Intended use
This product is suitable for watering outdoor gardens and patios. The product is intended for private use only, not for commercial use.

This product can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they are supervised or have been instructed in how to use the product safely and understand the dangers involved.
Children must not play with the product.
Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by children without supervision.

Never leave children unsupervised with the packaging material. Danger of suffocation!

Risk of injury!
- WARNING! Read all safety notes and instructions.
- Before each use, make sure that all parts of the product are undamaged and assembled according to these instructions for use. There is a risk of injury if the product is not installed correctly.

WARNING! Not drinking water!
Water that has flowed through this product is not suitable for drinking.
WARNING! Never point the water jet at people or animals!
- WARNING! Never direct the water jet at electrical equipment!
- Only suitable for outdoor use.

Avoid damaging the oduct!
- The product is only suitable for irrigation with cold water.
- Check the product for damage or wear before each use.
Only use the product if it is in good working condition!
- Discontinue using the product if there is visible or suspected damage.
- Disassemble the product and dry it before opening the battery compartment.
- Only assemble and disassemble the product when the water tap is closed.
WARNING! After using the product, always close the water tap. - Do not expose the product to direct and constant sunlight.
- Protect the product from frost.
- Observe the information on water temperature and operating pressure (see "Technical data").

Only connect compatible and undamaged hoses to the product.

Clean the unit connection from time to time to ensure the hose connection fits tightly.
Warnings Batteries!
- Remove the batteries when they are used up or if the product is not going to be used for a long time.
- Do not use different battery types, brands, new and used batteries together or those with different capacities as they may leak and cause damage.
- Observe the polarity (+ / - ) when inserting.

Replace all batteries at the same time and dispose of the old batteries in accordance with the regulations.

Warning! Batteries must not be charged or reactivated by other means, disassembled, thrown into fire or short-circuited.
- Always keep batteries out of the reach of children.
- Do not use rechargeable batteries!
- Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by children without supervision.
- Clean the battery and unit contacts if necessary and before insertion.

Do not expose the batteries to extreme conditions (e.g. radiators or direct sunlight). Otherwise there is an increased risk of leakage.

Attention. This product contains a coin battery (button cell with lithium). A coin battery can cause serious internal chemical burns if swallowed.
- Attention. Dispose of used batteries immediately. Keep new and used batteries away from children. In case of suspected ingestion or penetration of batteries into the body, seek medical help immediately.
Danger!
- Handle a damaged or leaking battery with extreme care and dispose of it immediately in accordance with the regulations. Wear gloves when doing this.
If you come into contact with battery acid, wash the affected area with soap and water. If battery acid gets into your eye, rinse it with water and seek medical treatment immediately!
- The terminals must not be short-circuited.
Use
Connecting the product
- Turn off the water tap.
- Connect the product (1) to the water tap via the quick connector (1a) and connect it to a water hose (not included) via the hose connector (1b), as shown in Fig. A.
Note: You can connect the product directly to a garden sprayer.
3. Check that all parts are connected tightly.
Using the meter
Press the MODE button to activate the display.
- Press the RESET button to switch between litre and gallon units.
- Press the MODE button several times in succession to display the following modes:
TOTAL 1
stored value 1:
Water quantity per day
TOTAL 2
stored value 2:
Water volume per season
AUTO
stored value 3:
Amount of water per watering.
The watering process can be interrupted for up to 3 seconds.
The display starts again from zero.
LITER/MIN or GAL/MIN
Current water flow in l/min or gal/min
Note: The product switches to standby mode if no button has been pressed for more than one minute or if no water has flowed.
Reset values
- Select the mode for which you want to reset the stored value: TOTAL 1, TOTAL 2 or AUTO.

Press the RESET button for approx. 3 seconds.

The value for the displayed mode is set to zero.

Insert/replace batteries (Fig. C)
ATTENTION! Observe the following instructions to avoid mechanical and electrical damage.
To insert and replace the battery (2), proceed as shown in Fig. C. Before using the unit for the first time, remove the protective strip after unscrewing the battery compartment.
Note: You will need an appropriate screwdriver (not included).
Note: Pay attention to the plus/ minus poles of the batteries and to inserting them correctly. The batteries must be fully within the battery holder.
Replace the battery when the corresponding symbol (1g) appears on the display.
After a battery change, all stored values are automatically reset.
Cleaning
Switch off the product before cleaning. Only wipe clean from the outside with a dry cleaning cloth.
IMPORTANT! Never clean with harsh cleaning agents.
Maintenance
Check the product regularly for damage and wear. If water leaks, correct the connections.
Storage
When not in use, always store the product dry, clean, without batteries and at room temperature.
Disposal

The accompanying symbol indicates that this device
complies with Directive
2012/19/EU. This directive indicates that you may not dispose of this device along with basic household waste at the end of its useful life and instead must hand it in to specifically designated collection sites, valuable substance collection stations, or waste disposal facilities.
Look after the environment and dispose of waste properly.
Batteries may not be disposed of with household waste. They may contain toxic heavy metals and are subject to hazardous waste treatment. The chemical symbols of the heavy metals are as follows: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead. Dispose of used batteries at a municipal collection site.

For further information about disposal of the product no longer needed, act your local council. Dis- of the product and the aging in an environmentally, dly manner. Store the pack- ing materials (foil bags, for nple) out of the reach of ren.

Note the label on the packaging materials when
separating waste, as these are labelled with abbreviations (a) and numbers (b) with the following meaning: 1-7: plastics / 20-22: paper and cardboard / 80-98: composite materials. The product and the packaging materials can be recycled, dispose of them separately for better treatment of waste.
Notes on the guarantee and service handling
The product was produced with great care and under continuous quality control. DELTA-SPORT HANDELSKONTOR GmbH gives private end customers a three-year guarantee on this product from
the date of purchase (guarantee period) in accordance with the following provisions. The guarantee is only valid for material and manufacturing defects. The guarantee does not cover parts subject to normal wear and tear that are thus considered wear parts (e.g. batteries) or fragile parts such as switches, rechargeable batteries, or parts made of glass.
Claims under this guarantee are excluded if the product has been used incorrectly, improperly, or contrary to the intended purpose, or if the provisions in the instructions for use were not observed, unless the end customer proves that a material or manufacturing defect exists that was not caused by one of the aforementioned circumstances.
Claims under the guarantee can only be made within the guarantee period by presenting the original sales receipt. Please therefore keep the original sales receipt. The guarantee period is not extended by any repairs carried out under the guarantee, under statutory guarantees, or as a gesture of goodwill. This also applies to replaced and repaired parts.
If you wish to make a claim please first contact the service hotline mentioned below or contact us by e-mail. If there is a guarantee case, then the product will be repaired or replaced free of charge to you or the purchase price will be refunded, depending on our choice.
Your legal rights, in particular guarantee claims against the respective seller, are not limited by this guarantee.
