SAFETY INFORMATION
Before any cleaning or maintenance operation, disconnect hood from the mains by removing the plug or disconnecting the mains electrical supply. Always wear work gloves for all installation and maintenance operations. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not be allowed to tamper with the controls or play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision. The premises where the appliance is installed must be sufficiently ventilated, when the kitchen hood is used together with other gas combustion devices or other fuels. The hood must be regularly cleaned on both the inside and outside (AT LEAST ONCE A MONTH). This must be completed in accordance with
the maintenance instructions provided in this manual. Failure to follow the instructions provided in this user guide regarding the cleaning of the hood and filters will lead to the risk of fires. The flaming of foods beneath the hood itself is severely prohibited.
The use of exposed flames is detrimental to the filters and may cause a fire risk, and must therefore be avoided in all circumstances.
Any frying must be done with care in order to make sure that the oil does not overheat and ignite.
CAUTION: Accessible parts of the hood may become hot when used with cooking appliances.
For lamp replacement use only lamp type indicated in the Maintenance/ Replacing lamps section of this manual.
WARNING! Do not connect the appliance to the mains until the installation is fully complete.
When connecting the hood to the electrical network, only certified electrical adaptors are allowed and not power strips.
1.SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
With regards to the technical and safety measures to be adopted for fume discharging, it is important to closely follow the regulations provided by the local authorities.
The ducting system for this appliance must not be connected to any existing ventilation system which is being used for any other purpose such as discharging exhaust fumes from appliances burning gas or other fuels. Do not use or leave the hood without the lamp correctly mounted due to the possible risk of electric shocks.
Never use the hood without effectively mounted grids.
The hood must NEVER be used as a support surface unless specifically indicated.
Use only the fixing screws supplied with the product for installation or, if not supplied, purchase the correct screws type.
Use the correct length for the screws which are identified in the Installation Guide.
In case of doubt, consult an authorized service assistance center or similar qualified person.
Warning! Failure to install the screws or fixing device in accordance with these instructions may result in electrical hazards.
2. USE
The hood serves to aspirate the fumes and vapors resulting from cooking. The attached installation manual indicates the version to be used depending on the model you have, the suction version with
external evacuation or filtering with internal recirculation
3. INSTALLATION
The mains power supply must correspond to the rating indicated on the plate situated inside the hood. If provided with a plug, connect the hood to a socket in compliance with current regulations and positioned in an accessible area, after installation. If it is not fitted with a plug (direct mains connection) or if the plug is not located in an accessible area, after installation, apply a double pole switch in accordance with standards which assures the complete disconnection of the mains under conditions relating to over-current category III in accordance with installation instructions.
Warning! Before re-connecting the hood circuit to the mains supply and checking the efficient function, always check that the mains cable is correctly assembled.
The minimum distance between the supporting surface for the cooking equipment on the hob and the lowest part of the range hood must be not less than 50cm from electric cookers and 65cm from gas or mixed cookers. If the instructions for installation for the gas hob specify a greater distance, this must be adhered to.
4. MAINTENANCE
ATTENTION! Before performing any maintenance operation, isolate the hood from the electrical supply by switching off at the connector and removing the connector fuse.
Or if the appliance has been connected through a plug and socket, then the plug must be removed from the socket. The cooker hood should be cleaned regularly (at least with the same frequency with which you carry out maintenance of the fat filters) internally and externally. Clean using the cloth dampened with neutral liquid detergent. Do not use abrasive products. DO NOT USE ALCOHOL!
Warning! Failure to carry out the basic cleaning recommendations of the cooker hood and replacement of the filters may cause fire risks. Therefore, we recommend observing these instructions.
The manufacturer declines all responsibility for any damage to the motor or any fire damage linked to inappropriate maintenance or failure to observe the above safety recommendations.
4.1 Grease filter - The grease filter must be cleaned once a month using non aggressive detergents, either by hand or in the dishwasher, which must be set to a low temperature and a short cycle. When washed in a dishwasher, the grease filter may discolour slightly, but this does not affect its filtering capacity.

4.2 NON-washable activated charcoal filter - The saturation of the charcoal filter occurs after more or less prolonged use, depending on the type of cooking and the regularity of cleaning of the grease filter. In any case it is necessary to replace the cartridge at least every four months.
The charcoal filter may NOT be washed or regenerated.

