4 Starting up for the first time

When starting the appliance for the first time, please carry out the following steps.

When you have completed these steps, the appliance is ready for operation. You can now prepare coffee.

We recommend pouring away the first two cups of coffee after the first start up.

4.1 Placement

  • Place the appliance on a stable, level, and dry surface. Ensure that there is a distance of 10cm to the wall and other objects.
  • The Melitta® CAFFEO® SOLO®&perfect milk has two rollers on the back edge of the appliance. It can be easily moved by lifting slightly at the front.

Caution!

  • Never place the appliance on hot surfaces or in damp areas.
  • Do not transport or store the appliance in vehicles or rooms at low temperatures, as the remaining water could freeze or condense and thereby damage the appliance. Please take note of the information on page 81.
  • The coffee grounds container is located in the drip tray. Please make sure that the drip tray is pushed into the appliance all the way to stop.

Notes

  • Keep the packaging material, including hard foam elements, in order to avoid damage during transport or in case of return shipments.
  • It is normal to find traces of coffee and water in the machine before it is started up for the first time. This is because the appliance has already been tested for faultless function at the factory.

4.2 Connecting

  • Plug the power cable into an appropriate power socket.

Warning!

Danger of fire and electric shock due to incorrect supply voltage, incorrect or damaged connections and power cable.

  • Ensure that the supply voltage corresponds to the supply voltage specified on the identifi cation label of the appliance. The identifi cation label is on the right side of the appliance behind the cover (Fig. B, no. 14).

  • Make sure that the power socket meets the applicable standards for electrical safety. If in doubt, contact a qualified electrician.

  • Never use damaged power cables (damaged insulation, bare wires).

4.3 Filling the bean container

  • Remove the lid of the bean container and fi II the container with fresh coffee beans.

Caution!

  • Fill the bean container with coffee beans only.

  • Never fill the bean container with ground, freeze-dried, or caramelised coffee beans.

  • Place the lid on the container.

4.4 Inserting the Cappuccinatore

Your fully automatic coffee maker includes a Cappuccinatore to prepare warm milk or milk froth.

  • Push the Cappuccinatore (Fig. A, No. 13) onto the steam pipe up to the stop (Fig. A, No. 12).

4.5 Filling the water tank

  • Flip up the lid of the water tank (Fig. A, No. 7) and pull the water tank up and out of the appliance.
  • Fill the water tank to the maximum mark with fresh tap water and reinsert it.

Notes

If the water tank runs empty during operation (e.g. during the coffee dispensing process), the symbol for the water tank will be illuminated. The current operation will be stopped and the water tank must be filled before starting a new operation.

4.6 Venting

Caution!

The appliance may only be vented without the Melitta® Claris® water fi Iter and with a full water tank.

  • Insert the Melitta® Claris® water fi iter into the water tank only after venting.
  • Fill the water tank with fresh tap water to the max. mark before switching the appliance on.

  • Press the ON / OFF button ① to switch the appliance on.
    The symbol for the valve then appears on the display. The appliance must be vented through the Cappuccinatore to ensure that there is no more air in the water passages.

  • Place a large vessel under the Cappuccinatore.
  • Turn the valve switch (Fig. A, No. 11) clockwise to the stop to open the valve.
    The valve symbol now fl ashes. Water will flow into the vessel under the Cappuccinatore.
  • When water is no longer dispensed and the symbol for the valve is illuminated, turn the valve switch anti-clockwise to the stop to close the valve.
    The appliance is ready for operation.

4.7 Adjusting the dispensed quantity

  • Turn the coffee quantity regulator (Fig. A, no. 4) to variably adjust the dispensed quantity (regulator to the left: less coffee, regulator to the right; more coffee).

4.8 Adjusting the coffee strength

  • Press the button for coffee strength 0 several times to select among three possible coffee strengths.

Your selection will then be shown with the bean symbols on the display.

5 Switching on and off

5.1 Switching on the appliance

The appliance performs an automatic rinse every time it is switched on.

  • Place a vessel below the outlet.
  • Press the ON/OFF button ① to switch the appliance on.

The standby symbol is flashing. The appliance heats up. The appliance performs an automatic rinse and hot water flows out of the outlet. The standby symbol will then be illuminated. The appliance is ready for operation.

5.2 Switching off the appliance

  • Place a vessel below the outlet.
  • Press the ON/OFF button ① to switch off the appliance.

