Power supply

• Before connecting the device to your power supply, please ensure that the supply voltage stated on the rating plate is compatible with your mains supply.
• Only connect the mains plug to the wall socket when the device is switched off.
• Do not use the device if it or the power supply cable is damaged, if it does not work properly or if it has been dropped or fallen into water.
• Do not touch the mains plug when you are standing in water and always take hold of the plug with dry hands.
• Do not take hold of a device if it falls into water. Unplug the mains cable immediately.
• Keep the device and its power cable away from hot surfaces.
• Avoid the contact of the device with pointed or sharp items.
• Never carry, pull or turn the device by the electricity cable and do not squeeze the cable.
• Position the mains cable so as to avoid the danger of falling.
• Switch off all functions after use and remove the plug from the mains supply.

• This device is not designed to be used by persons (including children) with limited physical, sensory or mental abilities, or by persons with insufficient experience and/or knowledge, unless under observation by a person responsible for their safety, or unless instructed in the use of the device.
  Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the device.

• If you have medical problems with your feet, vein diseases or diabetes, talk to your doctor before using the device.
• Should you have inexplicable pain or swellings in your legs or feet or have injured a muscle, please consult your doctor before use.
• We advise consultation with your doctor if you are pregnant.
• Stop a massage if you experience pain during the application or swellings, crop up after use.

Operating the device

• Only use the device for its intended use as in the instructions for use. If misused, all guarantee rights shall become null and void.
  The device is not determined for commercial use.
• Do not use the device outdoors or in damp rooms.
• Make sure that you use your foot spray bath on a safe and even surface that is not sensitive to moisture.
• Only use the device with water and appropriate bath additives and not with other liquids.
• Do not stand in the device as it is not designed to take the burden of full body weight.
• Never cover the device during operation and do not use it under blankets or cushions.

Maintenance and cleaning

• You may only clean the device yourself. If the device malfunctions please do not repair it yourself as this leads to the automatic expiry of all guarantee rights. Ask your specialist dealer and only have repairs carried-out by authorised service companies.
• Do not immerse the device in water or other fluids.
• If, nonetheless, liquid should penetrate the device, unplug the mains cable immediately.

In order to achieve the desired effect with your foot spray bath in the long term, we recommend that you read the following information on its use and maintenance carefully.

2.1 Items supplied and packaging

Please check first of all that the unit is complete and is not damaged in any way. If in doubt, do not use the appliance. Send it to a service point.

The packaging can be reused or recycled. Please dispose properly of any packaging material no longer required.

If you notice any transport damage during unpacking, please contact your dealer without delay.

WARNING

Please ensure that polybag packing is kept away from reach of children! Risk of suffocation!

3.1 Pedicure using the WBW foot spray bath

You can use the WBW foot spray bath to give your feet a treat and to relax after a hard day. You can take approx. 10 to 15 minutes for a footbath with a massage, once or twice per day. However you should make sure that the device has cooled down fully after each use before it is used again!

The WBW foot spray bath is suited for use with water and also for a dry foot massage. You may fill the device with cold or warm water. However, the device's heating function is not suitable for heating the water poured into the device, it merely slows down the cooling off of the water.

3.2 Use with water

CAUTION

Make sure that you use your MEDISANA foot spray bath on a safe and even surface that is not sensitive to moisture. Never use any foaming bath additives or bath salts.

Fill the device with warm or cold water up to the marked filling line on the inside. If necessary, add an appropriate bath additive. Place the device on a firm floor area and then plug in the power supply to the mains. Sit down comfortably in front of the device and set the desired function with the function button 1.

Select MASSAGE to stimulate your feet by vibration of the massage nipples at the bottom of the device. The setting MASSAGE / SPRAY BATH / HEAT activates all three device functions. On top of the vibration, the device gives additional heat gently and the four air spray slats ensure an invigorating spray bath for the feet.

After finishing the footbath, press the function button 1 to the OFF position. Pull the plug out of the mains supply and empty the foot spray bath.

3.3 Use without water

Place the device on a clean and firm floor area where it cannot tip over and insert the plug into the mains supply. Sit down in front of the device and select the MASSAGE setting using the function button 1. Put your feet into the device. The massage knops 3 now massage your sole from the tips of the toes up to the heel. After the massage, press the function button 1 to the OFF position and remove the mains plug.

3.4 Additional massage applications

Additionally to the possibilities of use already described, the WBW foot spray bath offers you two massage accessories with which you can augment its use with/without water and can be used without having to activate the device.

Massage roller

Roll your soles over the massage roller with an intensity you find pleasant. This increases your blood circulation and has an invigorating effect on the feet.

Massage balls

Use the four central massage balls ④ for a reflex zone massage. This massage technique can be used to respond to specific areas of the body and to stimulate them.

4.1 Cleaning and maintenance

• Before cleaning the device, make sure that it is turned off and the mains plug is removed from the socket.
• Pour the water out and clean the device with a cloth when it has cooled off.
• Please do not use any aggressive substances, e.g. scouring chemicals or other washing-up liquids when cleaning. These could damage the surface.
• Store the device in a dry, cool place.
• Wind-up the electricity lead carefully to avoid it parting.

4.2 Disposal

This product must not be disposed together with the domestic waste.

All users are obliged to hand in all electrical or electronic devices, regardless of whether or not they contain toxic substances, at a municipal or commercial collection point so that they can be disposed of in an environmentally acceptable manner.

Consult your municipal authority or your dealer for information about disposal.

Warranty and repair terms

Please contact your dealer or the service centre in case of a claim under the warranty. If you have to return the unit, please enclose a copy of your receipt and state what the defect is.

The following warranty terms apply:

1. The warranty period for MEDISANA products is three years from date of purchase. In case of a warranty claim, the date of purchase has to be proven by means of the sales receipt or invoice.
2. Defects in material or workmanship will be removed free of charge within the warranty period.
3. Repairs under warranty do not extend the warranty period either for the unit or for the replacement parts.
4. The following is excluded under the warranty:

a. All damage which has arisen due to improper treatment, e.g. non-observation of the user instructions.
b. All damage which is due to repairs or tampering by the customer or unauthorised third parties.
c. Damage which has arisen during transport from the manufacturer to the consumer or during transport to the service centre.
d. Accessories which are subject to normal wear and tear.

1. Liability for direct or indirect consequential losses caused by the unit are excluded even if the damage to the unit is accepted as a warranty claim.
