Coffe Maker Instructions Manual

Quality, ease of use and design are the basis on which all of our products are developed. We hope that you will enjoy your new NGS Home electrical appliance.

Read the instructions and warnings contained in this manual carefully and keep them for future reference. This manual contains important operating and safety instructions for the installation, maintenance and use of the product.

NGS Home reserves the right to make any technical or manufacturing modifi cations it deems appropriate, without the need for prior notifi cation.

This appliance should only be used for the purpose for which it has been expressly designed, in other words, as a toaster. Any other use shall be deemed to be improper and therefore dangerous. NGS Home shall not be liable for any possible damage resulting from improper or incorrect use, in other words, use of the product which is not in accordance with these instructions for use.

Safety Precautions

• Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance.
• To protect against electrical hazards, do not immerse the cord, plug, or appliance itself in water or other liquids.
• Make sure your mains voltage corresponds to that specified on the appliance before plugging in.
• Never leave the appliance unsupervised when in use. Keep out of reach of children or incompetent persons.
• Only use the appliance for household purposes and in the way indicated in these instructions.
• Never use the appliance near hot surfaces.
• Make sure the cord never comes into contact with the hot parts of the appliance.
• The appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been

given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

• Unplug unit from outlet when not in use and before cleaning.
• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions, or has been damaged in any manner, return appliance to the nearest authorized service agent for examination, repair or adjustment.
• Do not use coffee maker with a damaged outlet.
• Never use the appliance outdoors and always place it in a dry environment.
• Never move the appliance by pulling the cord. Make sure the cord cannot get caught in any way. Do not wind the cord around the appliance and do not bend it.
• Stand the appliance on a stable, fl at surface.

• Only use fresh and cold water. Do not use water contained in bathtubs, washbasins or other reservoirs.
• Never touch the hot parts of the appliance (be careful, also the warming plate is a hot part!), only touch the plastic parts and the jug by the handle.
• Be careful not to get burned by the steam evaporating from the coffee filter.
• Never use accessories which are not recommended by the producer. They could constitute a danger to the user and risk to damage the appliance.
• Never use the appliance if the jug shows any signs of cracks.

• Handle with care as the glass is very fragile if the appliance equipped with a glass jug. Never place the empty (or almost empty) glass jug on the hotplate when the coffee maker is in function, or on any other hot surfaces.

• Never use your coffee maker without water in it. If you have a programmable coffee maker, make sure to fi ll it with water before programming it.
  Always turn any control to "off" before unplugging from the outlet.

• Do not forget that the temperature of the coffee prepared is high. Handle with care your jug to avoid any risk of splashes.
• Keep the machine above 0 otherwise any water in the machine will freeze and cause damage.
• Never use when water overflows.
• Make sure cool down before cleaning or storing the appliance.
• Save this instruction for future use.

Operation

1. Uncover the top lid and fi II in fresh cold water to required level.
2. Put adequate quantity of coffee power or tea leaves into the fi liter or fi liter paper inside the fi liter cone.
3. Turn the sprinkler to point the center of fi liter or fi filter paper.
4. Close the top lid.
5. Place the jug on the warm plate or jug stand.
6. Switch on the appliance by pressing the On/Off switch, the indicator lamp will light up and now the appliance starts to work.

1) To obtain lighter coffee, turn the aroma regulator to position.
2) To obtain stronger coffee, turn the aroma regulator to position

Use the aroma regulator can obtain the coffee stronger or lighter.

1. After brewing, the appliance will shut off automatically and the warm plate or vacuum jug will keep the coffee or tea warm at:

1) Above 75^ in half an hour.
2) Above 68^ in an hour.

Maintenance and cleaning

• Do not forget to remove the plug from the socket before cleaning the appliance.
• Wipe outside with soft, dry cloth when appliance is cold down completely, never use metal polish.
• The detachable parts should be washed in hot soapy water, rinse and dry them before reassembling.
• Clean the fi lter and jug.
• Clean the appliance about every 5 months so as to keep high efficiency.
• Store the appliance in a dry and not very hot place.

This product is guaranteed by Lurbe Grup S.A. in accordance with the legal guarantee in Spain covered by Act 23/2003, of 10 July, on the sale of consumer goods and associated guarantees. This guarantee shall only be valid within the territory of the European Union and exclusively in relation to the aforementioned appliance. In other countries, the guarantee will be granted in accordance with the provisions of the law in each case.

This guarantee does not affect the rights granted to consumers by virtue of the aforementioned Act but provides other advantages in addition to their statutory rights.

Consumers are entitled to have any defective item replaced by a new one provided that any damage to the NGS Home product is not due to improper use, uses other than those described in this manual, repairs carried out by non-specialised staff, deterioration of the product due to external agents such as lime or other harmful, chemical, clogging or corrosive products, inadequate maintenance or lack of cleaning.

NGS Home shall not accept any liability for possible damage suffered directly or indirectly by people, things or animals due to non-compliance with the instructions included in the instructions manual, particularly those concerning the warnings relating to the use and maintenance of the product.

NGS Home guarantees this product for two years from the date of purchase, which shall be verified by means of the corresponding invoice, receipt or delivery note.

The statutory period for any claim for compliance with the provisions of this guarantee shall lapse six months after the guarantee period ends.