The appliance automatically rinses out the coffee channels if coffee has been dispensed. The brewing chamber goes into resting position. The standby symbol is not illuminated.

6 Inserting the Melitta ® Claris® water filter

A Melitta® Claris® water filter is supplied with the appliance for filtering out limescale and other contaminants. Please only insert it after starting up the appliance for the first time. If you use the filter, you will have to descale the appliance less frequently and the water hardness will automatically be set to hardness level 1 (see page 64). The service life of your appliance will be extended thanks to this reliable protection from limescale. The water filter should be changed regularly (every 2 months); at the latest, however, it must be changed when the symbol for the water filter is shown on the display.

Prerequisite: The appliance must be switched off (see „Switching on and off“ on page 56).

  • Simultaneously press the button for coffee strength ① and the ON / OFF button ① for more than 2 seconds.

The symbol for the water filter flashes during the entire change procedure. The symbol for the drip tray is illuminated.

  • Empty the drip tray and then reinsert it.
    The symbol for the water tank illuminates.
  • Put the water filter in a glass with fresh tap water for several minutes before you insert it.
  • Flip up the lid of the water tank (Fig. A, No. 7) and pull the water tank up and out of the appliance.
  • Empty the water tank.
  • Screw the Melitta ® Claris® water filter carefully into the thread on the bottom of the water tank.
  • Fill the water tank to the maximum mark with fresh tap water and reinsert it.

The symbol for the valve will be illuminated.

  • Place a sufficiently large vessel (e.g. the coffee grounds container) under the Cappuccinatore.

  • Turn the valve switch (Fig. A, No. 11) clockwise to the stop to open the valve.

  • The valve symbol now fl ashes. Water will flow into the vessel under the Cappuccinatore.
  • When water is no longer dispensed and the symbol for the valve is illuminated, turn the valve switch anti-clockwise to the stop to close the valve.

Subsequently, the standby symbol and bean symbols will be illuminated. The device is ready for operation and water hardness is automatically set to hardness level 1.

Notes

  • The Melitta® Claris® water fi liter should not remain dry over an extended period of time. We therefore recommend storing the Melitta® Claris® water fi liter in the refrigerator in a glass of water when the appliance will not be in use for extended periods.
  • After inserting the Melitta® Claris® water fi liter, excess active charcoal will be washed out of the fi liter the fi rst time the appliance is rinsed out. This can cause the rinse water to appear slightly grey in colour. Subsequently the water will again be clear.

7 Preparing espresso or café crème

Prerequisites: The appliance must be ready for operation (see „Switching on and off“ on page 56).

  • Place one or two cups beside each other under the outlet.
  • Press the button for coffee strength to adjust the coffee strength.
  • Turn the coffee quantity regulator (Fig. A, no. 4) to adjust the dispensed quantity.
  • Press the button for dispensing coffee once if you want to prepare one cup.
  • Press the button for dispensing coffee twice in rapid succession if you want to prepare two cups.

If you have pressed twice, the bean symbols flash twice in rapid succession during dispensing to confirm.
The (double) grinding process and the dispensing of coffee start. The standby symbol is flashing. Dispensing ends automatically when the set dispensed quantity is reached.

  • To stop dispensing coffee prematurely, press the button for coffee dispensing. If you have pressed twice, wait for at least three seconds after starting dispensing before pressing the button again.

Notes

  • When the appliance is started up for the first time, the grinder will grind longer than usual.
  • You can also adjust the dispensed quantity during the dispensing process. To dispense less coffee, turn the coffee quantity regulator to the left to the desired quantity, or turn it until the appliance stops dispensing. To dispense more coffee, turn the regulator to the right.

8 Preparing milk froth

Prerequisite: The appliance must be ready for operation (see „Switching on and off“ on page 56).

The Cappuccinatore can be used to froth milk directly from the milk carton or from a vessel into the cup.

  • Submerse the Cappuccinatore hose directly in the milk.
  • Place a cup under the Cappuccinatore.
  • Press the button for steam dispensing

→ The standby symbol is flashing. The appliance heats up. Then the valve symbol illuminates.

There is a risk of burn injuries and scalding due hot steam and the hot steam pipe.

  • Never reach into the escaping steam.
  • Never touch the steam pipe during use or immediately after use.

  • Turn the control dial (Fig. F, No. 3) to the position „milk froth".

