Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance. Keep this instruction manual for future reference or new users.
- Do not leave the iron unattended while connected to the power supply.
- The iron must be used and placed on a stable, flat surface.
- Do not use the iron if it has been dropped, shows visible damage, or is leaking.
- Keep the appliance and its power cord out of reach of children under 8 years old when plugged in or cooling down.
- Unplug the appliance before filling up the water tank.
- Filling openings that are under pressure must not be opened during use.
- All safety instructions must be closely followed when using the appliance.
- Ensure that the mains voltage matches the voltage specified on the appliance rating label and that the plug is earthed.
- This appliance can be used by children aged 8 and above and people with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, as long as they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance should not be carried out by children without supervision.
- This appliance is intended for domestic use only and is not suitable for use in commercial establishments such as bars, restaurants, farms, hotels, motels, and offices.
- Inspect the power cord regularly for visible damage, especially the charger cable, plug, and housing. If the cord is damaged, it must be replaced by Cecotec's Official Technical Support Service to avoid any danger.

Do not immerse the cord, plug, or any other non-removable part of the appliance in water or any other liquid or expose electrical connections to water. Make sure your hands are dry before handling the plug or switching on the appliance.

Warning: never immerse the appliance in water. Do not touch the water!
- Do not twist, bend, pull, or damage the power cord. Protect it from sharp edges and heat sources. Do not allow the cable to touch hot surfaces. Do not let the cable hang over the edge of the surface or worktop.
- This appliance is not designed to operate through external timers or remote control systems.
- Switch off and unplug the product from the power supply when not in use, when filling the water tank, and before cleaning it. To unplug the appliance, pull the plug, not the cord.
- Do not use any accessory that has not been recommended by Cecotec, as they might cause injuries or damage.
- Be careful when tilting or turning the appliance: there may still be hot water inside. Avoid moving the appliance abruptly to minimise the risk of spillage.
- Caution: hot surface. The temperature of accessible surfaces may be high while the appliance is in use and could cause burns. Do not touch hot surfaces during operation or immediately after.
- Be careful when using the appliance: the steam emission can be dangerous if used improperly. Do not aim steam at people or animals and do not apply steam to worn clothes to avoid risk of burns.
- It is not recommended to use the appliance on leather, suede, vinyl, plastic, or other steam-sensitive fabrics.
- Do not use the device when the water tank is empty.
- Do not allow the power cord to come into contact with high-temperature steam during product operation.

- All our ironing range products have undergone quality control tests previous to their commercialisation. These tests consist of filling the water tank in order to check tightness and to ensure the correct operation of the device. Once the test has been carried out, the tank is emptied and dried, but some water may still remain inside.

2. BEFORE USE
- This appliance comes in a packaging designed to protect it during transport. Remove the appliance from its box. You can keep the original box and other packaging materials in a safe place to prevent damage to the appliance if you need to transport it in the future. If you wish to dispose of the original packaging, make sure all items are recycled properly.
- Check that all parts and components are included and in good condition. If any of them are missing or damaged, please contact Cecotec's Official Technical Support Service immediately.

3. OPERATION
Before first use
- Remove any labels, stickers, or protective film that may be attached to the body or the soleplate.
In the first minutes of use a slight smoke and odor may be emitted. This is normal and will disappear shortly; it does not affect performance.
ENGLISH
Filling the water tank
- Ensure that the iron is unplugged from the power socket before filling the water tank.
- Remove the water tank and open the lid.
For the first use, fill the water tank with tap water. - If the water in your area is particularly hard, it is recommended to use distilled water.
- Ensure that the lid is properly closed, replace the tank securely, and wipe up any spills on the appliance's exterior.
Do not add perfume, vinegar, starch, descaling agents, chemically decalcified water or other additives or chemicals to the water tank.
Temperature setting
This appliance operates at a fixed temperature. It is suitable for most fabrics that can be steamed.
• Always start by testing on an inconspicuous area of the garment.
- Keep the soleplate at a distance from the fabric and gradually move it closer only if necessary.
- Move the appliance in continuous movements while pressing the steam button. Avoid staying in one spot.
Start-up and use
- Place the appliance on a stable surface.
- Connect the plug to a mains socket.
The power indicator light will illuminate and remain on during operation.
• Once you see steam coming out of the soleplate, you can start ironing.
Caution: Do not direct the steam jet towards people or animals. Risk of burns or serious injury.
Vertical steam
- Hold the appliance by the handle with the soleplate in vertical position, facing the hanging garment.
- Press and hold the steam button to apply steam, release it to stop the steam output.
- Move the head slowly up and down, at a short distance from the fabric, until the wrinkles are removed.
Usage notes
• Vertical use is especially useful for hanging garments, curtains and upholstery.
4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Safety precautions
- Disconnect the power plug and allow the soleplate to cool down completely before cleaning.
Do not immerse the appliance in water or wash it under running water.
Do not use scouring pads, abrasives, solvents or spray cleaners.
Maintenance after each use
• Empty the water tank.
- Briefly press the steam button (while the appliance is still hot and in vertical position) to purge residual water from the circuit. Then allow to cool.
- Clean the exterior with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry. Prevent water from entering the power indicator light.
• Only store the appliance when it is completely dry.
Cleaning the soleplate
- With the soleplate cool, wipe with a damp microfibre cloth and, if necessary, use a soft cotton bud around the holes.
- Do not insert sharp or metallic objects into the holes in the soleplate.
Steam system descaling
• Indicative frequency: every 1-3 months, depending on water hardness and use.
Citric acid method:
- Ensure the appliance is unplugged and cool.
- Dissolve food grade citric acid at approx. 5 % (e.g. 10 g in 200 ml of lukewarm water).
- Fill the water tank halfway with the solution and close the tank lid.
- With the appliance held vertically, plug it in, wait for steam to emerge and activate the steam button in 5–10 second bursts for 1–2 minutes. Switch off and leave for 15 minutes.
- Empty the tank, rinse it 2-3 times with clean water. Refill with clean water and steam for 1-2 minutes to rinse the circuit.
- Empty and dry the exterior with a cloth.
- Precautions:
Do not exceed the indicated concentration and contact time.
Do not use vinegar or commercial descalers unless they are specific for steam irons.

Storage
• Empty the water tank if the appliance is not going to be used for an extended period.
- Coil the cable without tension and store the product in a stable position, in a dry and ventilated place.
