How to turn the projector on and off?

Press the Power button (☐) for 3 seconds to turn the device on or off.

How to charge the battery?

Connect the AC adapter to the projector's DC input. The LED indicator lights up orange during charging and turns green when charging is complete. Full charging takes approximately 2.5 hours. The projector must be turned off to charge the battery.

How to connect a computer to the projector?

Use the provided VGA cable. Connect it to the projector's VGA port and the computer's VGA output. Turn on the projector then the computer. You can also use the USB cable to transfer files to the internal memory or microSD card.

How to play videos from a microSD card?

Insert the microSD card into the slot (gold contacts facing down). On the home menu, select Video then choose the source MicroSD Card. Browse the files and press OK to start playback.

How to adjust the focus?

Turn the focus ring on the lens until the image is clear.

What to do if the image is upside down?

Go to the Setting menu > Display > Projection and select the correct orientation (e.g., Desktop Projection).

How to reset the projector?

You can reset via the Reset menu (erases all internal files) or use the Reset button (small hole) with a paperclip for a cold restart.

The LED indicator flashes red, what should I do?

This indicates overheating (temperature >80°C). Turn off the projector, let it cool in a ventilated area, then turn it back on. If the problem persists, contact customer service.

Can I use the projector while it is charging?

No, the battery does not charge when the projector is on. To charge, first turn off the projector. Charging starts automatically after cooling.

How to update the firmware?

Download the latest update file from www.optoma.com. Copy the 'update' folder to the root of a microSD card. Insert the card into the turned-on projector and follow the on-screen instructions.
