What should I do if the appliance does not turn on and the LEDs do not light up?

Make sure the appliance is plugged into a working electrical outlet. If the problem persists, unplug the plug, wait 5 minutes, and plug it back in. Contact customer service if necessary.

The beverage is not flowing despite starting the brewing, what should I do?

Check that the water tank is filled to the max mark with fresh water. If the float is stuck, descale the appliance or move the float manually. Run a cleaning cycle with the service T DISC.

Why is the status LED red when the water tank is full?

The float in the water tank may be stuck. Descale the appliance or move the float up and down manually. If the problem persists, contact TASSIMO support.

How do I descale the appliance?

When the calc LED lights up, immediately run the descaling program. Use a suitable descaling agent (without phosphoric acid) and follow the instructions in the manual (fig. 44-58). Do not use chemically demineralized water.

How do I clean the appliance?

Some components (water tank, cup support, etc.) can be washed in the dishwasher (see fig. 27). For general cleaning, follow the steps in figures 28-43. Do not use a steam cleaner.

Can I use capsules other than original T DISCs?

No, use only original T DISCs. Never use a damaged or previously used T DISC. The appliance reads the barcode to automatically adjust the preparation.

What should I do if the brewing system does not close properly?

Check that the T DISC piercing crown and T DISC holder are correctly engaged (click). Make sure the T DISC is properly positioned, printed side down, tab in the notch.

How do I preheat the cups?

You can preheat the cups by dispensing hot water without a capsule. To stop the preparation prematurely, briefly press the button. To extend, hold it down until the desired quantity.

The beverage quality has deteriorated (loss of crema or volume), what should I do?

Clean the outlet nozzle and run a cleaning cycle with the service T DISC. If the problem persists, the appliance may be scaled: descale it.

How do I change the water tank?

Fill the water tank daily with fresh, cold, non-carbonated water up to the max mark. Do not remove the tank during preparation. Be careful not to let liquid spill on the connection.

  Be careful of your fingers when inserting or cleaning the T DISC.
• People with electronic implants must stand at least 10 ~cm away from the appliance.

• This minimum distance of 10cm must also be observed for the water tank when removed.

• To ensure hygiene, follow the cleaning instructions for the appliance.

Note: You can prepare a wide range of hot beverages with the multiple hot drinks machine. When you insert a T DISC, the scanner reads the barcode and controls the flow of hot water automatically.

• Do not use chemically decalcified water.
• You can also pre-heat cups before dispensing using hot water.
• To interrupt the dispensing process, briefly press .
• To prolong dispensing, press and hold until the required quantity is reached.

The appliance not connected to the power supply when the T DISC was inserted.

Connect the appliance to the power supply before inserting the T DISC.

Brewing unit cannot be closed.

T DISC piercing unit or T DISC holder is not correctly inserted.

1. Press the T DISC piercing unit into the holder until it clicks audibly into place.
2. Check the position of the T DISC holder.

T DISC has not been correctly inserted.

1. Insert the T DISC with the printed side facing downwards.
2. Check whether the tab of the T DISC is in the recess.

Brewing unit cannot be opened.

Brewing unit is locked.

• Only open the brewing unit when the status display remains lit continuously.

Water is dripping from the brewing unit.

T DISC is damaged or not correctly inserted.
Use a new T DISC.

Press the T DISC piercing unit into the holder until it clicks audibly into place.

There is water under the cup stand.

Condensation has formed due to technical reasons or valves are clogged with limescale.
