Frequently Asked Questions - CT-5584 - 18km/h - Kinomap CARE FITNESS

What is the maximum speed of the CARE FITNESS CT-5584?
The CT-5584 reaches a maximum speed of 18 km/h, adjustable in increments from the console or via the Kinomap app. The range covers both fast walking and intense jogging, with a minimum speed of 1 km/h accessible to all levels.
How do I connect the treadmill to the Kinomap app?
Activate the Bluetooth on your smartphone or tablet, open the Kinomap app and select the CT-5584 from the list of detected devices. Speed and incline are synchronized in real-time, providing access to over 40,000 filmed courses around the world. Kinomap offers limited free access and a paid premium plan.
Can the CT-5584 be used without the Kinomap app?
Yes, the treadmill operates completely independently. The 25 training programs integrated are accessible directly from the console, without internet connection or subscription. Kinomap remains optional.
How do I fold and store the CT-5584?
Lift the running deck towards the back until it clicks into the lock: the treadmill then holds vertically. Use the integrated wheels to move it effortlessly. To unfold, release the lock and gently guide the deck to the floor.
The magnetic key is missing or lost: what should I do?
The treadmill cannot start without its magnetic safety key - it's an essential emergency stop device. You can order a replacement part from CARE FITNESS after-sales service or a spare parts dealer (compatible reference CT-5584).
The LCD screen displays nothing or the treadmill won't start: what should I do?
First, check that the power cable is properly plugged into a working outlet. Then ensure the magnetic safety key is properly inserted into its slot on the console, as its absence prevents any start. If the problem persists, contact CARE FITNESS support.
How often should the running belt be lubricated?
Lubricate the belt every 3 to 6 months depending on usage intensity, or about every 50 to 80 km. Slightly lift the edge of the belt and apply a special treadmill silicone lubricant along the central deck. Never use WD-40 or generic spray lubricant, which can damage the belt.
How do I adjust the incline during a session?
Use the dedicated buttons on the console to switch between the 18 levels of motorized incline without interrupting the workout. Through the Kinomap app, the incline can also change automatically according to the elevation profile of the chosen virtual course.
Are the heart rate sensors integrated into the bars reliable?
The two touch sensors integrated into the handlebars provide a good estimate of heart rate to guide workout intensity. For a more accurate measurement, especially during targeted cardio workouts, complement with a compatible Bluetooth heart rate belt (not included).
What if the treadmill vibrates or slips on the floor?
Place the treadmill on a flat, rigid surface, ideally with an anti-vibration mat. Check that all four feet are in contact with the floor and adjust the leveling feet if necessary. An insufficiently lubricated or improperly tensioned belt can also cause abnormal vibrations.
What parameters are displayed on the LCD console?
The console displays in real-time the speed, distance, time, estimated calories, and heart rate. It also allows you to select and control the 25 integrated training programs.
Does the CT-5584 have built-in speakers?
Yes, the CT-5584 has built-in MP3-compatible speakers and a holder for a tablet or smartphone. You can play your music or display the Kinomap app directly from your device on the holder, without cumbersome cables.
