How to install the Lupus Electronics LE138 camera?

Attach the mount to the wall or ceiling using the provided screws and anchors. Run the cable through the wall to conceal it. Adjust the angle by loosening the screw on the 3-axis mount, position the camera, then tighten the screw.

What is the night vision range?

The maximum infrared range is 20 meters thanks to 24 infrared LEDs at 850 nm. In IR mode, the minimum illumination is 0 Lux, allowing vision in total darkness.

What does IP68 rating mean?

The IP68 rating means the camera is completely protected against dust and can be continuously submerged in water beyond 1 meter. It is therefore suitable for outdoor use.

How to clean the camera sensor?

First disconnect the camera. Gently clean the sensor surface with a soft cloth moistened with alcohol if accidentally touched. Avoid touching the sensor directly.

What type of power supply is required?

The camera operates on 12 V DC. The AC adapter is included in the package. Use only the original adapter to avoid any electrical risk.

Is the camera suitable for outdoor use?

Yes, thanks to its IP68 protection class and temperature range of -10°C to 50°C, the LE138 can be installed outdoors, provided that direct exposure to weather or prolonged sunlight is avoided.

The camera is intended for conventional video surveillance by day and night. It is designed for both in- and outdoor use. Installation:

The camera can be installed on a wall or ceiling. The cable is routed through the bracket and thus protected from vandalism. The savest way to install your camera is to mount it directly on a cable channel in wall or ceiling.

Alternatively, you can pass the cable through the outlet on the bottom side of the bracket.

Pass the cable through the channel in the wall as shown below.

Use the included screws and dowels to fix the camera.

Hint : Make sure that the underside of the bracket is flush with the surface to seal it against outside influences.

Adjustment of the 3-axial bracket:

loose the weel around the ankle to adjust the camera. As soon as you found the right position, please close the weel again.