5.CONTROLS
The hood is fitted with a control panel with aspiration speed selection control and a light switch to control cooking area lights. Use the high suction speed in cases of concentrated kitchen vapours. It is recommended that the cooker hood suction is switched on for 5 minutes prior to cooking and to leave in operation during cooking and for another 15 minutes approximately after terminating cooking.
The control switches are located on the unit's front panel:

- ON/OFF lighting
- OFF motors
- -4. -5. Minimum suction power (3.), medium (4.), maximum (5.).
6. LIGHTING
The hood is equipped with a lighting system based on LED technology.
The LEDs guarantee an optimum lighting, a duration up to 10 times as long as the traditional lamps and allow to save 90% electrical energy.

Caution! Do not look directly into the LED light.
To replace lights, contact authorised spare part center.

Before any operation on the appliance for cleaning or maintenance, disconnect it from the electrical supply by removing the plug from the socket or disconnecting the main power source. For all operations of installation and maintenance, use protective gloves. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision. If the hood is used simultaneously with appliances burning gas or other fuels, the room must have adequate ventilation. Regularly clean the hood both inside and outside (at least once a month). Cleaning must be carried out in accordance with the maintenance instructions given in this manual. Failure to follow the instructions for cleaning the hood and cleaning and replacing the filters may result in fire. Strictly forbidden to cook food over an open flame under the hood.
Avoid using open flames, as they can damage the filters and lead to fire.
The pan must be supervised to avoid overheating and fire.
Attention! When the cooking surface is working, the accessible parts of the hood may become hot.
For replacing the lamp, use only the type of lamp specified in the maintenance/replacement section of this manual.
Attention: do not connect the appliance to the electrical power supply until the installation is completely finished.
The hood is used for exhausting fumes and vapors produced during cooking.
The accompanying instructions indicate in which configuration your model can be used: as an extractor with exhaust,
or as a recirculating hood for internal air recirculation.
3. INSTALLATION
The wall must be strong enough to support the weight of the hood, as indicated in the technical data table located inside the appliance. The hood is supplied with a plug; connect the hood to a suitable socket, compliant with current regulations, which must be easily accessible, even after installation. If the hood is not supplied with a plug (direct connection to the mains) or if the socket is not accessible after installation, use a certified two-pole switch that ensures complete disconnection from the mains in case of overvoltage category III, in accordance with installation instructions.
Warning! Before connecting the electrical system of the hood to the power supply, check that it is functioning correctly and make sure that the power cable is properly installed.
The distance between the lower edge of the hood and the cooking surface must be at least 50 cm for electric hobs and at least 65 cm for gas or combined hobs. If the installation instructions for the gas hob specify a greater distance, take that into account.
4. MAINTENANCE
Warning! Before performing any cleaning or maintenance operation, disconnect the hood from the electrical power supply by removing the plug from the socket or switching off the main power source. The hood must be cleaned both inside and outside (at least as often as the grease filters are maintained). For cleaning, use a cloth dampened with neutral liquid detergent. Do not use products containing abrasive materials. DO NOT USE ALCOHOL!
Warning! Failure to follow the cleaning instructions for the appliance and the replacement of filters may lead to a risk of fire. Therefore, we recommend following the instructions provided. The manufacturer is not liable for any damage or fire caused by improper maintenance or failure to follow the above warnings.
4.1 Grease filters - The grease filters must be cleaned every month using non-aggressive detergents, either by hand or in a dishwasher at low temperature and a short cycle. Washing in a dishwasher may cause slight discoloration of the grease filter, but its filtering capacity remains completely unchanged.

4.2 Charcoal filter
The coal filter should be replaced after a sufficiently long period of operation, depending on the type of kitchen and the frequency of frying. In any case, replace the cartridge at least every 4 months. The coal filter cannot be washed or regenerated.

5. CONTROL PANEL
The hood is equipped with a control panel for controlling the speed of the exhaust fan, lighting, and illumination of the work surface. Use the intensive mode of the hood in case of particularly high concentration of cooking fumes. We recommend turning on the hood 5 minutes before starting the cooking process and leaving it on for 15 minutes after the process ends. The main switches are located on the front panel of the block:

1. ON/OFF lighting 2. Switch 3.-4.-5. Hood power: minimum (3.), medium (4.), maximum (5.)
6. LIGHTING
The hood is equipped with LED lighting on the light strips.
The light strips provide optimal lighting, and their service life is 10 times longer than that of traditional bulbs, allowing you to save 90% of electrical energy.

Attention! Protect your eyes and do not look directly at the switched-on halogen lamp.
For lamp replacement, contact a certified service center for spare parts.
