1. Please read the following instruc-

tions and keep them on hand for later reference.

2. This appliance is not intended for

use by persons (including child- ren) with limited physical, sensory or mental abilities or with lack of experience or limited knowledge, unless they are supervised by a person who is responsible for their safety or have been instructed on how to use the appliance.

3. Children should be supervised to

ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

4. Connect appliance only to an AC

power supply with voltage as spe- cified on the rating plate.

5. Do not operate this appliance with

an external timer or remote con- trol system.

6. Do not immerse the appliance in

7. For safety reasons never use the

appliance in the vicinity of a bath tub or sink filled with water, or in the vicinity of other vessels filled with water.

not come into contact with hot parts.

9. To unplug the appliance, only pull

on the plug, never pull directly on the power cord.

10. Always ensure that the power cord

is laid out its entire length to pre- vent damage due to overheating.

11. As additional protection, we

recommend installation of a resi- dual current device (RCD/FI) with a tripping characteristic of not more than 30 mA in the bathroom power circuit. Consult with your electrician.

12. The appliance is intended for

household use only; it is not desig- ned for commercial requirements.

13. Do not use the appliance out-

space between the appliance and walls and other flammable objects such as curtains.

15. Do not operate the appliance in

the vicinity of heat sources.

16. Ensure that the air intake grille in

the appliance is unobstructed at all times. Clean the air inlet grille at regular intervals.

the air outlet opening with your hand or other objects.

similar items in your hear, ensure that they do not project more than 10 mm, to avoid contact with energised parts of the hair dryer.

air flow directly at your face.

21. Do not use any hair sprays while

the appliance is in operation.

an overheating protection circuit. If operated for too long, the appli- ance switches off automatically to prevent damage to the appliance. After an appropriate cool-down time, you can place the appliance in service again.

25. As long as the plug is in the elec-

30. Check the plug and the power

cord regularly for wear or damage. In case of damage to the power cord or other parts, please send the appliance for inspection and/ or repair to our customer service organisation (for address, see warranty terms). Unauthorised repairs can result in serious risks to the user and will void the war- ranty.

31. If the power cord of this appliance

is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or by the manufacturer’s customer service organisation, or by a person with similar qualifications, to prevent hazards. Caution! The appliance is very hot during and after operation! Never open the housing of the appliance. There is danger of electric shock.1. Ensure that the on/off switch is on “0”.

For safety reasons never use the appliance close to or in a bathtub or washbasin or any other container filled with water. If the hair dryer is used in a bathroom, unplug it from the wall socket after use, since nearby water presents a danger even when the hair dryer is switched off. InStallIng the Wall holDer oPeratIon

1. Caution: If you want to install the

wall holder in damp rooms, such as bathrooms, ensure that there is an adequate distance to the bathtub, sink and other vessels filled with water. The distance in this regard must be at least 1.5 meters to ensure safe operation.

2. First check whether an electrical

outlet is within reach at the desi- red installation location.

3. Attach the wall holder with three

screws. If necessary use dowel plugs to securely attach the wall holder. Please use the attached drill template for easy installation.

4. Note: at the back of the wall hol-

der there is a small tab. If you mount it first with a screw on the wall, you can simply mount the wall holder and then secure it with the other two screws on the right and the left hole.18 WaSte DISPoSal / envIronmental ProtectIon Our appliances are produced on a high quality level for a long lifetime. Within the warranty period we will remedy defective materials or workmanship through repair or replacement, at our option. Our warranty terms apply only to appliances sold in Germany and Austria. For other countries, please contact the responsible importer. In the event of a claim for remedy of defects, please send the appliance to our after sales service, properly packaged and postage paid, together with a copy of the automatically generated sales receipt, which must show the date of purchase, and a description of the defect. If the defect is covered by the warranty, the customer will be reimbursed for the shipping costs. The warranty does not cover damage from normal wear, improper handling and failure to comply with the maintenance and care instructions. The warranty is void if repairs or modifications are made to the appliance by third parties. Any claims of the end consumer vis-à-vis the retailer are not limited by this warranty. Storage

twisted, please untwist it imme- diately, otherwise damage can occur inside the power cord.

5. Take off the air inlet grille. To do

this, turn it counter-clockwise and take off the grille. Remove dust and lint from the grille, if neces- sary you can use a paintbrush or a small brush to do this. Then, rein- sert the air inlet grille and turn it clockwise until it locks in place.

6. Wipe off the appliance with a dry/