The „milk froth“ function is active when the symbol on the control dial points upwards.

  • Turn the valve switch (Fig. A, No. 11) clockwise to the stop to open the valve.

The valve symbol fl ashes.

  • When you have dispensed the desired quantity of milk froth, turn the valve switch (Abb. A, No. 11) anti-clockwise to the stop to close the valve.

  • Rinsing the Cappuccinatore: fill a vessel halfway with clear water and submerse the hose of the Cappuccinatore into the water.

Place an empty vessel under the Cappuccinatore.

Turn the control dial to the symbol.

Open the valve. As soon as a clean water / steam mixture is discharged, close it.

The Cappuccinatore is clean. We recommend that you take the

Cappuccinatore apart and separately clean the individual parts regularly (see „Cleaning the Cappuccinatore“ on page 72).

  • After 30 seconds, the appliance switches automatically from steam mode to normal operating mode. Press the button for steam dispensing

to switch to the normal operating mode prematurely.

Notes

We recommend using cold milk with a high protein content. It is not the fat content, but rather the protein content that is the determining factor for good milk froth.

9 Heating milk

Prerequisite: The appliance must be ready for operation (see „Switching on and off“ on page 56).

You can use the Cappuccinatore to heat milk directly from the milk carton or from a vessel.

  • Submerse the Cappuccinatore hose directly in the milk.
  • Place a cup under the Cappuccinatore.
  • Press the button for steam dispensing

→ The standby symbol is flashing. The appliance heats up. Then the valve symbol illuminates.

  • Never reach into the escaping steam.
  • Never touch the steam pipe during use or immediately after use.

  • Turn the control dial (Fig. F, No. 3) to the „Warm milk“ position.

The „Warm milk“ function is active when the symbol on the control dial points upwards.

  • Turn the valve switch (Fig. A, No. 11) clockwise to the stop to open the valve.

The valve symbol fl ashes.

  • When you have dispensed the desired quantity of warm milk, turn the valve switch (Fig. A, No. 11) anti-clockwise to the stop to close the valve.
  • Rinsing the Cappuccinatore: Proceed as described on page 61.

10 Dispensing hot water

Prerequisites: The appliance must be ready for operation (see „Switching on and off“ on page 56).

  • Turn the control dial (Fig. F, No. 3) to the „Hot water" position.
    The „Hot water" function is active when the symbol on the control dial points upwards.
  • Hold a vessel under the Cappuccinatore.

Warning!

There is a risk of burn injuries and scalding due hot water splashing and the hot steam pipe.

When dispensing hot water directly after dispensing steam, the remaining steam will initially escape from the Cappuccinatore and can cause the hot water to splash.

  • Avoid direct skin contact with hot water and the hot Cappuccinatore.

  • Turn the valve switch (Fig. A, No. 11) clockwise to the stop to open the valve.
    The valve symbol now flashes. Hot water flows out of the Cappuccinatore and into the vessel.

  • As soon as the desired quantity of water is reached, turn the valve switch anti-clockwise to the stop to close the valve.

Notes

Water dispensing ends automatically when approx. 150ml of hot water have been dispensed. If you would like to dispense a larger quantity of water, turn the valve switch back to its original position and repeat the hot water dispensing process.

11 Function settings

11.1 Water hardness

Use the test strip provided to determine the water hardness in your area. Comply with the instructions on the test strip package. The appliance is factory-adjusted to water hardness 4. If you have inserted the Melitta® Claris® water filter, water hardness 1 is set automatically (see page 57)

Prerequisite: The appliance must be ready for operation (see „Switching on and off“ on page 56).

To maintain appliance quality, please adjust the water hardness as follows:

  • Simultaneously press the button for coffee dispensing and the button for coffee strength for more than 2 seconds.
    The standby symbol is flashing rapidly.
  • Press the button for coffee dispensing once to call up the menu for adjusting the water hardness.
    The symbol for the water filter is illuminated.
  • Press the button for coffee strength ① several times to select among the four possible degrees of water hardness.
    → Your water hardness selection according to the table is shown with the bean symbols on the display.

During the adjusting process, if you do not press a button within 60 seconds the appliance automatically reverts to standby mode.

11.2 Energy-savingmode

After the last action, the appliance automatically (depending on the settings) switches to energy-saving mode (the appliance thus consumes much less energy than in stand-by mode). You can set different times for the energy-saving mode. The appliance is factory-set at 5 minutes.

