Step 1. Fig. 2

Use 4 bolts (12) and 4 washers (13) to assemble the front anti-roll bar (5) and the rear anti-roll bar (6) to the main frame (1). Use the S6 Allen key (8) to tighten the screws.

Step 2. Fig. 3

  1. First, attach connector 2 (17) to the main frame (1) with connector 1 (16) above the main bar, and then insert the bar into the frame (1).
  2. Remove 4 screws (10) and 4 washers (11) from the kit (7) and use them to fix the handlebar (4). Use the S6 Allen key (8) to tighten the screws and fit the plastic trim (2).
  3. Attach connectors (4) and (16) to the monitor (15). Then install the monitor (15) on the main frame (1).

Step 3. Fig. 4.

  1. First, tighten the pedal (3) on the crank with your hand.
  2. Use the S15 of the lug wrench (9) to install the pedals (3) on the left and right cranks of the main frame (1). Distinguish between left (L) and right (R) and follow the direction of the arrow in Figure 4. Use the S19 of the wrench (14) to tighten the parallel nuts 3L and 3R backwards (according to the direction of the arrow in Figure 4).

Step 4. Fig. 5

Attach the bottle holder (18) to the handlebar (4) using three screws (19) as shown in Figure 5.

4. OPERATION

Adjusting the bike

Adjusting the handlebar height

Fig. 6

  • Make sure the handlebar's height is approximately at the same height as the saddle. Remember that this parameter will depend on the biomechanics and physiology of the user. If in this position you feel uncomfortable or your knees touch the handlebar, you should increase the height slightly.
  • Use one hand to loosen the crank handle on the main frame and pull it outwards, while holding the centre part of the handlebar with the other hand to lift (or press down) to adjust it to the desired position.
  • Loosen the crank and move it gently up and down.
  • Move the handlebar post to allow it to readjust automatically (a click is heard, indicating that it has slipped into the hole in the stem) and then turn the crank until it is tight.
  • The adjustment cannot exceed the minimum insertion mark in the handlebar (marked with the word STOP in the post).

Adjusting the height and position of the saddle

Fig. 7

  • To adjust the height of the saddle, remember that the correct position is the one in which your waist is not tilted to the side when the pedal is in the lower position and the foot is perfectly inserted in the toe clips.
  • For a correct use of the device and to avoid possible injuries in the knees, the horizontal adjustment of the saddle is extremely important. The correct position is the one in which, when the two pedal cranks are in the horizontal position, your front knee is right over the pedal centre.
  • Use one hand to loosen the adjustment knob on the main frame and pull it outwards, while holding the centre part of the saddle stem with the other hand to lift it (or press it down) to adjust it to the desired position.
  • Loosen the adjustment knob and move it gently up and down.
  • Move the seat post so that the spring automatically readjusts (it clicks, indicating that the crank has slipped into the hole in the seat post), then tighten the crank until it is tight.
  • Loosen the adjustment knob under the saddle, slide the saddle back and forth, adjust it to the desired position and turn the adjustment knob until it is tight.
  • The adjustment cannot exceed the minimum insertion mark in the saddle (marked with the word STOP in the post).

Adjusting the main body

Fig. 8

There are four adjustment feet distributed under the front and rear anti-roll bars. Turn the adjustment feet to bring them closer to or farther from the ground until there is no vibration.

How to get on and off the bike

  • To get on the bike, the first thing to do is to make sure that the bike is at a complete standstill. Stand next to the bike and pass the leg that is closer to it over the frame to sit on the saddle, then insert your feet in the toe clips in the pedals.
  • To get off the bike, do the previous step in reverse order.

Adjusting the resistance

Fig. 9

Turn the resistance adjustment wheel clockwise to increase the resistance and counterclockwise to decrease the resistance. A high resistance makes it more difficult to pedal, while a low resistance makes it easier. For best results, set the tension while the bike is in use. Make sure your feet are correctly adjusted in the toe clips to prevent any undesired movement.

Emergency brake

In the event of an emergency requiring a complete braking of the bike, the resistance selector knob must be pushed inwards firmly until it stops, and the machine will completely stop.

Moving the bike

Fig. 10

Hold the front anti-roll bar of the main frame with your feet first, grab the handlebar with both hands, and firmly press down the front of the bike. After lifting the rear anti-roll bar, you can move the bike.

Information on exercising

A proper workout should consist of the following three activities:

  • Warm-up: consisting of 5 to 10 minutes of stretching and light exercise. A proper warm-up increases your body temperature, heart rate, and circulation in preparation for exercise. Fig. 12
  • Training: exercise for 20 to 30 minutes (note: during the first weeks of exercise, do not keep your heart rate high for more than 20 minutes). Fig. 13
  • Cool-down: 5 to 10 minutes of stretching exercises. This will increase the flexibility of your muscles and will help prevent injuries. Fig. 12

Workout routine

To maintain or improve your physical condition, exercise three times per week, with at least one day of rest between workouts. After a few months of regular exercise, you may exercise up to five times per week, if desired. For best results you must be consistent when exercising.

Monitor

Fig. 11

  • (1) SPEED (RPM): measures instantaneous speed, reflecting movement speed.
  • (2) CALORIES (CAL): measures the calories burned from start to end of the exercise.
  • (3) DIST: measures the distance travelled from start to end of movement.
  • (4) TIME: measures the time elapsed from start to end of the exercise.
  • (5) Heart rate: displays heart rate when hands are on the sensors located on the handlebars.
  • The display switches on automatically when you start pedalling and switches off approximately 30 seconds after the end of the exercise.

Note:

Note that if you stop the exercise for approximately 30 seconds, the device will turn off and all values will be reset.
