For your safety and continued enjoyment of this product, always read the instruction book carefully before using.
1. Important Safeguards
When using an electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:

READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING.

To protect against the risk of electrical shock, do not put motor base of blender in water or other liquids.

This appliance should not be used by or near children or individuals with certain disabilities.
-
Unplug from outlet when not in use, before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning or removing contents from blender jar or cup. Never put hands into the blender jar or cups, or handle the blades with appliance plugged in.

Avoid contact with moving parts.
-
Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions, or is dropped or damaged in any manner. Call our toll-free customer assistance number for information on examination, repair, or adjustment.

The use of attachments, including canning or ordinary jars, not recommended or sold by standard attachments may cause fire, electric shock, or risk of injury to persons.

Do not use outdoors.

Do not let cord hang over edge of counter or table or touch hot surfaces.

Keep hands and utensils out of jar while blending, to reduce the risk of severe injury to persons or damage to blender itself. A rubber or plastic spatula may be used but must be used only when the blender is turned off.

When blender is plug from outlet, do not touch cutting assembly, interfere with blade movement, or remove blender jar cover.
12. BLADES ARE SHARP. HANDLE CAREFULLY.
- To reduce the risk of injury, never place cutting assembly on base unless the blender jar, chopper cup or travel cups are properly attached.
- Always operate blender jar with the cover in place.
- Never leave your blender unattended while running.
- Twist on vessel firmly. Injury can result if moving blades accidentally become exposed.
NOTICE
If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug to reduce the risk of electric shock.
If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not modify the plug in any way.
Maximum rating of 350 watts is based on the jar attachment that draws the greatest power. Other recommended attachments may draw significantly less power.
This appliance comes with a thermal non resettable fuse feature to prevent damage to the motor in the case of extreme overload. Should the unit shut off unexpectedly, unplug it and let it cool for at least 15 minutes before continuing (see "Operating and Safety Tips").
2. Unpacking Instructions
- Place the gift box containing appliance on a flat, sturdy surface before unpacking.
- Remove instruction booklet and other printed materials from top of packaging material. Next remove top pulp tray.
- Carefully lift blender base from box and set aside.
- Remove blender jar, chopping cup and travel cups and set aside.
- Before using for the first time: Wash all parts according to the Cleaning and Maintenance section of this booklet to remove any dust or residue.
- To assemble the blender, follow the Assembly instructions of this instruction booklet. Replace all packaging materials in the box and save the box for repackaging.
3. Assembly
After washing all parts, please see below for assembly. Place base on flat surface and plug in.
Blender Jar operation
- With the base unit on the tabletop and unit plugged in, place the blender jar assembled with the blade assembly onto the base and secure into place.

Travel cup operation
- Put food ingredients into the travel cup, and then attach blade assembly.
- Note: Blade assemblies are interchangeable based on recipes and desired end results.
- With the base unit on the tabletop and the unit plugged in, place the assembled travel cup onto the base and secure into place.
- For continuous blending, choose the desired speed (1or2).
- To pause the blending process, rotate the speed button (P).
- When you have finished blending, rotate the speed button to 0 modes. Remove the travel cup from the base. Unplug the unit.
- Turn cup right side up, turn blade assembly counterclockwise to remove. Attach travel cup lid by twisting clockwise.
Operating and Safety tips
Make sure the electrical outlet is rated at the same voltage as that stated on the bottom of the blender motor base.
Always use the blender on a clean, sturdy and dry surface.
Always operate the blender jar with the cover on. Place cover on firmly. Keep the blender jar cover on the blender jar while blending.
- Don't put hands inside the blender jar when blender is plugged in.
- Don't remove blender jar or cups while unit is running.
- Don't place blade assembly onto motor base without the jar or cup attached.
Make sure blade assembly is tightly attached to jar or cups.
Always remove blade assembly before cleaning.
- Don't twist blade assembly from blender jar or cups when removing from motor base. Simply lift jar or cups from motor base.
Use a rubber or plastic spatula as needed, only when the blender is turned off. Do not use any utensil inside the blender while motor is on.
- Never use metal utensils, as damage may occur to the jar, cup or cutting assembly.
CAUTION: Handle the blade assemblies carefully. They are SHARP and may cause injury. DO NOT aempt to remove blades from cung assembly.
Wash all parts in warm, soapy water; rinse and dry thoroughly. All parts are top rack dishwasher safe.
Tip: You may wish to clean your blending and chopper cung assemblies as follows: squirt a small amount of dishwashing liquid into blender jar or cups and Il halfway with warm water. Aach blade assembly. Run on 1 for 15 seconds. Repeat, using clean tap water. Carefully disassemble parts and empty blender jar or cups. Rinse and dry all parts thoroughly.
Finally, wipe the motor base clean with a damp cloth to remove any residue, and dry thoroughly. Never submerge the motor base in water or other liquids, or place in a dishwasher.
Any other servicing should be performed by an authorized service representative.
5. Troubleshooting

