CORRECT POSITIONING
Ventilation
For easy heat dissipation, low power consumption and maximum efficiency, the refrigerator should be kept in a well ventilated area. There should be space of at least 100mm around the refrigerator and at least 200mm clear of the roof. There should be enough space to allow the door to open 160 degrees.

Power Supply
The refrigerator is only applied with power supply of single phase alternating current of (220-240)V\~/50Hz; 230V\~/60Hz. If fluctuation of voltage in the district user is of so large that the voltage exceeds the above scope, for safety sake, be sure to apply a.c. automatic voltage regulator to the refrigerator. The refrigerator must employ a special power socket instead of common one with other electric appliances. Its plug must match the socket with ground wire.

text_image
(+220~240V~ ±10% 50Hz 230V~ ±10% 60HzPower Cord
The cord should never be lengthened or folded or allowed to coil during operation. The cord should never be kept close to the compressor or at the back of the refrigerator as the surface temperature is always high when operating. Any contact of the cord with the compressor could damage the insulation or cause leakage.

natural_image
Cartoon illustration of a smiling book character with a thought bubble showing electrical symbols (no text or labels)Protection from Moisture
Avoid placing the unit in a wet or damp area as moisture would cause rust on metal parts. Never spray the unit directly with water as this would result in poor insulation and may cause current leakage.

Protection from Heat
The refrigerator should be far away from any heat source or direct sunshine.

natural_image
Cartoon illustration of a smiling pot with steam rising from its side (no text or symbols)Fixing Stable
Floor on which refrigerator will be placed must be flat and solid. It should not be laid on any soft material such as foam plastic, etc. If the refrigerator is not on the same level, adjust the screws accordingly. The refrigerator should not be placed near anything which may echo.

natural_image
Cartoon illustration of a computer monitor with arms and legs, showing a sad face and rotation arrow (no text or symbols)Keep Away from Danger
Do not place the refrigerator near any volatile or combustible elements like gas, petrol, alcohol, lacquer and banana oil. These should not be stored in the refrigerator at all.

natural_image
Cartoon illustration of a smiling book character with arms and legs, next to a small object (no text or symbols)Moving
When fixed or moved, the refrigerator can not be set horizontally or declined to more than 45° or upside-down.

natural_image
Cartoon illustration of a person holding a large rectangular object with arms and legs, standing on a platform (no text or symbols)OPERATION
- Clean the refrigerator thoroughly. Wipe the outside with a soft dry cloth and the interior with a clean moist cloth.
- Insert the plug into a power socket.
- Turn the thermostat dial to "5" or "low". Close the door and let the refrigerator operate for 15 to 20 minutes.
- When the refrigerator works with full power, the two LED's on the circuit board will flash. The red one shows the power input status. The green one shows the output status of the cooling system. Meanwhile the fan inside the refrigerator begins to work. When the door is opened, the light under the temperature adjustor will turn on automatically.
- To control the internal temperature, adjust the thermostat. Position "high" is the warmest, setting "low" is the coldest. The temperature range for the refrigerator is between 5-15°C. When the temperature is set on a certain point and the temperature inside reaches this point, the automatic temperature control system begins to work and the cooling system goes into linear temperature keeping status.
Note: if you have unplugged the refrigerator, wait 3-5 minutes before restarting it. The unit may fail to operate properly if restarted too quickly.
COOLING SPEED
The temperature inside can be cooled to 5^ C within 2 hours (if the unit is empty). When the temperature control is adjusted, the temperature will be balanced again in a certain period, depending on how big the change in temperature is and on the ambient temperature.
FOOD STORAGE
1 to 2 hours after plugging in the appliance, the refrigerator is adequately cooled and food can be stored. The refrigerating temperature of the thermoelectric cooler is 5-15°C.
MAINTENANCE
- Unplug the appliance before cleaning.
• Never use any harsh, abrasive cleaners, heavy-duty cleaners or solvents on any surface. - Wipe the exterior with a damp, sudsy cloth, then rinse and dry. For stubborn stains and for periodic waxing, use silicon wax.
- Wash the shelves and other removable parts in warm sudsy water, rinse and dry. Wash the interior with baking soda solution (3 tablespoons to 1 litre of water) or warm sudsy water, rinse and dry.
- Wash the magnetic door seals with warm sudsy water.
- Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
- Replace all parts, insert the plug into a power socket and turn the thermostat dial to the desired setting.

TROUBLESHOOTING
-
When the refrigerator is not in use for a prolonged period of time:
-
Remove the power plug from the power supply.
- Remove all contents from the refrigerator.
Dry the interior and leave the door open for a few days.
-
When you wish to move the refrigerator:
-
Secure all movable parts and contents (and pack them separately if necessary).
-
Transport the refrigerator only in an upright position.
-
If the refrigerator seems to warm inside:
-
Check that the door has not been opened too frequently or for a long period.
- Check that the interior circulation is not obstructed by having too many goods stored (the refrigerator is overloaded).
- Has anything hot been stored, without having it cooled to room temperature first?
-
Is there sufficient clearance around and above the refrigerator?
-
If the refrigerator starts making any unusual noises:
-
Is it wobbling? Re-level it and check if it now operates normally.
- Have any objects fallen behind the refrigerator? If so, remove them and check if operation is now normal.
-
Are any containers inside the refrigerator vibrating or resonating? If so, rearrange them then check to see if operation has returned to normal.
-
If the light inside flashes:
- The set temperature is higher than the inner temperature. The automatic defrost function is starting to work.
PROTECTION OF THE ENVIRONMENT – DIRECTIVE 2002/96/EC
