— Assembling or disassembling ANY part.
— Adjusting the vertical tilt
— Cleaning or storing the unit
Do not touch any of the moving parts. Never insert fingers or any object into the units propeller or air vents to prevent the risk of an electric shock, fire or injury.
+ Before first use, wipe the unit with a dry soft cloth to remove any dust. + Insert the new batteries (2 x AAA/LRO3 batteries - supplied] into the remote control, according to the indicated polarities (+/-).
NOTE: Do not use rechargeable batteries in the remote control.
Assembling the base and motor unit This pedestal fan comes with 2 identical tubes to allow you to assemble the fan at the desired height. Make sure the unit has been unplugged from the mains socket.
Ô 1. Place the base on a flat, solid floor.
2. Insert the threaded end of a tube into the hole in the middle of the base, then rotate the tube clockwise until it is securely screwed into place. To use the fan at its maximum height, insert the threaded end of the second tube into the first tube, then rotate it clockwise until it is securely screwed into place.
3. Next, insert the motor unit tube into the assembled tube and rotate it clockwise until itis securely screwed into place.

Assembling the grills and propeller Once the motor unit has been mounted on the base, secure the grills and propeller to the motor unit.
(210) Insert the rear grill onto the motor shaft. Align the small hole on the rear grill with the small button on the bottom half of the motor unit. Then with one hand, hold the rear grill in position.
@) Insert the plastic nut on the motor shaft and rotate it clockwise in the “TIGHTEN" direction to secure the rear grill in place. Once the nut has been tightened, check that the rear grill is still aligned with the button.
© Insert the propeller onto the motor shaft by aligning the groove on the propeller with the motor shaft's metal rod, then push down on the propeller to make both parts snap into place. The motor's shaft rod rotates the propeller whenever the unit is in use.
© Place the plastic cap on the motor shaft and rotate the cap anticlockwise in the "TIGHTEN" direction, until it is tightly screwed in place and secures the propeller on the motor shaft.
© Hold the front grill with the attachment hook facing upwards and the locking clip pointing downwards. First insert the attachment hook into the slot on the top of the rear gril.
© Make sure the two grills are properly aligned, then press firmly on all the edges of the grills to connect them, starting from the top. You'll hear clicks as the edges are secured into place.
QD) Close the locking clip at the bottom, then tighten the screwusing a Phillips screwdriver.
WARNING! Before plugging in the unit, always check that all the parts have been properly
assembled to avoid any danger.
Disassembling the unit To disassemble the unit before putting it away, simply unplug the power cable and follow the steps indicated in the previous section in reverse order.

+ Press this button to turn on the fan. The screen displays the current speed.
+ Press this button to turn off the fan and put it in Standby mode. The screen will go off.
Press this button to start or stop the automatic Left-right oscillation (85°).

Upon connecting the fan, the default speed is “1! [the slowest

Hold down for Timer 2-35 to access + the timer
This button allows you to set the auto-on or auto-off timer from "1" to "8" hours. + To enter the timer setting mode, press the ®© button or
press and hold the fan's (#) button for 2-3 seconds until the © icon starts flashing on the screen.
Then press the © /(#)/ + or — buttons to increase
or decrease the duration (1-8 hours] in 1-hour intervals. The hour values will Loop when you press these buttons. Once the desired duration is displayed on the screen, stop pressing the buttons. The selected hour value and © icon will flash twice and your settings will be automatically confirmed
Auto-on: The auto-on timer can be set when the unit is
in Standby mode. The speed and oscillation settings will remain the same as defined during the previous use. Once the timer has been set and confirmed, the screen will display the duration and the © icon will be steadily lit before turning off to save energy. Press any button lexcept the © button] to turn the display back on again.
Once the timer duration has elapsed, the unit will automatically turn on.
Auto-off: The auto-off timer can be set when the unit is
in use. Once the timer has been set and confirmed, the screen will display the current speed and the © icon will be steadily Lit. Should the display turn off [for energy-saving reasons), press any button (except the ©) button) to turn it back on. Tap the © icon to check the set duration.
Once the duration of the auto-off timer has elapsed, the unit will stop and automatically switch to Standby mode. To cancel a programmed auto-on or auto-off:
— Press the © button.
— Repeatedly press the © button until the hour digit returns to "0" or
— press and hold the (*) button for 2 -3 seconds; then repeatedly press the (&) button until the displayed time returns to "0".
+ A beep will sound to confirm your selection whenever a button is pressed on the fan or
+ The current speed and status of the unit will appear on the display.
Using the unit Always place the unit on a flat, dry and sturdy surface. Position the unit in a safe place to prevent it from tipping over.
+ Before using the unit, always check that all parts have been properly aligned and assembled to avoid any danger. Do not Let the power cable hang from the edges of a table or worktop. Make sure the power cable cannot be pulled by children or animals, and does not pose a tripping hazard. Do not place the unit near a window where it could be exposed to rain Do not use the unit in a bathroom. Keep the unit away from all water sources or very humid environments.
1. Fully unwind the power cable and securely plug it into a suitable mains socket. Once powered, the unit will beep and enter Standby mode.
2. Press the © button on the fan or remote control to turn on the fan. The default speed
after connecting the unit is "1".
Press the (#)/ + button or — button to increase or decrease the speed [1-8] in a Loop.
Press the (©) button to start or stop the automatic left-right air flow oscillation (85°).
C3] To manually adjust the vertical tilt, press the © button first to stop the fan. Wait for the fan to stop completely, then gently push the fan head upwards or downwards to adjust the vertical tilt angle (24°).

NOTE: After a few seconds of inactivity [no buttons being pressed), the display will turn off to save power whilst the fan continues to operate (speed, oscillation and timer). Press any button (except : ] to turn the display back on again
6. Whenthe fan is no longer in use, press the © button to make it enter Standby mode and unplug the power cable from the mains socket.

+ Always unplug the unit from the mains socket before cleaning it.
+ Never immerse the unit, power cable or plug in water or any other liquid, to avoid any electrical hazard. Never rinse them under a tap.
NOTE: Never use solvents, chemical or abrasive cleaning products, wire brushes, sharp objects or scouring pads to clean the unit.
+ General cleaning - Wipe the main unit and base with a soft cloth/sponge lightly soaked in water or a small amount of soapy water to remove any dirt and dust. After cleaning, dry the unit thoroughly.
+ Deep cleaning - To remove the dust that has accumulated on the grills and propeller, follow these steps:
- Disassemble the fan head by following the steps indicated in the “Assembling the grills and propeller" section in reverse order. — Wipe the motor unit with a soft cloth slightly dampened with
water or a small amount of soapy water. Dry well.
— Clean the front and rear grills, propeller, plastic propeller cap and rear grill nut in slightly soapy water with a soft cloth/ sponge. Rinse thoroughly and dry with a soft cloth. Allow all elements to dry thoroughly before reassembling them on the motor unit.

+ Please retain the packaging and use it to store your unit when itis not in use for an extended period of time.
