How to use the CP3536 juicer?

Attach the juice container to the motor unit, then the filter sieve and the small cone (or the large cone over it for large citrus fruits). Plug in, cut a citrus fruit in half and press the half onto the cone: the motor runs automatically. Release to stop.

How to clean the juicer?

Unplug first. Wash the accessories (cones, sieve, container) in hot water with mild detergent. Do not immerse the motor unit in water, wipe it with a damp cloth.

What are the important safety precautions?

Always unplug before assembly, disassembly or cleaning. Do not use if the cord is damaged. Keep out of reach of children under 8 years of age. Do not immerse the motor unit.

What to do if the appliance does not start?

Check that the plug is properly inserted and the voltage matches. Ensure the cone is pressed: the motor only runs under pressure. If the problem persists, contact after-sales service.

Can I juice other fruits besides citrus?

This appliance is designed only for citrus fruits (oranges, lemons, grapefruits, etc.). Do not use it for other hard or stone fruits.

How to store the power cord?

After use, wind the cord clockwise and insert the plug into its holder located under the motor unit.

Should the filter sieve be cleaned after each use?

Yes, clean it immediately after use to prevent pulp buildup. Use a soft brush if necessary.

How to store the appliance when not in use?

After cleaning, reassemble the sieve, cones and dust cover on the appliance to protect it. Store it in a dry place.

USER MANUAL CP3536 SEVERIN

Before using the appliance, please read the following instructions carefully and keep this manual for future reference. The appliance must only be used by persons familiar with these instructions.

Connection to the mains supply

Make sure that the supply voltage corresponds with the voltage marked on the rating label. This product complies with all binding CE labelling directives.

Important safety instructions

• In order to avoid hazards, and to comply with safety requirements, repairs to this electrical appliance or its power cord must be carried out by our customer service. If repairs are needed, please send the appliance to our customer service department (see appendix).
  Before cleaning the appliance,

ensure it is disconnected from the power supply and has cooled down completely.

• To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not clean the base unit with liquids or immerse it.
• Clean all detachable parts with hot water and a mild detergent.

• Caution: Keep any packaging materials well away from children – these are a potential source of danger, e.g. of suffocation.
• Before the appliance is used, the main body including the power cord as well as any attachment fitted should be checked thoroughly for any faults or defects. Should the appliance, for instance, have been dropped onto a hard surface, or if excessive force has been used to pull the power cord, it must no longer be used: even invisible damage may have adverse effects on the operational safety of the appliance.
• Do not allow the appliance or its power cord to touch hot surfaces or to come into contact with any heat sources.
• When removing the plug from the wall socket, never pull on the power cord. Do not let the power cord hang free.
• Do not use the appliance with any attachments other than those provided by the manufacturer.
• No responsibility will be accepted if damage results from improper use, or if these instructions are not complied with.

Before first use

Before the juicer is used for the first time, it must be cleaned as described in the section Cleaning and care.

Power cord storage

There is a power-cord storage compartment in the base. Unwind the cord to the required length before use. After use, wind up the cord clockwise and secure the plug in the bracket.

Operation

• Attach the juice container to the drive shaft of the base unit. Turn the container clock-wise until it is heard locking into place.
• Fit the pulp sieve onto the juice container.
• Fit the smaller juicer dome over the pulp sieve and onto the drive shaft, pushing it down until it is heard locking into place.
• When processing larger citrus fruits such as oranges, the larger juicer dome can be fitted over the smaller one; ensure that the recesses on the larger dome fit over the ridges on the small dome.
• Insert the plug into a suitable wall socket.
• Cut the citrus fruit in half and push one of the halves lightly down onto the dome with the cut section facing downwards.
• The drive shaft will start rotating automatically once pressure is applied to the dome. The appliance switches off when pressure on the dome is lifted.
• For better juice extraction, the motor can rotate in either direction and may also change direction during operation.
• When processing larger quantities of fruit, the pulp sieve must be emptied from time to time as necessary.
  Always remove the plug from the wall socket before pouring out the juice.
• To pour out the extracted juice, remove the pulp sieve and the dome from the juice container, then unlock the juice container from the base unit by turning the container in an anti-clockwise direction.

Cleaning and care

• Before cleaning the appliance, remove the plug from the wall socket.
• To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not

clean the appliance with water and do not immerse it in water.

• Do not use abrasives, harsh cleaning solutions or hard brushes for cleaning.
  The base unit may be wiped with a slightly damp, lint-free cloth.
• The detachable attachment parts should be thoroughly cleaned immediately after processing, using hot water and a mild detergent.
• For periods of non-use, attach the pulp sieve, the juicer domes and the dust cover to the main unit after cleaning.

Disposal

Devices marked with this symbol must be disposed of separately from your household waste, as they contain valuable materials

which can be recycled. Proper disposal protects the environment and human health. Your local authority or retailer can provide information on the matter.

Guarantee

This product is guaranteed against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of two years from the date of purchase. Under this guarantee the manufacturer undertakes to repair or replace any parts found to be defective, providing the product is returned to one of our authorised service centres. This guarantee is only valid if the appliance has been used in accordance with the instructions, and provided that it has not been modified, repaired or interfered with by any unauthorised person, or damaged through misuse.

This guarantee naturally does not cover wear and tear, nor breakables such as glass and ceramic items, bulbs etc. This

guarantee does not affect your statutory rights, nor any legal rights you may have as a consumer under applicable national legislation governing the purchase of goods. If the product fails to operate and needs to be returned, pack it carefully, enclosing your name and address and the reason for return.
