If provided with a plug connect the hood to a socket in compliance with current regulations and positioned in an accessible area, after installation. If it not fitted with a plug (direct mains connection) or if the plug is not located in an accessible area, after installation, apply a double pole switch in accordance with standards which assures the complete disconnection of the mains under conditions relating to over-current category III in accordance with installation instructions.

Warning! Before re-connecting the hood circuit to the mains supply and checking the efficient function, always check that the mains cable is correctly assembled.

The hood is provided with a special power cable; if the cable is damaged, request a new one from Technical Service. The voltage in the electrical network must correspond to the specified characteristics on the nameplate, which is located on the back of the switch. If the switch is included in the kit for connection to the electrical network, then the switch should be connected to the socket, which corresponds to the existing norms and is located in an accessible place, so that it can be done after installation. If the switch is not included in the kit (for connection to the electrical network), or the socket is not in an accessible place, then after installation, you should install a reliable two-pole switch, which ensures complete disconnection from the network in case of overvoltage of category II, in full compliance with the installation rules.

Proper use is required to reduce the impact on the environment.

Turn off the extractor hood at minimum speed after cooking and leave it running for a few more minutes. Use the speed only in case of large amounts of steam and use the boost speed only in rare situations.

Replace the filter(s) when needed to ensure the efficiency of the hood. Clean the filter(s) when needed to ensure their efficiency. Use the maximum diameter of the exhaust system in this manual to optimize efficiency and reduce noise.

CARE AND SERVICE FOR USERS

We recommend using original spare parts.

When contacting the service, make sure you have the following data available.

You can find the information on the data plate. Model, product number, serial number.

Warning/Attention - Safety information. General information and tips for the environment.

1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Warning! Follow the instructions given in this manual carefully. The manufacturer is not responsible for any problems, damage, or injury caused by failure to follow the instructions in this manual. The extractor hood is intended exclusively for domestic use.

Warning! Do not connect the appliance to the electrical supply until the installation is completely finished. Before any operation for system maintenance, disconnect the extractor hood from the electrical mains by pulling the plug or switching off the household circuit breaker.

For all installation and maintenance operations, use work gloves. The appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. Never use the extractor hood without the correctly installed filter grid!

The aspirator must not be used as a support for drying documents, as it is precisely intended for that. The space must be sufficiently ventilated when the kitchen aspirator is used together with appliances that burn gas or other fuels. The extracted air must not be discharged into an active flue used for exhaust fumes from appliances that burn gas or other fuels. Strictly forbidden is the flambéing of food under the aspirator. The use of an open flame is harmful for the filters and may cause a fire risk. Therefore, it must be carried out under constant supervision. Every use must be properly carried out with the filter to prevent it from reaching the oil saturation point and the risk of fire.

Warning! The accessible parts of the aspirator may become significantly hot when used together with cooking appliances.

Regarding the technical and safety measures for installation, it is important to follow the rules given by

the competent authorities. The aspirator must be regularly cleaned both internally and externally (at least once a month, and in any case it is necessary to proceed in accordance with the maintenance instructions given in this manual). If the instructions regarding the aspirator and its cleaning and maintenance are not followed, it may lead to a fire risk. Do not use or leave the aspirator without properly installed filters, as there is a risk of electric shock. The manufacturer declines all responsibility for problems, damage, or fires caused by the appliance as a result of non-compliance with the instructions included in this manual.

Warning! Failure to install the electrical connections or fixing devices in accordance with these instructions may lead to electrical hazards.

2. USE

The aspirator serves to extract cooking fumes and vapors from cooking. In the installation manual, it is indicated which version can be used for the model you have, between the version with external air extraction and the version with filter with recirculation of air.

3. INSTALLATION

The main electrical connection must be carried out by qualified personnel in accordance with the instructions for the characteristics indicated inside the aspirator. If the aspirator is equipped with a plug, connect it to the socket in accordance with the electrical regulations and position it in an accessible place after installation. If it is not equipped with a plug (direct connection to the electrical supply) or if the plug is not positioned in an accessible place after installation, apply a bipolar switch in accordance with the standards that ensure complete disconnection from the electrical supply under conditions of overvoltage category III, in accordance with the installation instructions.

Warning! Before (re)connecting the aspirator to the electrical supply and checking its functionality, always verify that the electrical cable is correctly installed.

The extractor hood is equipped with a control panel for operation; in case of cable detachment, contact the technical service. The minimum distance between the cooking surface and the hood must be at least 50 cm for electric cookers, 65 cm for gas or combined cookers. If the installation instructions for gas cookers specify a greater distance, this must be respected.

MAINTENANCE

Warning! Before any cleaning or maintenance operation, disconnect the hood from the electrical supply by unplugging it or switching off the main circuit breaker. The hood must be cleaned regularly (at least as often as the maintenance interval) both internally and externally. For cleaning, use a cloth dampened with neutral detergent. Do not use abrasive products. Do not use alcohol! Warning! Failure to follow the instructions regarding the hood's cleaning and filter replacement may lead to fire risk. It is recommended to follow the instructions provided. The manufacturer declines all responsibility for any motor damage or fire resulting from improper maintenance or failure to follow the instructions. Grease filter - The metal grease filter should be cleaned monthly with neutral detergent, either by hand or in the dishwasher at low temperatures and short cycles. When washed in the dishwasher, the metal grease filter may lose some of its shine, but its filtering characteristics do not change.
