ADDITIONS GENERAL SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

Read all general safety instrucons carefully and keep them for future use.

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed including the following:

1. Read all instrucons.
2. Install in accordance with this supplied user manual.
3. Check whether the nominal power indications on the rang plate match those of your local network before connecng the device to the mains.
4. Only use the device for its intended use. Only use the supplied accessories.
5. WARNING: this electrical appliance contains a heang funcon. Surfaces, also different than the functional surfaces, can develop high temperatures. Since temperatures are dierently perceived by dierent persons, this equipment shall be used with CAUTION. The equipment shall be touch only at intended handles and gripping surfaces, and use heat protecon like gloves or similar. Surfaces other than intended gripping surfaces shall get suciently me to the cool down before geng touched.
6. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before pung on or taking o parts.
7. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
8. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.

11. Keep the device and power cable out of reach of children.
12. Keep the device and the accompanying power cable away from heat sources or sharp edges that may cause damage.
13. Keep the power cable away from parts of the device that become warm during use.
14. Keep the device away from other devices that radiate heat.
15. Never operate the device with wet hands.
16. Always disconnect the product from the mains both aer use and before cleaning or maintenance.
17. Aer use, always make sure that the device has cooled o completely before cleaning, maintaining or storing the device.

19. Unplug this device during lightning storms or when unused for a long period.

smoke, an excessive build-up of heat or any other unexpected phenomena, you should disconnect the plug from the main power socket immediately.

1. The socket outlet must be installed near the equipment and must be easily accessible.
2. Do not overload ac outlets or extension cords. Overloading can cause re or electric shock.
3. Keep away from rodents. Rodents enjoy bing on power cords.
4. Always hold the plug when pulling it out of the main supply socket. Do not pull the power cord. This can cause a short circuit. Never remove the device's plug from the wall socket by pulling at the cable; switch o and remove the plug with your hand.
5. Never remove the casing of this appliance.
6. Do not use or store this product in a place where it is subject to direct sunlight, heat, excessive dust or vibraon or an environment with a high humidity.
7. Never leave the device unaended while connected to the mains.
8. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instrucon concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. This device is not a toy. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are old than 8 and supervised.
9. The appliances are not intended to be operated by means of an external mer or separate remote-control system.

INSTALLATION

• **Unpack all parts and remove protective material.
• Do not connect the unit to the mains before checking the mains voltage and before all other connexons have been made.

USING THE STEAMER

Filling the steamer with water

1. Place the steamer on a at, leveled surface.
2. Fill the water reservoir with a measuring cup.
3. Never ll the water past MAX.
4. Place back the water reservoir cap.

WARNINGS:

1. Never ll the water reservoir when the power cord is plugged in.
2. Allow the appliance to cool for at least 5 minutes after it has been used.
3. Never add cold water to hot water. Steam may shoot out of the lling hole and cause injuries. Always let the appliance cool before adding water.

Steaming fabrics and linens

Note: The water reservoir must be lled and supplied cap aached securely before proceeding with the following steps.

1. Plug the steamer power cord into an electrical outlet. The heat indicator light will illuminate when turned on.
2. The steamer will emit steam aer approximately 1 minutes.
3. Direct the steam nozzle towards the material you wish to steam.
4. Keep the ow of steam focused on the material. Using a slight back and forth moon will further enhance the steaming process.

Cauon: Never point the steam nozzle towards your body, other people, pets or plants.

Steaming Garments

1. Place the garment on a clean hanger.
2. Begin steaming slowly from the boom to the top of the garment. The steam will rise along the inside and outside of the fabric, removing the wrinkles.
3. Periodically point the steamer away from the garment and smooth the fabric with your free hand.
4. Repeat the above steps as necessary until the garment is free of wrinkles.

Steaming Tips

1. Steaming both sides of the fabric will help to remove stubborn wrinkles.
2. Delicate fabrics need to be steamed carefully to avoid damage caused by water spong.
3. Drapery and curtains can be steamed while sll hanging.
4. Cauon should be taken while using a ladder or step ladder. Do not use a stool, chair or revolving chair.
5. To steam towels, handkerchiefs and napkins, hang them over a rod or towel holder.

Handling and Storing

1. Use dislled water to avoid mineral build-up.
2. Remove all accessories from the steamer.
3. Empty any remaining water into a sink to minimize mineral build-up.
4. Reach the water reservoir cap. Do not over ghten.
5. It is recommended to store the steamer and any supplied accessories together in the original packaging.
6. Store the steamer in a cool, dry place.

Troubleshoong

Problem	Possible Cause	Soluon
No Light on the switch.	The steamer is not plugged in.	Plug the steamer power cord into an electrical outlet.
	The household circuit breaker has been tripped; there is a blown fuse in the electrical circuit.	Reset the household circuit breaker or replace the blown fuse. Contact an electrician or your area's electrical provider.
The steamer heats up but there is no steam.	The water reservoir is empty.	Rell the water reservoir.
	There is mineral build-up in the steamer.	Remove the mineral build-up.
The steamer ow light? is ashing	There is mineral build-up in the steamer.	It is normal for the ow of the steam to stop for a few seconds. If it stays o for longer periods, check for mineral build-up.