Prerequisite: The appliance must be ready for operation (see „Switching on and off“ on page 56).

Please adjust the timer as follows:

  • Simultaneously press the button for coffee dispensing and the button for coffee strength for more than 2 seconds.

The standby symbol is flashing rapidly.

  • Press the button for coffee dispensing twice to call up the menu for the energy-saving mode.

The symbol for the water tank illuminates.

  • Press the coffee strength button several times to select from four possible times for the timer.

You can wake up the appliance from the energy-saving mode by pressing on the button for coffee strength. You can then immediately dispense coffee.

11.3 Auto-offfunction

The device switches off automatically after the last action (depending on the setting). You can set different times for the auto-OFF function. The appliance is factory-set at 1 hour.

Prerequisite: The appliance must be ready for operation (see „Switching on and off“ on page 56).

Please adjust the timer as follows:

  • Simultaneously press the button for coffee dispensing and the button for coffee strength for more than 2 seconds.

The standby symbol is flashing.

11.6 Grinding fineness

The grinding fineness level was optimally adjusted prior to delivery. Consequently, we recommend that you only readjust grinding fineness after dispensing approximately 1,000 coffees (about 1 year).

You can only set the grinding fineness while the mill is running. Thus, adjust grinding fineness directly after coffee dispensing starts.

If the coffee flavour is not sufficiently intense, we recommend that you set a finer grinding level.

  • Reach into the recess on the right side of the appliance (Fig. A, No. 14) and pull off the cover to the right.
  • Start a normal coffee dispensing process.
  • While the grinder is running: Place the lever in one of the three positions (Fig. E).
  • Insert the four catches of the cover into the back of the appliance and swing the cover to the left until it locks into place.

12 Care and maintenance

12.1 Generalcleaning

  • Clean the outside of the appliance with a soft, damp cloth and ordinary dishwashing liquid.
  • Empty and clean the drip tray (Fig. A, no. 1) regularly; at the latest, however, when the fl oat projects out of the cup plate.
  • Clean the coffee grounds container regularly.

Caution!

  • To avoid damage to the appliance surface, do not use scouring cloths, sponges or cleaning products.
  • Do not clean the drip tray in the dishwasher; this could cause deformation.

Notes

The coffee grounds container (Fig. A, no. 1) is dishwasher-safe and can be washed in the dishwasher. Frequent washing in the dishwasher can cause slight discolorations on the coffee grounds container.

12.2 Cleaning the brewing unit

Prerequisite: The appliance must be switched off (see „Switching on and off“ on page 56).

Notes

For optimal protection of your appliance, we recommend that you clean the brewing unit under running tap water once a week.

  • Reach into the recess on the right side of the appliance (Fig. A, no. 14) and pull off the cover to the right.
  • Press and hold the red button on the handle of the brewing unit (Fig. B, No. 1) and turn the handle clockwise to the stop (by about 75^ ).
  • Use the handle to pull the brewing unit out of the appliance.
  • Leave the brewing unit as it is (do not move or twist the components of the brewing unit).
  • Thoroughly rinse off the entire brewing unit from all sides under running water. Particularly ensure that the surface shown in Fig. D is free of coffee residues.

Caution!

Never clean the brewing unit in the dishwasher.

  • Let the brewing unit drip dry.
  • If necessary, remove coffee residues from the surfaces in the interior of the appliance where the brewing unit is inserted.
  • Reinsert the brewing unit into the appliance and turn the handle of the brewing unit anti-clockwise to stop to lock.
  • Insert the four catches of the cover into the back of the appliance and swing the cover to the left until it locks into place.

12.3 Cleaning the Cappuccinatore

We recommend that you clean the Cappuccinatore once a week with the milk system cleaning agent from Melitta® for fully automatic coffee makers.

Proceed as described on page 61 under „Rinsing the Cappuccinatore“ and use the milk cleaner solution instead of clear water.

