z Only connect the device as follows:
– With the cable supplied to the cigarette lighter in the vehicle (see fig. 3,

220-240 V AC mains power supply.
z Do not pull the plug out of the cigarette lighter or the socket by the cable.
z If the connection cable is damaged, it must be replaced to prevent
possible electrical hazards.
z Do not operate the device if it is visibly damaged.
z This device may only be repaired by qualified personnel. Inadequate
repairs can lead to considerable hazards.
z Pull out the connection cable:
– Before cleaning and maintenance
z Ensure that the ventilation slots are not covered.
z On boats: if the device is powered by the mains, ensure that the power
supply has a ground fault interrupter circuit. Danger of fatal injuries!
z Disconnect the cooling device and other power consuming devices from
the battery before connecting the quick charging device.
z Check that the voltage specification on the type plate corresponds to that
of the energy supply.
z The cooling device is not suitable for transporting caustic materials or
materials containing solvents.

2.2 Operating the device safely
z Before starting the device, ensure that the power supply line and the plug
z Do not place the device near naked flames or other heat sources
(heaters, direct sunlight, gas ovens etc.).
z Do not fill the inner container with ice or fluid.
z Never immerse the device in water.
z Protect the device and the cable against heat and moisture.
z Do not touch exposed cables with your bare hands. This especially
applies when operating the device with the AC mains: danger of fatal
z MOBICOOL cannot be held liable for damage resulting from improper
usage or incorrect operation.
Before starting the device check if all of the parts belonging to the scope of
delivery are present.

1 Connection cable for cigarette lighter
The cooler is suitable for cooling foodstuffs. The device is also suitable for

The handle has a locking function, which means that the lid will only open
when the handle is folded all the way back.
When opening the lid, make sure that the lugs on the side of it
audibly and completely latch into the handle, which is folded all the
way back, in order to prevent the lid from snapping shut.
5 Technical description
The cooler is suitable for mobile use. It can cool down or keep products cool
up to max. 20 °C below ambient temperature.
Its cooling system is a non-wearing and CFC-free Peltier cooling, the heat is
discharged by a fan.
5.1 Description of the device
Your cooler consists of the following parts (see fig. 5, page 4):

Before starting your new cooling device for the first time, you
should clean it inside and outside with a damp cloth for hygienic
reasons (please also refer to the “Cleaning and maintenance”
chapter on page 10).

6.2 Using the cooler
➤ Place the cooler on a firm base.
As is the case with every fridge, your cool box must be well venti-
lated so that the heat which is withdrawn may also be carried off,
otherwise it is not possible for the equipment to function properly.
➤ Connect the 12 V connection cable (see fig. 3, page 3, item 1) to the
cigarette lighter or a 12 V socket in your vehicle or ...
➤ Connect the 220-240 V connection cable
(see fig. 3, page 3, item 2) to the 220-240 V AC mains supply.
Close the cooler by pushing down the lid and turning the handle
✓ After a certain period of time, the temperature inside the container will
cool down by up to max. approx. 20 °C.
Ensure that the objects placed in the cooler are suitable for
cooling/warming to the selected temperature.

7 Cleaning and maintenance
Before cleaning the cooler, pull the cable out of the socket or the
