How to empty the dust bin?

Press button (5) to open the dust bin. Empty the contents into a trash bin. To clean the motor protection filter, remove the filter container (fig. 3) and tap or brush it gently. After three emptying cycles, wash the filter with warm water without detergent and let it dry completely before reinserting.

How to clean the motor protection filter?

The motor protection filter is located in the dust bin. To clean it, remove the bin, empty it, then take out the filter container. Tap gently and brush carefully. Every third emptying, wash it with warm water against the airflow direction, without detergent. Only reinsert it when completely dry.

When should the HEPA filter be replaced?

The HEPA filter (exhaust filter) should be replaced every 6 months to ensure optimal performance. It is located on the left side of the vacuum cleaner behind a ventilation grille. Open the grille by pulling the lever sideways, remove the old filter and insert a new one.

How to adjust the suction power?

Use the power control (4) located on the appliance. Three levels are available: low for curtains and delicate fabrics, medium for long-pile carpets and textile coverings, high for robust carpets and rugs.

What to do if the vacuum cleaner no longer sucks properly?

First check that the dust bin is not full and the motor filter is not clogged. Clean the motor filter if necessary. Also ensure the HEPA filter is not saturated; replace it if needed. Check that the hose and attachments are not blocked. Open the air regulator on the handle to release any trapped object.

How to use the upholstery nozzle?

The upholstery nozzle / brush nozzle has two functions. For upholstered furniture, use the nozzle without the brush. The brush is attached underneath the nozzle; you can detach it for use on more delicate surfaces.

Press the cable storage button (10) while guiding the cord with your hand. Hold it firmly to prevent it from whipping. Never unwind the cord beyond the yellow mark; the red mark indicates the limit not to exceed to avoid damaging the rewinder.

Can I vacuum liquids with this vacuum cleaner?

No, this vacuum cleaner is designed for dry vacuuming only. Never vacuum liquids, damp areas, hot ashes, or sharp objects. This could damage the appliance and pose a safety risk.

How to change the HEPA filter?

The HEPA filter is located behind the ventilation grille on the left side of the vacuum cleaner. Open the grille by pulling the lever sideways. Remove the old filter and insert the new one. Close the grille. It is recommended to replace this filter every 6 months.

Start-up

1. Insert the vacuum hose in the opening in the dust bag compartment until it locks in mechanically.
2. To release the hose, press the button on the vacuum hose.
3. Keep the button pressed and pull out the hose.
4. Insert the vacuum tube into the handle if required.

Using the Appliance

1. Fit on the accessory.
2. Unwind the necessary length of cable and insert the plug in a duly installed 230V/50Hz protective contact socket.
3. Set the vacuum power with the vacuum power regulator.
4. Vacuum at a steady speed. There is no need to exert pressure.
5. Attention: pay attention to the range that can be covered with the cable length.

Vacuum power regulator:

Low vacuum power: For curtains and delicate fabrics

Medium vacuum power: For long-pile velour carpets and textile flooring

High vacuum power: For sturdy rugs and floors

Cable winding device:

Pull out the cable up to the maximum length indicated with the yellow mark. Never pull the cable out up to the red mark as the cable winding can be damaged. Said damages are not covered by the warranty.

Winding

Press the cable winding button and guide the cable. Hold the cable to avoid wrapping.

Telescope Vacuum Pipe:

• The height-adjustable vacuum pipe enables individual alignment to your height.
• Unlock the coupling by pressing the key in the direction of the arrow
• Slide the vacuum pipe to the desired length.
• To lock the device, release the key until you hear it lock in place.

Nozzle accessories:

Note: The accessories are in the accessories drawer (8) under the machine

Floor nozzle: For cleaning carpets or smooth surfaces.

Crevice nozzle: To vacuum corners and slits

Upholstery/Brush Nozzle: Please note that the upholstery/brush nozzle is a "two-in-one" attachment. For upholstery please use the nozzle without the attachment. The brush attachment is hooked under the upholstery nozzle.

Damper:

Open the damper on the hose handle to adjust the airflow or to release objects clinging to the nozzle.

Filter:

Your machine has three filter systems.

1. Transparent dust collection container

2. The traditional dust bag system has been replaced by a transparent dust collection container in which coarse dirt particles and tiny particles floating in the air are swirled out of the suction air by the high speed of the air current.

3. The quantity of dust can be easily read off at any time on the container, which is also very easy to empty.

4. The purchase of dust bags is no longer necessary.

5. Motor Protective Filter (in the Dust Container)

Once the dust level has reached the MAX mark on the dust container, please proceed as follows:

1. Remove the dust container (see illustration 1).
2. Remove the contents of the dust container (see illustration 2).
3. Remove the filter insert (see illustration 3) and clean the motor protective filter by knocking out and gentle brushing.
4. Now replace the components.

Every third time the dust container is emptied, or in the case of severe soiling, clean the filter by allowing water to flow through the filter fabric against the direction in which the vacuum cleaner blows. The dust container should only be reinserted when it is completely dry!

1. Outlet filter (Hepa Filter):

The appliance is also equipped with an outlet filter.

• We recommend replacing the filter every 6 months in order to guarantee perfect working order.
• You will find this filter on the left side of your machine behind a ventilation grid.
• Open the ventilation grid by pulling the lever next to it.
• Remove the filter and replace it with a new filter.

Cleaning and storage

Cleaning:

• Pull the plug out of the socket before cleaning!
• Clean the casing with a dry cloth.
• Clean the motor protection filter approximately every 3. time the vacuum cleaner is emptied. Clean the filter in hot water without additives. Put it back into place only once it is completely dry.

Storage:

• Wind the cable completely.
• Insert the hook of the nozzle on the side of the machine into the parking assistance (6).

The guarantee services do not entail an extension of the life of the guarantee nor do they give rise to any right to a new guarantee!

Proof of the guarantee is provided by the proof of purchase. Without proof of purchase no free replacement or repair will be carried out.

If you wish to make a claim under the guarantee please return the entire machine in the original packaging to your dealer together with the receipt.
