How to mute the microphone?

Press the mute button on the headset cable to mute the sound. Press again to unmute.

How to adjust the headset volume?

Use the volume control wheel on the cable. Turn it up or down to increase or decrease the volume.

The headset produces no sound, what should I do?

Make sure the 3.5 mm jack connectors are properly plugged into the headphone and microphone jacks of your device. Also ensure the volume is not muted in the operating system and in the application being used.

How to use the headset with a game console?

The Logitech G130 headset is compatible with consoles that have a 3.5 mm jack (e.g., Xbox One, PS4). Simply plug the connectors into the corresponding ports on the controller or console.

The microphone doesn't work, how can I test it?

Make sure the microphone is properly plugged into the microphone jack of your computer. Check the audio settings of your operating system and select the headset as the default recording device. Test with another device if possible.

How to clean the headset?

Use a soft dry cloth to wipe the ear cups and headband. Do not use chemicals or water. Avoid cleaning the microphone openings.

The cable is too long, how can I shorten it?

The headset is equipped with an integrated cable management system. Wrap the excess cable around the headset or use the provided clip to secure it.

Can I replace the ear pads?

The ear pads are not designed to be replaced. If worn out, it is recommended to contact Logitech support for advice.

Is the headset compatible with Mac?

Yes, the Logitech G130 works with Macs equipped with a combined 3.5 mm jack. You can directly plug the single connector (if your Mac has one) or use an adapter if necessary.

How to know if the microphone is muted?

The mute button is located on the cable. When the microphone is muted, you may hear a mechanical click or see an indicator (depending on the version). Refer to the manual for details.

Try the headset

Play a PC game, listen to music, or make an Internet call. If the headset doesn't work, you may need to specify the headset as the default audio output/input device for your operating system. Also refer to the troubleshooting section of this guide for additional troubleshooting ideas.

1. Go to Start/Control Panel/Sounds and Audio devices/Audio tab.
2. Choose your sound card.
3. Click OK.
4. Select the Voice tab.
5. Select your sound card
6. Click OK.
7. Restart your media application.

Windows® Vista and Windows® 7

1. Go to Start/Control Panel/Sounds/Playback Devices tab.
2. Choose your sound card.
3. Click OK.
4. Go to the Recording devices tab.
5. Select your sound card
6. Click OK.
7. Restart your media application.

Troubleshooting

Something not sound right? No sound at all? Microphone not working?

• Check the headset cable connection. The 3.5 mm headset connectors plug into the headphone jack and microphone jack on your computer.
• Adjust the volume and microphone settings to an audible level in both your application and operating system.

• Quit and restart your PC game or media application.

• Make sure the headset is the active input/output audio device in both your application and operating system. For more information, see Try the headset.

• Try using the headset with another computer, or try connecting the headset to a portable music player to make sure the ear cups are working.
