Please study the entire Operating Manual carefully before you start using the product. Keep the manual in a safe place for future reference. Make sure other people using the product are familiar with these instructions. IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  • Do not use this equipment in a manner di erent from the instructions in this manual.

NOTICE Before mounting or removing accessories onto or from the machine, always pull the plug out of the electrical socket! Prior to using a new unit, wipe the surface with a wet cloth and wash the removable accessories in warm water for hygienic reasons. The unit is designed for short operation periods. Do not use it for periods of longer than 1 minute at a time. Allow the unit to cool down for at least 10 minutes after use. Never let the appliance run idle for more than 10 seconds. MIXING The stick extension is designed for making sauces, toppings, soups, mayonnaise, baby food, mixed drinks and milkshakes.

1. Put the food in the mixing bowl or another tall kitchen vessel.

35TM 4735CHOPPING The chopping bowl is suitable for chopping meat, cheese, onions, herbs, garlic, carrots, walnuts, almonds, dried plums, etc. Do not attempt to chop extremely hard foodstu s such as nutmeg, co ee beans, or cereals. Items like meat, cheese, onions, garlic, carrots, or frozen food must be cut before chopping. Remove the stems from herbs and all nutshells. Remove bones, cartilage and tendons from the meat.

36 TM 4735WHISKING The whisk extension may only be used for whisking cream, egg whites, for preparation of thin sponge cake dough, and cold desserts. Use a wide container. The maximum amount of cold cream (minimum fat content 30 %, 4-8 °C) for whisking is 400 ml. The maximum amount of egg whites to be whisked is four.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Switch the unit o and pull the plug from the socket prior to cleaning and after use of the unit. Clean the unit body with a wet cloth. Do not use steel wool, abrasive agents or solvents to clean the unit. The transmissions must not be exposed to water! Wipe them with a damp cloth only. Do not immerse the stick extension in water! Just rinse it. Make sure the water does not enter the extension where the driving spindle is. If this happens, leave the stick extension to dry and apply a few drops of vegetable oil to ease the operation of the extension bearings. Wash the vessels and blades in tepid water with detergent and rinse in clean water; you can use a dishwasher. Some of the plastic parts may change colour when you process ingredients with a higher pigmentation level (e.g. carrots). To remove the colour, apply vegetable oil to these parts and let it work for a couple of minutes before washing. The warranty conditions do not apply to defects caused by improper or inadequate maintenance of the equipment.

Any extensive maintenance or repair that requires access to the inner parts of the product must be performed by an expert service centre. ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

  • to appearance and functional changes caused by exposure to sunlight, thermal radiation of water and other sediments,
  • if the service life of certain product parts expires, e.g. for accumulators, bulbs, etc. The warranty does not apply to any products and ser- vices provided along with the product (gifts, promo- tional articles, etc.). Filing a complaint A complaint against a product defect must be led as soon as identied, yet no later than before the end of the warranty term. The customer must le a product complaint with the dealer from which they have purchased the pro- duct, or with any authorised service centre, a list of which is included in the product package, or available at www.my-concept.com. While ling a product complaint, the product must be duly cleaned and securely packed so as to prevent any damage during its transport to an authorised service centre, where relevant, unless the product is delivered in person. The customer must submit proof of having conclud- ed a purchase contract for the product by producing the receipt. While ling their complaint, the customer must indi- cate the noted defect and identify the preferred com- plaint application method. Complaints processing As long as the noted defect may be removed, the user has the right to have the defect duly removed free of charge on a timely basis. Where such a procedure is not reasonable with re- gard to the nature of the defect, the user may require to be supplied a new defect-free product (replace- ment), or, where the defect applies to a part of the product only, replacement of the part concerned. However, if replacement of the product or any part thereof is not proportionate with regard to the nature of the defect, especially if the defect can be removed without undue delay, the customer has the right to have the defect removed free of charge. If the noted defect is not removable, or if the custom- er becomes entitled to replacement of the product or a part thereof, yet the replacement is not possible, for example due to the product having been sold out, the customer has the right to return the product (withdrawal from the contract). The customer shall have the right to anew product (re- placement) or to replacement of apart of the product even if the defect can be removed, provided they can- not properly use the product due to repeated occur- rence of the defect or due to ahigh number of such de- fects. In such acase, the customer also has the right to return the product (by withdrawing from the contract). If the product is not returned (the customer does not withdraw from the contract), or if the customer does not apply the right to anew defect-free product (replacement), to replacement of apart thereof or to repair of the product, they may request areasonable discount. The customer also has aright to areason- able discount if a new defect-free product cannot be supplied to them, or if aproduct part cannot be replaced or the product repaired unless the situation is remedied within areasonable time limit, or if rem- edying the situation would create major discomfort on the part of the customer. The seller, authorised service centre or asta member authorised by them must decide about each complaint immediately or within three business days in complicat- ed cases. This term does not include areasonable period of time, depending on the type of product concerned, required for the defect to be assessed by an expert. On returning the product (withdrawing from the con- tract) the customer must return any accessories and documents supplied along with the product.
