Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance.

☐ Never use the appliance near inflammable or explosive materials.
☐ Do not cover the appliance in order to avoid any risk of fire.
☐ Hazards may occur, for instance when touching the radiator or knocking it over, or as a result of inappropriate positioning. No responsibility is accepted if damage results from improper use, or if these instructions are not complied with.
□ Always switch off and remove the plug from the wall socket after use, and also in case of any malfunction and before cleaning. Do not attempt to remove the plug from the wall socket with wet hands.
☐ This radiator is filled with a precise quantity of special oil. Any repairs requiring the opening of the oil container are to be made by the manufacturer or its authorized service agent. They also should be contacted if oil leaking.

☐ When scrapping the appliance, all regulations concerning the disposal of oil should be followed.

CONNECTION TO THE MAINS SUPPLY

The radiator should only be connected to an earthed socket installed in accordance with the regulations.

Make sure that the supply voltage corresponds with the voltage marked on the rating label (230V (AC)) and the rated electric current is not lower than 10A.

ASSEMBLY

Before using the radiator for the first time, the wheels must be fitted to the unit and then secured with the wing nuts provided.

  • Turn the heater upside down.
  • Position the two wheels base between the end fins.
  • Attach them to the heater using the U-hook and wing nuts.
  • Fasten the wing nuts.
  • Turn the heater the right way around.

THE HEATER MUST NOT BE USED WITHOUT ITS WHEELS.

When the appliance is switched on for the first time, a slight smell may be emitted. Please ensure sufficient ventilation.

OPERATION

  1. Select the power by pressing the buttons of the power selector. It has 3 different positions:

I = reduced power II = medium power . | + | = full power ) 0 = OFF

  1. Turn the thermostat clockwise to increase the temperature and anticlockwise to reduce it. The pilot light will turn on indicating that the appliance is heating. During use, the pilot light will come on and off. It will turn off as soon as the set temperature is reached.

  2. If you want to switch off your appliance, turn off the two switches (thermostat knob to "MIN" position and power selector to "0"), remove the plug from the power supply and place it in its storage location. CAUTION: YOUR APPLIANCE WILL REMAIN HOT FOR A FEW MINUTES.

  3. To move your appliance, take it by its handle, raise it and roll it.

OVERHEAT PROTECTION

Your appliance is fitted with two safety devices: the first one switches off the appliance automatically in case of overheat. In this case, unplug the appliance, wait about 10 minutes for it to cool. Then switch it back on as described above. The appliance should operate normally. Should the problem persist, please contact the nearest customer service. The second safety device disconnects the appliance in case of overheating by means of a thermo fuse. When serious overheat occurs, the overheat fuse will automatically break and cut the power, which can prevent the devices from damage and avoid fires. If this overheat fuse breaks, it should be replaced by a competent qualified service.

GENERAL CLEANING AND CARE

  • Before cleaning the appliance, ensure it is disconnected from the power supply and has cooled down completely.
  • Do not clean the radiator with water and do not immerse it.
    • The housing may be wiped with a slightly damp, lint-fee cloth.
