- Lift the lid off the glass jug (fig. 1).
- Place the toothed foam blender on the pin in the glass jug (fig.2).
- Fill the glass jug with cold milk. Look for the MIN and MAX markings. If you pour in too much milk – more than 350 ml – the milk, which increases in volume when heated, might spill out of the jug (fig. 3).
- Place the lid back on the glass jug (fig. 4).
- Place the glass jug on the heater plate of the appliance base, using the handle. Plug the power plug into a suitable wall outlet (fig. 5).
- Touch the sensor button repeatedly until the right symbol lights up in the display (fig. 6.):

Frothing without heating

Frothing and heating
- The magnet motor will drive the blender element in the glass jug. Depending on the function, the heater plate and the glass jug will heat up additionally.
- After approx. 90 to 360 seconds, the appliance will stop automatically and the function symbol will go out. The milk is frothed and can be poured resp. spooned onto your espresso/coffee. Before that, please remove the lid.
- If you wish to switch the appliance off before the automatic stop, simply touch the function button another time.
Tips:
- Let the frothed milk sit for a while so that it becomes more firm and stable.
- Spoon the frothed milk onto your espresso to make it stay compact.
- Depending on what kind of coffee you want to make, pour the remaining milk that has not been frothed into your coffee:
Cappuccino consists of one third hot espresso, one third hot milk and one third frothed milk.
Latte Macchiato consists of one espresso, a bit of hot milk and a lot of frothed milk.
Caffè Latte consists of a double espresso in a big cup, that is then filled up with hot milk. Only add a little or no frothed milk at all.
- For best results, use cold, low-fat milk (1,5% fat) from the fridge for your frothed milk.
- Cold frothed milk works well for cold milky coffee or Cappuccino Freddo and is very refreshing on hot days. For cold frothed milk, use the toothed foam blender on the 🔒 setting.

- Touch the sensor button repeatedly until the right symbol lights up in the display:

Stirring and heating (fig. 13)
- The magnet motor will drive the blender element in the glass jug, the heater plate and the glass jug will heat up additionally.
- After approx. 300 to 420 seconds, the appliance will stop automatically and the function symbol will go out. The glass jug now contains delicious hot chocolate you can pour from the jug into a cup. Before doing that, remove the lid from the jug.
- If you wish to switch the appliance off before the automatic stop, simply touch the function button another time.
FINISH FROTHING MILK / MAKING CHOCOLATE
• After making frothed milk, hot milk or hot chocolate, always pull the plug and let the appliance cool down.
- We recommend cleaning the accessories and the motor base right after they have cooled down to prevent milk and chocolate residues from drying up.
- If you wish to use the appliance again, you have to let it cool down completely before.
▲ CLEANING AND CARE
• Always pull the plug and let the appliance cool down before cleaning. Caution: The heater plate and the glass jug are hot after use!
- Remove the blender element from the cool glass jug and rinse it carefully under running water (fig. 14).
- After that, you should hand-wash the jug and the lid in warm water with some mild detergent and a soft sponge or cloth, then re-rinse and carefully dry it (fig. 15). You can clean the jug (not the lid, the blender elements and under no circumstances the motor base) in the top drawer of the dish washer. Over time, this might lead to signs of wear on the material and the print.
- Never use aggressive or abrasive detergents or solutions or any other hard resp. scratching objects to clean parts of the appliance. They might damage the surface.
- Clean the motor base and the heater plate only with a wet cloth. Never submerge the motor base with the power plug and cord in liquid or hold it under running water (fig. 16 and 17).
- Store the spare blender elements in the bottom of the motor base resp. place one blender element back in the glass jug. Like that, they are always at hand (fig. 18).