  • Always clean the Cappuccinatore immediately after use if it has been used to heat or froth milk.
  • Wait until the Cappuccinatore has cooled down and wipe it on the outside with a damp cloth.
  • For thorough daily cleaning, pull the Cappuccinatore (Fig. A, No. 13) off of the steam pipe (Fig. A, No. 12) and take it apart (Fig. F).
  • To do so, remove the milk hose, the milk froth / hot water nozzle (Fig. F, No. 6) and the air intake pipe (Fig. F, No. 2) from the connecting piece (Fig. F, No. 5).
  • Rinse all of the parts under running water. Clean the air intake pipe especially well.
  • Put the Cappuccinatore back together in the reverse order.
  • Push the Cappuccinatore (Fig. A, No. 13) onto the steam pipe up to the stop (Fig. A, No. 12).

12.4 Integrated cleaning programme

The integrated cleaning programme removes residues, including coffee oil residues, that cannot be eliminated by hand. It requires a total of approximately 15 minutes. The cleaning symbol fl ashes during the entire process.

Prerequisite: The appliance must be switched off (see „Switching on and off“ on page 56).

Caution!

  • Run the integrated cleaning programme every 2 months or after approximately 200 brewed cups of coffee; at the latest, however, run the programme when the symbol for cleaning lights up on the display.
  • Only use Melitta® cleaning tabs for fully automatic coffee makers. These cleaning tabs are specifically designed for the Melitta® CAFFEO® SOLO®&perfect milk. The use of other cleaning agents can damage the appliance.

Run the integrated cleaning programme as follows:

1 Flip up the lid of the water tank (Fig. A, No. 7) and pull the water tank up and out of the appliance. Fill the water tank to the maximum mark with fresh tap water and reinsert it.
2 Simultaneously press the button for coffee dispensing and the ON/OFF button for more than 2 seconds.

3 Empty the drip tray and coffee grounds container.
4 Reinsert the drip tray without the coffee grounds container and place the coffee grounds container under the outlet.

Phase 1

First, two automatic rinsing processes are carried out. The standby symbol will then be illuminated.

5 Reach into the recess on the right side of the appliance (Fig. A, No. 12) and pull off the cover to the right.
6 Press and hold the red button on the handle of the brewing unit (Fig. B, no. 1) and turn the handle clockwise to the stop (approximately 75^ ).
7 Use the handle to pull the brewing unit out of the appliance.

The standby symbol and the symbol for cleaning will flash alternately, as long as the brewing unit is out of the machine.

Caution!

Danger of damaging the brewing unit

  • During the cleaning programme, only remove the brewing unit when instructed to do so.

8 Leave the brewing unit as it is (do not move or twist the components of the brewing unit).
9 Thoroughly rinse off the entire brewing unit from all sides under running water.
10 Let the brewing unit drip dry.
11 Place a cleaning tab in the brewing unit (Fig. C).
12 Reinsert the brewing unit into the appliance and turn the handle of the brewing unit anticlockwise to the stop to lock.

Phase 1 is completed.

Phase 2

During Phase 2, two bean symbols are shown on the display.

The symbol for cleaning will continue to flash; the standby symbol is not illuminated. The symbol for the water tank illuminates.

13 Insert the four catches of the cover in the back of the appliance and swing the cover to the left until it engages.

14 Flip up the lid of the water tank (Fig. A, No. 7) and pull the water tank up and out of the appliance. Fill the water tank to the maximum mark with fresh tap water and reinsert it.

15 Press the button for steam dispensing to continue with the integrated cleaning programme.

The integrated cleaning programme continues. This process lasts approximately 5 minutes. Water flows out of the outlet as well as in the interior of the appliance into the drip tray. Subsequently, the symbol for the drip tray illuminates.

Phase 2 is completed.

Phase 3

During Phase 3, three bean symbols are shown on the display.

16 Empty the drip tray and coffee grounds container.

17 Reinsert the drip tray without the coffee grounds container and place the coffee grounds container under the outlet.

Phase 3 is completed.

Phase 4

During Phase 4, three bean symbols are shown on the display. The middle bean will be flashing.

The integrated cleaning programme continues. This process lasts approximately 5 minutes. Water flows out of the outlet as well as in the interior of the appliance into the drip tray. Subsequently, the symbol for the drip tray illuminates.

18 Empty the drip tray and the coffee grounds container and then reinsert them.

The standby symbol will be illuminated after a brief heat-up phase. The appliance is ready for operation.

12.5 Integrated descaling programme

The integrated descending programme removes limescale in the interior of the appliance. It requires a total of approximately 30 minutes. The symbol for descending flashes during the entire process.

Prerequisite: The appliance must be switched off (see „Switching on and off“ on page 56).