When this happens, to reset the appliance unplug the unit and let it cool for a minimum of 15 minutes. Then, reduce the contents of the blender jar and/or clear any jams. Restart the unit as noted in the operang direcons. |

Smoothies
Smoothies are the new health trend. They consist of whole fruits that have been blended into a puree. The fruit juice gives them a creamy yet sll liquid consistency. Genuine smoothies have no addives and are made using fresh fruits only.
They are ideal for anyone who does not have the me to eat sucent fruit or vegetables. Drinking your daily dose of vitamins is quicker than peeling and cooking carrots.
Home-made smoothies not only taste delicious, they are also very healthy, particularly if they are made with organic fruit.
Supper is a good me to enjoy them as there is a wide range of fresh fruit on the market.
Berries, for instance, give smoothies a wonderful aroma and color, which children nd peculiarly appealing as well. In the winter exoc fruits like pineapple or mango add a delicateavor to local-grown apples and pears.
Experiment and nd your own favorite smoothie mixture. Some prefer their smoothie creamy and banana-thick, others a lile lighter in texture.

Smoothie exoc
Smoothe ingredients:
- Lime, peeled, diced, without pips
- Kiwi, mango, pineapple and banana
- Ice cubes
Preparao
Wash and peel the lime, kiwi's, mango, pineapple and banana and dice them. Place all the ingredients and the ice cubes in the jar and blend to a smoothie. Serve immediately.
TIP: try this refreshing smoothie with ice cubes on hot summer days.
Summer smoothie
Smoothie ingredients:
Raspberries, frozen
Grapefruit, egg liqueur and forest honey
Preparao
Place the frozen raspberries in the jar. Add the grapefruit (peeled and diced). Then add the egg liqueur and honey to taste. Blend.
Smoothie with red fruits
Smoothie ingredients:
- Strawberries (frozen), raspberries and red currants
Cinnamon, sugar -
Milk, 0.5% fat

Preparao
Wash the fruit and remove the stalks. Add all the ingredients to the jar and blend well. Serve ice cold in a cocktail glass with a mint leaf.
Vitamin smoothie
Smoothe ingredients:
Medium-sized carrot, peeled
- Orange, peeled, apple and pear
Cold-pressed olive oil
Honey
Preparao
Dice the apple, orange, pear and carrot and place in the jar. Add the olive oil andbkend well. Add honey if a sweeter taste is desired.
Cherry smoothie
Smoothe ingredients:
- Fresh cherries
- Vanilla yoghurt
- Milk

Preparaon
Wash the cherries under the tap and remove the stones. Then place all the ingredients into the jar and blend.
Tip: chill the smoothie for about half an hour in the fridge before drinking.
Smoothie light
Smoothe ingredients:
- Fresh peaches
- Plain yoghurt
Sugar or honey according to taste
Preparaon
Wash the peaches, remove the stones, and halve them. Then add all the ingredients to the jar and blend. Your guests will be amazed how fresh and fruity this vitamin drink tastes.
The yellow vitamin smoothie
Smoothie ingredients:
- Pineapple, mango, apple and orange
- Germ oil and ice cubes
Preparaon
Peel the pineapple and dice it. Also peel the mango and cut it in pieces, dice the apple and orange (peeled) and then blend all the ingredients in the jar together with ice cubes. Drink immediately.
Dessert-smoothie
Smoothe ingredients:
- Cantaloupe, diced
Honeydew melon, diced - Water melon, diced
Orange juice - Ice cubes
Preparaon
Peel the melons, remove the pips, dice them and place in the freezer to chill. Then add the melon together with the ice cubes and orange juice to the jar and blend unl smooth. Serve immediately in a tall glass.
Breakfast smoothie
Smoothie ingredients:
- Fresh strawberries, peach, ripe banana
- Vanilla yoghurt
Milk and sugar
Preparao
Wash the fruit under the tap and peel the banana. Then place all ingredients into the jar, switch on and blend. Ready!
Vegetable smoothie
Smoothie ingredients:
- Carrot, stalk celery and red bell pepper
- Shallot, potatoes, boiled
- Lemon juice and tomato juice
- Ice cubes, Tabasco, salt and pepper
Preparaon
Blend all ingredients in the jug. Add Tabasco, salt and pepper to taste and serve garnished with celery.
Breakfast smoothie II
Smoothie ingredients:
Ripe peach, ripe banana, wheat germ
-Instant oat akes
- Vanilla yoghurt
- Fresh orange juice
- Crushed ice cubes
Preparaon
Blend all the ingredients thoroughly in the jar and serve immediately. Skimmed milk can be used instead of orange juice. A smoothie tastes best with crushed ice.
Cucumber smoothie
Smoothie ingredients:
- Cucumber, celery stalk
- Archoke hearts (canned or jarred)
- Green pepper
-Lime - Lile cress
-Tabasco,salt - Ice cubes
Preparaon
Peel the cucumber and remove the seeds. Dice the cucumber, celery and archoke hearts and add to the jug. Blend well with the green pepper, crushed ice and the juice from the lime. Add Tabasco and salt to taste when serving. Garnish with cress and lime slices.
