Frequently Asked Questions - USB 7004 US Blaster

How to connect turntables to the USB 7004?
Use the phono inputs of each channel. Adjust the Gain to set the input level. If your turntables have a line output, switch the selector to Line.
How to use the Cue function?
Press the Cue button of the desired channel (the LED lights up). The signal will be audible in the headphones. Use the Split button to listen to Cue on the right and Master on the left.
What does the Transform button do?
The Transform button allows adding or cutting the signal of a channel while using the crossfader. For example, if the crossfader is to the left (channel A only), pressing the right Transform adds channel C.
How to adjust the equalization?
Each channel has three faders: High (treble), Mid (midrange), and Bass (bass). Turn them to increase or decrease the corresponding frequency. The Killer switches immediately cut the selected band.
Can I connect a microphone?
Yes, connect the mic to the dedicated input and use the Gain to adjust the volume. You can also adjust the EQ (High, Bass) and the stereo position with Pan.
How to connect headphones?
Plug your headphones into one of the two front Phones jacks. Adjust the volume with the Cue knob (headphone volume) and the Monitor for the monitor output.
What do the Line/Phono LEDs mean?
These LEDs indicate which input is active on the channel: Line for a line source (CD, computer) or Phono for a turntable with built-in phono preamp.
How to use the subwoofer output?
The Subwoofer output delivers a signal filtered at 125 Hz. Connect it to a powered subwoofer. The level is controlled by the Master fader.
What if no sound comes out of the master?
Check that the Master fader is open, the channels are not muted (Cue turned off) and the crossfader is not stuck on an empty channel. Also ensure the output cables are properly connected.
How to clean the USB 7004?
Use a soft, dry cloth to dust the surface. Avoid chemicals. The faders are dust-proof, but regular maintenance extends their lifespan.

USER MANUAL USB 7004 US Blaster

Our USB 7004 has 3 channels (A, B and C) of which each includes a fader and 1 channel without any fader. This last channel enables a microphone to be used; the microphone volume level can be set using the gain control. You will surely appreciate the long, flexibly operating (100 mm) ALPS faders, which are mounted so that any dirt is prevented from entering them and, therefore, a long-term trouble-free operation is ensured. The 3 channels have 2 inputs to connect, besides turntables, line signals. Due to the button situated next the channel input control, switching from Input 1 to Input 2 is easy because switching the plugs is eliminated.

Extra attention is paid to tone adjustment: perfect trebles including their boosting, middle tone presence and beautiful basses. In addition, 3 killers enable bass, middle tone and/or treble to be removed from X-fader within a second. The X- fader operates on 2 external faders and Transform switches add music fragments from one channel to those from the other.

Pre-listening operates on both channels and uses an outstanding amplifier, which is equipped with a switch to reproduce pre-listening and master signal at the same time.

The balanced master output is fitted with chassis XLR connectors and the built-in relay prevents undesirable cracking noise (plops) from occurring so that your sound system is protected in an optimum manner.

In addition to the master output, the USB 7004 includes a Sub output, Monitor output and 2^nd Phones output.