Caution!

  • Carry out the integrated descaling programme every 3 months or when the descaling symbol illuminates on the display.

  • Only use Melitta® ANTI CALC Espresso Machine descending agent. These descending products are specifically designed for the Melitta® CAFFEO® SOLO®&perfect milk.

  • Never use vinegar or other descaling agents.

Run the integrated descending programme as follows:

1 Before descending, remove - if necessary - the Melitta ® Claris ^® water fi Iter from the water tank (see Page 57).
2 Simultaneously press the button for steam dispensing and the ON / OFF button for more than 2 seconds.

The symbol for descending is fl ashing.

The symbol for the drip tray is illuminated.

Phase 1

During Phase 1, one bean symbol 0 is shown on the display.

3 Empty the drip tray and then re-insert it without the coffee grounds container, and place the coffee grounds container under the Cappuccinatore. Make sure that the control dial is set to the position with the „hot water“ symbol .

4 Lift the lid of the water tank (Fig. A, no. 7) and pull the water tank up and out of the appliance and then empty it completely.
5 Add the descending agent (e.g. Melitta ANTI CALC Espresso Machines liquid descaler) to the water tank according to the instructions on the packaging. The total quantity of descending solution (descending agent + water) should not exceed 0.5 litres (see marking line in the water tank).

9 Turn the valve switch (Fig. A, No. 11) clockwise to the stop to open the valve.

Water will flow intermittently out of the Cappuccinatore into the coffee grounds container. The symbol for the valve flashes during this process. This process lasts approximately 10 minutes. Subsequently, the symbol for the drip tray illuminates.

10 Leave the valve open.

11 Empty the coffee grounds container and the drip tray and then reinsert the drip tray. Place the coffee grounds container back under the Cappuccinatore.

The symbol for the water tank illuminates.

12 Thoroughly rinse the water tank, fill it to the max. mark with fresh tap water and reinsert it.

13 Press the button for steam dispensing to continue with the integrated descending programme.

Phase 2 is completed.

14 Turn the valve switch anti-clockwise to the stop to close the valve.

15 Empty the drip tray and the coffee grounds container and then reinsert them.

The standby symbol will be illuminated after a brief heat-up phase. The appliance is ready for operation.

16 Reinsert the Melitta® Claris® water filter into the water tank.

13 Transport and disposal

13.1 Preparation for transport, protection against freezing and measures for longer periods of non-use

Venting the appliance

We recommend that you vent the appliance if it will not be used for an extended period of time and before transport. This also protects the appliance against frost damage.

Prerequisites: The appliance must be ready for operation (see „Switching on and off“ on page 56).

Take the Melitta 們 Claris water fiiter out of the water tank.
- Simultaneously press the button for coffee dispensing and the ON/OFF button for more than 2 seconds.

→ The standby symbol flashes during a brief heat-up phase. Subsequently, the symbol for the water tank will be illuminated.

  • Flip up the lid of the water tank (Fig. A, No. 7) and pull the water tank up and out of the appliance.
    The symbol for the valve will be illuminated.
  • Place a vessel below the Cappuccinatore.
  • Turn the valve switch clockwise to the stop to open the valve.

Water will run out of the Cappuccinatore and into the vessel; steam will also escape. The valve symbol now fl ashes.

Warning!

Danger of scalding by hot steam

Make sure that you do not burn yourself on the hot steam that escapes from the Cappuccinatore during the venting process.

  • As soon as no more steam is escaping, turn the valve switch anticlockwise to the stop to close the valve.

The appliance is vented and will switch off automatically.

Notes

The Melitta® Claris® water fi liter should not remain dry over an extended period of time. We therefore recommend storing the Melitta® Claris® water fi liter in the refrigerator in a glass of water when the appliance will not be in use for extended periods.

Transport

  • Vent the appliance (see page 81).
  • Empty and clean the drip tray and coffee grounds container.
  • Empty the water tank and the bean container. If necessary, remove beans from the bottom with a vacuum cleaner.
  • Clean the brewing unit (see page 71).
  • Remove the Cappuccinatore (Fig. A, No. 13).
  • Transport the appliance in the original packaging if possible, including the hard foam elements, to prevent transport damage.

Caution!

Do not transport or store the appliance in vehicles or rooms at low temperatures, as the remaining water could freeze or condense and thereby damage the appliance.
