USER MANUAL LA190108 LANAFORM
Thank you for purchasing the LANAFORM® LUMINESCENCE lamp. The LUMINESCENCE lamp works by using a very clear light source that simulates natural sunlight. Thanks to the technology and the significant luminous intensity (approx. 10,000 lux at 17 cm)*, the LUMINESCENCE lamp will help quickly restore your energy and vitality. You can use the LUMINESCENCE while carrying out other activities such as reading, writing, using the telephone, or even working. * Refer to the usage instructions for more detailed information.
EN ABOUT LIGHT EXPOSURE Light and its intensity have a major influence on our bodies. The sun’s rays are weaker in autumn and winter. Traditional artificial lighting in buildings is incapable of compensating for this deficit in natural light.
Numerous healthcare professionals agree on the benefits to the body of exposure to light. By light, they are referring to daylight of a certain intensity. In winter, light intensity does not exceed 2500 lux*, whereas it can reach 100,000 lux on a clear day in summer. LANAFORM has developed this light-emitting device specifically to enable you to benefit from an additional dosage of light during the autumn and winter months. Exposure to light consists of using a light with a strong lux coefficient* to simulate natural sunlight. * The lux is the unit of measurement for the luminance of light
