Does the EQUATION Basic 2900W oil-filled radiator have a frost protection mode?
Frequently Asked Questions - 20/02/2026
Response Notice-Facile

The EQUATION Basic 2900W oil-filled radiator does not have a specific frost protection mode. This type of mode, when present on some radiators, allows for maintaining a minimum temperature to prevent the room from freezing.

In the case of this model, it generally operates with an adjustable thermostat that allows you to choose the desired temperature, but it does not include a dedicated automatic frost protection function.

To prevent freezing, you can set the thermostat to a low but sufficient temperature to maintain minimal warmth in the room.

Why is my EQUATION Basic oil radiator no longer heating and how can I resolve this issue?
Frequently Asked Questions - 20/12/2025
Response Notice-Facile

If your EQUATION Basic oil radiator is no longer heating, several causes may be behind this malfunction. Here are the steps to follow to identify and possibly resolve the issue:

1. Check the power supply

  • Make sure the radiator is properly plugged into a functioning electrical outlet.
  • Test the outlet with another device to confirm it is providing power.

2. Check the thermostat

  • Ensure that the thermostat is set to a sufficiently high temperature to trigger heating.

3. Check the operating mode

  • Make sure the radiator is in heating mode and not in standby or off mode.

4. Inspect the power cord

  • Examine the power cable for any damage or cuts.
  • A damaged cord may prevent the radiator from functioning properly.

5. Observe the indicator lights

  • If your model is equipped with indicator lights, check if they light up when you turn the device on.
  • The absence of light may indicate a power supply or internal circuit issue.

6. Allow the radiator to heat for a sufficient amount of time

  • The oil radiator may take several minutes (about 15 to 30 minutes) before it starts to emit heat.

If after these checks your EQUATION Basic radiator still does not heat, it is likely that an internal technical issue requires professional intervention.
