How to turn the printer on and off?

To turn the printer on or off, press the Power button for 2 seconds. The status indicator turns white when powered on.

How to reset the printer?

There are two methods: press the Power button 6 times in succession, or use a pin to press the Reset button located next to the paper tray cover.

How to connect the printer to my phone?

Download the Mi Home / Xiaomi Home app, open it, tap the '+' icon in the top right, and follow the prompts. Ensure the Bluetooth indicator is blinking orange (ready for pairing).

What type of paper should I use?

Use only the original photo paper provided with the calibration card. Insert the entire stack with the glossy side up and the calibration card at the bottom (barcode facing down).

What should I do if the printer does not respond?

Press the Reset button with a pin to force shutdown. If the problem persists, check the battery or perform a factory reset (6 presses on Power).

How to charge the battery?

Connect the included USB cable to a 5V-1A power source. The battery indicator turns white during charging and goes off when fully charged. Recharge at least once every 3 months.

What do the printer indicators mean?

Status indicator: solid white (standby), blinking white (printing/updating), blinking orange (error). Bluetooth indicator: orange (ready for pairing), blue (connected). Battery indicator: solid white (charging), blinking white (low), off (charged).

What is the ideal temperature for using the printer?

The optimal operating temperature is between 15 °C and 35 °C with a relative humidity of 40% to 60%. Inappropriate conditions may affect print quality.

How to care for the photo paper?

Do not touch the glossy side of the paper to avoid fingerprints. Store paper away from heat, humidity, and direct sunlight. Use one complete stack at a time.

What to do in case of a printing error?

Check that the paper is loaded correctly (glossy side up, calibration card at bottom). Ensure temperature and humidity are within the recommended range. If the indicator blinks orange, restart the printer.

Powering On

To turn on the printer, press and hold the power button for 2 seconds until the status indicator turns white. The printer will then wait for a pairing with a Bluetooth device, and the Bluetooth indicator is turning into orange.

Note: Pressing or pressing and holding the on/off button will not interrupt a firmware update.

Connect with Mi Home / Xiaomi Home App

This product works with Mi Home / Xiaomi Home app*. Control your device with Mi Home / Xiaomi Home app.

Scan the QR code to download and install the app. You will be directed to the connection setup page if the app is installed already. Or search "Mi Home / Xiaomi Home" in the app Store to download and install it.

Open Mi Home / Xiaomi Home app, tap "+" on the upper right, and then follow prompts to add your device.

Once the printer is successfully connected to your phone, you can use Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app to print photos.

• The app is referred to as Xiaomi Home app in Europe (except for Russia). The name of the app displayed on your device should be taken as the default.

The version of the app might have been updated, please follow the instructions based on the current app version.

1 Open the printer paper tray cover.

Firmly press the paper tray cover until it clicks into place.

2 Load Photo Paper

Remove the photo paper from its packaging and load the entire stack of paper into the printer with the glossy side up. Make sure the Smart Sheet is placed at the very bottom with its barcode facing down.

3 Close the paper tray cover.

Precautions

1. The printer's optimal operating temperature is 15^ to 35^ at a relative humidity of 40% to 60% . Improper temperature or humidity levels may adversely affect print quality, including causing paper jams or incomplete printing.
2. To ensure print quality, only use genuine photo paper and the included Smart Sheet.
3. Do not mix using photo paper and Smart Sheet from different packages, as this may impact print quality. For best results, load an entire pack of photo paper each time the printer is out of paper and use the Smart Sheet included with each new paper pack to recalibrate the printer.
4. When loading paper, do not touch the glossy side, as this can leave fingerprints and impact print quality. Add paper glossy side up and place the Smart Sheet on the bottom of the stack with its barcode facing down.
5. To ensure proper printer function and print quality, do not block the output tray or touch the paper during printing. Do not attempt to force paper out of the printer, as this can damage the printer.

6. Do not store photo paper at high temperatures or in direct sunlight, as this can cause the paper to become discolored. Do not expose to humid environments, water, and other liquids so as not to cause the paper to become discolored and wrinkled. Avoid any dust as it can cause scratches on the paper and damage the printer.

7. When pasting a photo, choose a smooth, flat surface. Do not expose the paper to high humidity or moisture to avoid it curling up or losing its adhesive properties.

8. The printer has a built-in lithium battery and should not be stored in a hot or humid environment. Charge the printer at least once every 3 months. Do not attempt to disassemble, repair or replace the battery. Never use the printer if it is exposed to water.
