The level is indicated by the LED in the upper right corner of the front: green (over 40%), orange (between 5 and 40%), red (less than 5%).

Can I charge my iPod/iPhone while it is connected?

Yes, if the S315i speakers are plugged into the mains. They will not charge the device if running on battery.

Do I need to use a dock adapter for my iPod?

No, the S315i system is designed to work with all iPods and iPhones with a dock connector without an additional adapter.

How do I connect my iPod/iPhone to the speaker?

Place your iPod/iPhone in the dock on top of the speaker. Make sure it is securely in place. Press the play button to start music.

What to do if the LED does not light up?

Check that the speaker is powered on (power button). If it is on battery and the battery is empty, plug in the mains charger. If the LED remains off, contact customer service.

How do I activate energy-saving mode?

Energy-saving mode activates automatically to extend battery life. You will notice a decrease in volume and reduced bass. For optimal sound, use normal mode on mains power.

What to do if the sound quality is poor?

Check the volume on the speaker and your device. Make sure the device is properly connected. If you are in energy-saving mode, volume and bass are reduced. Try switching to normal mode on mains power.

A: Yes, if your S315i speaker is plugged into AC power. The S315i will not charge your iPod or iPhone if it is running on battery power.

Q: I have an Apple Universal Dock Tray that came with my iPod, where does it go?

You don't need any of the Universal Trays. The S315i speaker is designed to perfectly support all iPods and iPhones with a dock connector.
