Fax +32 2 359 95 50 MOUNTING Your appliance is delivered with 4 feet that have to be mounted before each use (once in place they cannot be removed). Therefore, turn round the appliance and screw the feet in the places foreseen to that end. You can adjust the height of the grill at three different levels. Therefore, place the four feet of the grill in the openings corresponding to the desired height (see picture on page 3). Attention, place the feet in the 4 openings corresponding to the same height.
Clean the grill and the accessories (Cf. CLEANING AND CARE). It is recommended to heat up the grill for about 10 minutes without any foodstuff in order to eliminate the grease that may have adhered during manufacture and the «new» smell. Ventilate the room during this period. OPERATION Set the heating element upright and place the tray in the bottom of the appliance. Your appliance possesses a bracket (7) to support the heating element and maintain it in vertical position, which allows you to reach the bottom of the appliance as well as the tray more easily. Pay attention not to get burned when you set the heating element upright to refill the tray with water. Fill the tray with approximately 0.5 L water. Connect the appliance and switch it on by placing the ON/OFF switch on the position I. Then preheat the grill for 10- 15 minutes to reach the ideal cooking temperature. Now put the foodstuffs onto the grill rack. CAUTION: WHEN YOU WANT TO CHANGE THE GRILL HEIGHT ALWAYS USE OVEN GLOVES The water in the tray will evaporate during use. It is therefore necessary to refill water from time to time. Always unplug the appliance before refilling the tray. The grilling times vary according to the nature of the foodstuffs and to your personal taste. When grilling is finished switch off the grill and disconnect it. PRACTICAL HINTS Frozen food should always be thawed before it is grilled. When grilling big quantities, it is recommended to occasionally carefully remove the accumulated fat from the tray. Therefore: - Place the ON/OFF switch on the position 0 and remove the plug from the power supply. - Remove the grill rack with the foodstuffs. - Set the heat resistance and the control panel upright (turn them around the fix axle). The bracket will keep them upright. CAUTION: DO NOT GET BURNET AND HOLD THE CABLE IN ORDER THAT IT DOESN’T COME INTO CONTACT WITH THE HEATING ELEMENT. - Remove the accumulated fat from the tray. - Replace everything. Therefore proceed inversely. Copies of the I/B. Please reproduce them without any changes except under special instruction from Team International BELGIUM. Clean the bottom of the appliance, the tray and the grill rack with warm soapy water and rinse and dry afterwards. CAUTION: DO NOT WET THE RESISTANCE OR THE CONTROL PANEL.
