How to adjust the radiator temperature?

Turn the thermostat clockwise to increase the temperature and counterclockwise to decrease it. When the desired temperature is reached, slowly turn the thermostat until the power indicator turns off. The radiator will then automatically maintain that temperature.

The radiator turns off by itself, is this normal?

Yes, it is normal. The radiator is equipped with an automatic thermal shut-off that turns it off in case of overheating. Once cooled, it turns back on automatically. If the problem persists, check that nothing is blocking the vents.

Can I use an extension cord with this radiator?

No, it is not recommended to use an extension cord as it may cause overheating and a fire hazard. Plug the radiator directly into a suitable wall outlet.

What is the maximum power of the radiator?

The maximum power is 1500 W. You can select three power levels: 500 W (I), 1000 W (II) and 1500 W (I+II) via the switch.

Can I use the radiator in a bathroom?

No, this radiator is not suitable for use in bathrooms, laundry rooms or humid environments. Never use it near a bathtub, shower or swimming pool.

How to clean the radiator?

Let the radiator cool down, unplug it, then clean the outer surface with a soft damp cloth. Never use abrasives or solvents, and do not let water enter the inside.

What to do if the radiator no longer heats?

First check that the thermostat is not set too low and that the radiator is properly plugged in. If the thermal fuse has blown, the device must be repaired by a professional. Contact your dealer.

The radiator makes noise, is this normal?

A slight cracking or clicking may occur when the fins heat up or cool down, this is normal. If the noise is abnormal, check that the radiator is stable on a flat surface.

Can I paint the radiator fins?

No, do not paint the fins. Paint can reduce thermal efficiency and pose a fire risk. Use the radiator as is.

Where should I place the radiator for safe use?

Place the radiator on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface. Maintain a distance of at least 1 meter from any combustible materials (curtains, furniture, etc.). Do not place it on a soft surface and never cover it.

This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory and mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

• Connect the appliance to single-phase AC power supply of the voltage specified on the rating label.
• This heater is intended for indoor, non-commercial, non-industrial, household use only. Do not use outdoors. Do not use the heater for any other purpose.
• This heater is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry areas, and similar indoor locations. Do not use this heater in the immediate surroundings of a bath, a shower or a swimming pool.
• Never leave this heater unattended while it is in use. Always turn the heater to the "OFF" position and unplug it from the electrical outlet when it is not in use.
• Extreme caution is necessary when this heater is used by or near children and whenever the heater is left operating and unattended. Keep the heater out of the reach of children and pets. This heater is not intended to use by children. Children should be

supervised to ensure that they do not play with the heater.

• This heater is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the heater by a person responsible for their safety.
• Do not use the heater while sleeping or place it near a person who is sleeping.
• Place the heater on a flat, steady, stable, heat-resistant surface.
• Do not place the heater on or near surfaces that may be damaged by heat (i.e., delicate rugs, wall paper, floor coverings not made of heat-resistant material, etc.).

• Do not insert or place flammable materials (i.e., paper, plastic, or cardboard) in, on or near the heater.
• Use the heater in a well-ventilated area.
• This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. If provided, use handles when moving this heater. Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9m) from the front of the heater and keep them away from the sides and rear.

• Do not touch hot surfaces. Always use the handle of the heater. Use protective oven mitts or gloves to avoid burns or serious personal injury.

• Always maintain your distance from the heater while it is use to avoid serious burns and personal injury
• Never insert fingers, hair, metallic objects or any other item into the vents and openings of the heater, as an electrocution, fire, and/or burn hazard exists.

• Do not use this heater to dry or heat clothing, shoes, pipes, or any other item.
• Do not place or expose this heater to water or other liquids.
• Do not move the heater when it is heated. Allow the heater to thoroughly cool before handling it.
• Do not run cord under carpeting and do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners or the like. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
• To disconnect the heater, turn the controls to the "OFF" position, then remove the plug from the electrical outlet. Disconnect the plug (do not pull on the Power Cord) from the electrical outlet.
• Do not use attachments not recommended or sold by the heater manufacturer, as a risk of fire, electrical shock, or serious personal injury may result.

• Attachments, when furnished, may become hot during use. Allow any attachments to cool before handling them.

• To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust openings in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.

• WARNING: In order to avoid overheating, do not cover the heater.
• To avoid a circuit overload when using this heater, do not operate another high-wattage heater on the same electrical circuit.
• Avoid the use of an extension cord because the extension cord may overheat and cause a risk of fire.
• Do not allow the Power Cord to hang (i.e., over the edge of a table or counter) or place/run the Power Cord under rugs or in high-traffic areas where it may be tripped over or pulled.
• Do not put any stress on the Power Cord where it connects to the heater, as the Power Cord could fray and break.
• Do not plug or unplug the heater from the electrical outlet with a wet hand.
• Keep the Power Cord and heater away from heated surfaces.
• If the supply cord is damaged return the heater to your market.
• The heater must not be located immediately below a socket-outlet.
• When scrapping the heater, follow the regulations concerning the disposal of oil.
• The heater should not be used in a room, of which the floor area is less than 5 M^2 .

• Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.

• To avoid the risk of electrical shock, fire or injury to persons, always make sure that the heater is unplugged from the electrical outlet before relocating, servicing or cleaning it.

Safety Control (Thermal Cut-Out):

This model has two levels of over heat protection:
1) Automatic thermal cut-off: Switches off the heater in the event of overheating or malfunction and resets once the temperature drops to a normal level.
2) Thermal fuse: In the event that the automatic thermal cut-off fails to operate the heater has a further safety device. This is a non-resettable switch which will require the unit be returned to an Approved Service Agent for replacement.

If overheating or malfunctions continue, return the heater to your retailer for examination.

Operating:

• Place the heater in an upright position on a flat, steady, stable, heat-resistant surface. Make sure there is nothing flammable or heat sensitive within 1 meter (40 inches). Operating the heater in any other position could cause a hazard.
• Insert the plug into a suitable wall outlet on an A.C. power supply having the same voltage as that show on it's rating label after turning the thermostat knob counter-clockwise to the minimum position
• Turn the thermostat knob clockwise to maximum position. When the temperature rises to with a comfortable level, slowly turn thermostat counter-clockwise until the power indicator light just goes out. To adjust the room temperature turn the thermostat clockwise to raise the temperature, or counter-clockwise to lower it. Your unit will be automatically set an on-and-off cycle to maintain the current room temperature according to thermostat setting. (Note: It normally requires approx. 15 minutes to reach the operating temperature.)
  To turn the appliance off, turn the thermostat to "O" and remove plug from the wall socket.
• Unplug the heater from the electrical outlet when it is left unattended or is not in use.

Care and Cleaning:

CAUTION: Allow the heater to completely cool before handling or cleaning it.

Ensure the heater is in the "O" OFF position and the Power Cord is unplugged from the electrical outlet before cleaning the heater.

Always ensure the heater's housing is intact and completely assembled before each use.
- Do not touch hot surfaces. Always use the handle of the heater. Use protective mitts or gloves to avoid serious burns or other personal injury.
- Clean the exterior surface of the heater by wiping it with a soft, damp cloth.

CAUTION: Do not allow water or other liquids to run into the interior of the heater, as this could create a fire and/or electrical hazard.

• Do not use any abrasive cleaners or solvents, as heater damage will occur.
• Store the heater in a clean, dry place when it is not in use.
