How to use the VALBERG VAL-CHB22 heater without a remote control?
Frequently Asked Questions - 23/11/2025
Response Notice-Facile

The VALBERG VAL-CHB22 heater can be used and adjusted without a remote control thanks to its built-in control panel. Here’s how to proceed:

Using without a remote control

  • Turn on the device: Plug in the heater and press the power button located on the front panel. A light indicator should turn on to show that the device is running.
  • Locate the controls: On the control panel, you will generally find buttons to adjust the temperature, often represented by arrows or plus (+) and minus (-) signs.
  • Adjust the temperature: Use the buttons to increase or decrease the temperature as needed. The screen or LED display will indicate the selected temperature.
  • Confirm and wait: Once the desired temperature is chosen, the device will start heating until it reaches the set temperature. This may take a few minutes.

If the panel does not respond or if you need further assistance, it is possible that the device requires technical inspection.

How to set the temperature on the VALBERG VAL-CHB22 heater?
Frequently Asked Questions - 23/11/2025
Response Notice-Facile

To set the temperature of your VALBERG VAL-CHB22 electric heater, you have two methods: via the control panel or via the remote control. The radiator offers a temperature range of 18°C to 35°C.

Setting via the control panel: First, press the mode button (the square button) and hold it down for 3 seconds to enter temperature setting mode. The display will show the current temperature. Then, press this same button again to change the temperature. Each press changes the value in this order: 18°C > 22°C > 26°C > 30°C > 35°C. Keep pressing until you reach the desired temperature. The selected value will then be displayed on the digital screen of the control panel.

Setting via the remote control: If you are using the remote control (within 5 meters of the radiator), simply press the "+" (plus) button to increase the temperature or the "—" (minus) button to decrease it. Unlike the control panel, the remote control allows for a smoother temperature adjustment.

Heating levels: In addition to temperature adjustment, you can switch between two power levels. Press the mode button while in operation (without holding it) to alternate between low level (01, 1100 W) and high level (02, 2000 W). The high level reaches the set temperature more quickly.

Important: After setting, wait about 45 seconds for preheating before the device starts to emit heat. The display always shows the currently set temperature and its heating level. If no operation is performed for 60 seconds, the display will automatically turn off (this function can be disabled if desired).

If the display shows the error code "FF", it means that the ambient temperature exceeds 50°C: turn off the radiator and wait for the room to cool down. Also, ensure that the air inlets and outlets of the device are not obstructed for optimal operation.
