How to use the turbo function?
Press the Turbo button (1) for a brief use at very high speed. A pulsed press gives a pulse operation. Do not use for more than 3 minutes consecutively.

General Safety Instructions

  • Read the operating instructions carefully before putting the appliance into operation and keep the instructions including the warranty, the receipt and, if possible, the box with the internal packing.
  • The appliance is designed exclusively for private use and for the envisaged purpose. This appliance is not fit for commercial use. Do not use it outdoors (except if it is designed to be used outdoors). Keep it away from sources of heat, direct sunlight, humidity (never dip it into any liquid) and sharp edges. Do not use the appliance with wet hands. If the appliance is humid or wet, unplug it immediately. Do not put it in water.
  • When cleaning or putting it away, switch off the appliance and always pull out the plug from the socket (pull on the plug, not the cable) if the appliance is not being used and remove the attached accessories.
  • Never leave the appliance unsupervised. To protect children from the dangers posed by electrical appliances, make sure that the cable is hanging low and that children do not have access to the appliance.
  • Check the appliance and the cable for damage on a regular basis. Do not use the appliance if it is damaged.

Special Safety Instructions for this Machine

  • Do not touch any moving parts of the machine and always wait for it to stop.
  • In order to avoid splashing, always insert the rods fully into the food being mixed before you switch the mixer on.
    Only mix or whisk food with this machine.
  • Do not operate the mixer for more than 5 minutes! Then let it cool down for approximately 10 minutes before using it again!

Initial Operation

Ensure that the machine is not connected to the mains.

Assembly of the Whisk/Kneading Hook/Beater

  • Press the two whisks or kneading hooks on the bottom by turning slightly until they lock in place.
  • If you would like to use the beater, pull the tab on the back of the machine upwards and insert the beater. Please make sure when inserting the beater that the arrow on the machine and the arrow on the rod of the beater are located one above the other. Turn the rod of the beater firmly in a clockwise direction. The rod of the beater should be released in the reverse order.

Note:

The kneading hook/whisk must be inserted into the correct opening of the mixer!

Assembly of the Wall Mounting

Fix the wall mounting in place with the material supplied.
- Then press the machine into the wall mounting.
- In order to remove the hand mixer from the wall mounting, press and hold down the reject button (3). Then pull the mixer straight out.

Using the Machine

  1. Please ensure that the speed switch (2) is turned to "0/OFF".
  2. Connect the mixer to a properly installed power socket, 230V 50Hz
  3. Insert the kneading hook or whisk into the food to be mixed. Set the desired speed with the speed switch (2):

  4. Kneading hook: butter, potatoes, light mixture

  5. Whisk: sauscs, milk mix, etc., desserts, pudding, egg white, frothy cream.
  6. Beater: salad dressings, light pancakes, mixtures, pesto

  7. Tilt the machine slightly up and down.

Note: For optimum results use high-walled vessels that are not too large.

Turbo Switch (1)

This is for switching to maximum speed for a short time. Press at short intervals for pulsed mode operation.

WARNING: Do not use this function for more than 3 minutes!

Releasing the kneading hook / whisk

In order to release the hook, press the release button (3).

Cleaning

  • Disconnect the machine from the mains.
    Clean the machine after use with a dry cloth.
  • Clean the equipment in the usual way in soapy water.

The guarantee lapses in case of unauthorized tampering.
