IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

  1. Always disconnect the appliance from the supply if it is left unattended and before assembling, disassembling or cleaning.
  2. This appliance shall not be used by children. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children.

  4. Do not use this appliance outdoors or for commercial purposes. This unit is intended for household use only.

  5. Remove beaters from hand mixer before washing.

  6. Do not allow the power cable to hang down within reach of children.

BEFORE FIRST USE

  1. Carefully unpack your hand mixer set and remove all packaging material.
  2. Clean the various accessories of your appliance in warm soapy water, rinse and dry thoroughly before use.

USE

NOTE: The speed control knob should be in "0" position before using. After each use, firstly reset the speed control knob to "0" position and then unplug the appliance.

1. Chopping

1) Attach the blade on to blade support in the jar and pour in the food to be chopped. You can chop meat, cheese, onions, herbs, garlic, carrots almonds, prunes etc..
2) Fix chopper cover on the chopper bowl; place the motor unit onto the chopper cover by opening the cover of the mounting hole. Rotate the motor unit to fix completely. ATTENTION: make sure the motor unit is fixed to the bottom of the connector on the chopper cover. Otherwise, the on/off switch will not work.
3) Plug in. Turn the speed control knob to your desired setting. Press and hold the on/off switch to start working. During operation, hold the motor unit with one hand and another for chopper bowl.
4) After use, unplug the appliance and take the motor unit from the chopper. Open the cover and take out the blade carefully. Caution: Blade is every sharp, handle with care.
5) Remove the processed food from the chopper bowl.

Caution: For food like meat (quantity should be under 350g), do not operate the appliance more than 30 seconds for each time. For food like vegetables and fruit (do not over the “max” level on the bowl), do not operate the appliance more than 60 seconds for each time.

2. Mixing and kneading

1) Insert beaters or dough hooks into the left and right opening on the bottom of the motor unit. Make sure they are locked into position.
2) Turn the speed control knob to the position "0", and then plug in the appliance.
3) Place the ingredients in an appropriate container. Position the beaters or dough hooks into the container and choose the speed from "1" - "5". The appliance will start working. Please note for this function, no need to press the on/off switch to start working. The unit will be in operation by using the speed control knob directly.
4) When you have finished using it, reset the control knob to position "0".

5) Unplug the appliance. While pressing the eject button, pull out the beaters/dough hooks.

Caution:

  • Do not continuously operate the mixer too long. The motor may overheat. After 5 minutes continuous use, allow the mixer to rest a few minutes before next use. Do not allow the mixer to operate more than 5 minutes at one time.
  • To prevent spattering, keep the beaters in mixture and always switch the mixer off before lifting the beaters from the mixture.
  • To avoid unnecessary strain on the motor, do not use mixer for any mixture in which the beaters /dough hooks do not revolve freely.

Operating hints:

Most recipes provide the required time and speed needed.

  • SPEED 1-2: For mixing dry ingredients with liquids, folding whipped egg whites and cream into mixtures, stirring gravies and sauces and mashing vegetables.
  • SPEED3-4: For mixing cake mixes, puddings or batters. For using the dough hooks when mixing dough or heavier cake mixes. For creaming together shortening and sugar.
  • SPEED 5: For whipping cream, evaporated or powdered milk, egg whites or whole eggs. For mixing minced meat or kneading heavy dough.

3. Pureeing

1) Insert the stick mixer attachment into the motor unit by opening the cover of the mounting hole; turn until it locks. Plug in.
2) Turn the speed control knob to your desired setting. Press and hold the on/off switch to start working.
3) The appliance blends and mixes fast and easily. Use it to make sauces, soups, mayonnaise, purees, dietary and baby food, mixed drinks or cocktails; you can operate the appliance just as well in any bowl, and pan or other container too. If you want to blend directly in the saucepan, you should take the saucepan away from the stove first and let it cool down slightly.
4) To avoid splashing, insert the stick blender into the vessel first, and then choose the speed.

Caution: Do not continuously operate the appliance too long. The motor may overheat. Do not allow the appliance to operate more than 1 minute at one time. It should rest 30 seconds after 1 minute working.

Note: Never wash the motor unit in water. Make sure the cord is removed from electrical outlet before taking out accessories from the motor part.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  1. Before cleaning switch off and unplug the cord from the electrical outlet.
  2. Clean the motor unit with a damp cloth. Never immerse it in water for cleaning as electrical shock may occur.
  3. Wash the chopper cover and bowl in warm soapy water. Wipe with a damp cloth. Take out blade, wash it under running water. Caution: Blade is every sharp, handle with care.
  4. Clean the beaters / dough hooks and the shaft under running water or in a dishwasher. Rinse and dry. Don't touch the shape blades.
