This compact Bluetooth® transmitter enables you to transfer music and audio signals to any Bluetooth-enabled device (such as an active speaker, headphones, amplifier, etc.).

State-of-the-art AptX® technology means outstanding clarity and performance are guaranteed at a practical range of up to 10m. The transmitter can be connected to at any stereo system, TV or smartphone with a 3.5 mm jack or stereo RCA port.

Operation

Connection instructions:

1. Either plug the USB connector of the BTT 5000 into a USB port on your output device (e.g. TV, AV receiver, etc.) or use the supplied mains adapter for the power supply.
2. Connect the supplied 3.5mm jack cable to a corresponding output on your device (e.g. smartphone, tablet, TV, amplifier, etc.). You can also use the supplied adapter here, for example, to utilise a stereo RCA output.

Connecting a Bluetooth device:

1. Set the Bluetooth receiving device to its pairing mode.
2. When the device is in its pairing mode the BTT 5000 will automatically attempt to establish a connection.
3. When a connection has been established successfully the LED on the BTT 5000 will illuminate continuously.

Connecting a second Bluetooth device:

1. Set the second Bluetooth receiving device to its pairing mode.
2. Press the pairing button on the BTT 5000 for 1 to 2 seconds until its pairing mode is activated (LED flashes).
3. Under certain circumstances, you may need to switch off the first connected device in order to connect the second device. When a connection has been established successfully for the second device, you can switch the first device back on again. This should then automatically reconnect to the BTT 5000 after a short time, meaning that the two devices are simultaneously connected to the BTT 5000.

Erasing the memory:

Press the pairing button on the BTT 5000 for 5 seconds to reset it and erase its memory. The LED will then flash briefly every 5 seconds. This may be necessary if you want to connect a new device.

Troubleshooting

Error Solution
The BTT 5000 will not switch on	Please make sure that the BTT 5000 is connected via the USB cable to a power supply of at least 500mA.
The BTT 5000 cannot be paired with another device	a) Make sure that the Bluetooth device is no further than 1m away during the pairing process. b) Make sure that the Bluetooth function is enabled on the device being connected and that its search/pairing mode is active.
The BTT 5000 is connected to a device, but it is not possible to play any music	a) Make sure that both devices are paired. Please note that the maximum operating range is 10m. Any walls or obstacles located between the devices will reduce this range. b) Make sure that the volume on the playback device is set between 50 and 100%.

Remarks

Please observe the following instructions in order to prevent any risk of fire, short-circuits or damage to the product:

1. Do not expose the product to rain or moisture. Do not place any containers filled with water on the product.
2. Do not install the product in a bookcase, fitted cupboard or similarly enclosed spaces. Please ensure that there is sufficient ventilation for the product.
3. You should not cover the product or place items on the product in order to prevent short-circuits or fire due to overheating.
4. Do not place the product in proximity to sources of heat, e.g. heaters, stoves, etc.
5. Do not use the product in proximity to naked flames or candles.
6. Only use a dry cloth to clean the product.
7. Functionality may be restricted depending on the configuration of the device.
8. Please only use qualified service personnel to carry out repairs or servicing work.

This high quality standard allows us to provide a 2 year warranty for this OEHLBACH ® product. OEHLBACH® products are continuously inspected and checked throughout the entire manufacturing process. If service is necessary, however, please observe the following

1. The warranty period starts with the purchase of the product and only applies to the original owner.
2. During the warranty period we will rectify any defects that are due to faulty material or workmanship by replacing or repairing the defective part at our discretion. Further claims, and in particular those for price reduction, cancellation of sale, compensation for damage or subsequent damage, are excluded. The warranty period is not affected by any work we provide under the warranty.

4. In the event of a warranty claim please contact your authorised dealer first. Should it prove necessary to return the product to us, please ensure that
