Important Remark

We would like to point out expressly that the relatively long boiling time of this product (CB 615) is due to its type of construction. As the power of your car battery is limited (12 volts) this is unavoidable and does not mean that the product is not working correctly.

First Use of the Machine

Please read these operating instructions carefully and keep them in a safe place. Before using for the first time, boil fresh water at least twice in the appliance. Use only water without any additives or ingredients.

Operation

  1. Place the machine on a fl at surface. Note: The device can also be secured firmly in place with the help of the wall holder. Please ensure safe and correct installation.
  2. Open the kettle by pulling the lid upwards. Then fi ll in the water. Please only fi ll up to the maximum (MAX) mark. You can read off the water level in the water level display.
  3. Close the lid until you hear it lock in place.
  4. Place the kettle flush on the base.
  5. Electrical connection

- Check whether the electrical voltage that you intend to use is the same as that of the machine. Details are to be found on the label on the base.

- Connect the power cable to a 12V/15A direct current (DC) socket such as the cigarette lighter. The control lamp in the plug lights up.

  1. Turn on the device with the switch (O/I). The internal light in the kettle and the control lamp in the on/off switch light up.

Important note on operating the kettle:

The kettle does not switch itself off after the water has boiled. However, thanks to the internal light you can observe the boiling process at all times. Once the boiling temperature has been reached the heating element automatically reduces the power consumption.

The device must only be used in the car with the engine running in order to save the battery.
