How to set the time on the Royal 24100 machine?

To set the time, press the hour (20) and minute (16) setting buttons repeatedly until the correct time appears on the LED display. The device uses a 24-hour format.

How to use the timer function (delayed programming)?

Follow steps 1 to 6 of the user manual to prepare the machine. Press the timer function button (17) until the program indicator flashes. Set the desired start time with the hour (20) and minute (16) buttons. Press the timer button again to confirm. The machine will start automatically at the programmed time.

How to adjust coffee strength?

Before starting the machine, press the extra strength button (19) on the control panel. Then press the On/Off button (18) to start brewing. The coffee will be stronger.

What to do if the machine does not turn on?

Check that the plug is properly inserted and that the voltage matches the one indicated on the appliance. Make sure the water tank is in place and the lid is closed. If the problem persists, contact customer service.

How to clean the coffee machine?

Unplug the appliance and let it cool down. Clean the exterior with a damp cloth. The glass carafe, filter funnel, and water tank can be washed with soapy water. Never immerse the machine body in water. Descale regularly with white vinegar.

Why is the coffee flowing slowly?

Slow flow may be due to a filter that is too fine or too much ground coffee. Check that you are using a suitable filter and that the grind is not too fine. Descaling can also improve the flow.

Can I use already brewed ground coffee?

No, it is not recommended to use used coffee grounds. Always use fresh ground coffee for a quality beverage and to avoid damaging the machine.

Does the hot plate stay on after the machine stops?

Yes, after the cycle ends, the hot plate stays hot for 40 minutes to keep the coffee warm, then the machine shuts off automatically.

What is the maximum capacity of the water tank?

The water tank has a maximum capacity of 1.5 liters, or 12 cups. Do not exceed the MAX mark on the level indicator.

How to start the Royal 24100 machine?

After filling the water tank, placing a filter with ground coffee, and positioning the glass carafe, press the On/Off button (18) to start brewing. The machine stops automatically at the end of the cycle.

Please read all safety regulations carefully before using the product.

1. This appliance is intended for use in households and similar areas, any professional usage is considered to be improper use and may result in personal injury or damage to property. Trebs is not liable for damage caused by improper use.
2. Never submerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
3. Check if the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds to the local mains voltage before you connect the appliance.
4. Do not use the appliance if the plug, main cord or the appliance itself is damaged.
5. Regularly check the cable for any damage. If the cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or supplier. The cable may only be repaired by a qualified person to prevent dangerous situations.
6. No parts of this appliance may be replaced by the user.
7. When in operation, or directly afterwards some parts including the water tank may be hot. Steam may erupt when opening the water tank lid. Always allow to device to cool down before re-using the device.
8. This product is not suitable for children younger than 8 years old.
9. This product is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities, or with a lack of knowledge and experience, unless they're under the supervision of or have received instructions regarding the device from a person responsible for their safety.
10. Do not place the appliance on a hot surface and do not let the mains cord come into contact with hot surfaces.
11. Always unplug the appliance when problems occur and during cleaning.
12. Don't use any electrical extension cord for this appliance.
13. Always make sure the appliance is positioned safely on a flat surface before operation.
14. Do not touch the glas iug, heating plate, water nozzle or filter funnel while in operation, these areas are hot.
15. Do not use the glas jug in the microwave or oven.
16. Always use cold water to make coffee.

Check if all accessories are complete and undamaged.

The Trebs coffeemaker comes with a digital led time indicator (24 hours). The time can be adjusted by repeatedly pressing the Hour setting (20) and Minute setting (16) until the correct time is displayed.

Flus the coffeemaker 2 times before use by filling the water tank to 12 cups with water, insert the power plug and allow the coffeemaker to operate by pressing the On / Off touch button (18). This will clear out any remaining debris in the coffeemaker.

OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS

1. Make sure the device is clean, placed on a straight surface and plugged in.
2. Fill the Glass jug (3) with water using the cup indication on the glass jug.
3. Open the water tank lid (7) and pour the needed water from the Glass jug (3) into the water tank (8), while keeping an eye on the Water tank indicator (9) not to exceed MAX.
4. Fill the removable filter funnel (1) with a fitting coffee filter.
5. Add the necessary amount of ground coffee to the coffee filter.
6. Make sure the removable filter funnel (1) is placed in the correct position within the Coffee maker, the Water tank lid is closed (7) and the Glass jug (3) is placed correctly between the warming plate (10) and the Drip stop (2).
7. When ready push the On / Off button (18) to start operation.
8. After operation, the coffee maker will remain active for 40 minutes before the device is automatically turned off. During this period the warming plate (10) will remain hot.
   The coffee maker can also be turned off manually by pressing the On / Off button (18) once.

COFFEE STRENGHT ADJUSTMENT

The Trebs 24100 Coffeemaker is equipped with a special function that adds extra strength to the coffee.

To use this function, follow steps 1 through 6 of the "Operation instructions".

Before pressing the On / Off button (18) to start operation (step 7), press the strength button (19) on the control panel. Start operation by pressing the On / Off button (18).

TIMER PROGRAM

The Trebs 24100 coffeemaker is equipped with a delay program function, which allows a pre plan working schedule. Using the current time, the user can plan a scheduled operation within a 24 hour limit.

1. Follow steps 1 through 6 of the "Operation instruction" description to prepare the coffee maker for delayed (timer) function.
2. Press the Delay program function (17) and check if the Program indicator (13) is blinking.
3. Set the delayed operation starting time by repeatedly pressing the Hour setting (20) and Minute setting (16) until the required starting time is displayed
4. Set the starting time by once pressing the Delay program function (17) and check if the Program indicator (13) is continuously visible.
5. The Delay program function is now active and will automatically begin operation at the set time. Once operations begins, the On/Off indicator on the control panel will light up.

Note: During operation the Minute setting (16), Hour setting (20) and Delay program function (17) are inactive, operation must be stopped through the On / Off button (18) before changes can be made.

DISCARDING OLD EQUIPMENT

Old electric and electronic devices often contain valuable materials. However, they also contain harmful substances that were necessary for their functionality and safety. If these are placed with the non-recyclable waste or disposed of incorrectly, they can be harmful to human health and the environment. Never place your device with the non-recyclable waste.

REMARK

• Use the collection points available in your community and recycle old electric and electronic devices. Contact your town hall, the local waste disposal company or your dealer for more information.
• Make sure that your old device, until it's picked up, is safely stored out of reach of children.

GARANTIE

• We provide a warranty of 24 months for this product. The warranty starts on the date of purchase and is intended for faults due to production or the used materials.
• Your statutory warranty rights in accordance with § 439 ff. BGB-E will remain unaffected by this.
• The warranty does not apply to damages as a result of improper handling or use, nor to malfunctions that only have a minor effect on the functionality or value of the product. Normal wear and tear, transport damage, to the extent that we are not responsible for this, as well as damages caused by repairs not performed by us, are also excluded from the warranty rights.

- This device is designed for household use and has the right performance levels.

- Any use in commercial situations is only covered by the warranty if the device is not put under a heavier strain that in a household situation. The device is not intended for additional commercial use.

- In the case of well-founded complaints, we will repair the defective device at our discretion or replace it with a device that shows no problems.

All possible manufacturing faults must be reported within 14 days of delivery. All further claims are excluded. When invoking the warranty, please contact us first before sending us the product (you must always provide us with proof of purchase).
