How to turn the Optoma ML550 projector on and off?

To turn on, plug in the AC adapter, then press the Power button on the control panel or remote control. To turn off, press the Power button once, then a second time after the confirmation message appears. Then unplug the power cord.

How to adjust the projection height and angle?

Use the tilt adjustment wheel located at the front of the projector to tilt the image. The tilt range is 0 to 6 degrees. Make sure to fully retract the feet before storing the device.

How to correct a distorted image (keystone)?

Press the Keystone adjustment button on the remote control or control panel, then use the arrow keys to adjust keystone correction (up to ±40 degrees). This function is not available in multimedia mode.

What to do if no image is displayed?

Check that the projector is on (blue light). Make sure the correct source is selected in the Source menu. Check cable connections. If using a laptop, enable external output (e.g., Fn+F4).

How to connect a computer to the projector?

Use the universal 24-pin to VGA/Audio cable provided. Connect the universal connector to the projector and the VGA to the computer. You can also use an HDMI cable if your computer supports it.

How to play files via USB or MicroSD?

Plug in a USB drive or insert a MicroSD card into the projector. Open the Source menu, select USB or MicroSD. Choose the file type (Photo, Video, Music, Office) from the multimedia menu. Use the arrow keys to navigate and start playback.

How to adjust the image focus?

Turn the focus ring on the lens until the image is sharp. The projection distance must be between 97 cm and 258 cm.

Why is the remote control not working?

Check that the CR2025 battery is correctly inserted and not depleted. Replace if necessary. Make sure not to block the infrared sensor on the projector and that you are within the operating range (about 5 meters).

How to clean the projector?

Unplug the device before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the casing. Do not use liquids, solvents, or abrasive products. Clean the ventilation grilles regularly to prevent overheating.

What to do in case of overheating (blinking orange TEMP indicator)?

The projector shuts down automatically if overheated. Let it cool down for a few minutes. Make sure the ventilation grilles are not blocked and the ambient temperature does not exceed 35°C. If the problem persists, contact after-sales service.
