Fun Style, your new beauty ally, is a styling tool with many accessories that are fully ready to fulfil your most personal styling desires.

USE

To connect an attachment to the unit before turning it on, hold the handle with the switch facing up. Place the metal rods of the attachment into the connectors inside the body of the unit. Press the accessory in firmly and lock the unit by turning the ring towards "LOCK".

To remove the attachment after use, first allow it to cool completely. Turn the ring towards "RELEASE", then pull the attachment to remove.

Plug in and place the switch on II. The indicator light should light on. Allow a few minutes to heat. When the heat ready dot on the

barrel turns white, the appliance has reached optimum styling temperature. Take care not to touch the barrel when using the appliance, as it gets very hot.

1.Irons (Fig. 1)

• Section damp or dry hair evenly, and comb through before styling. Pressing the automatic curl release, place curling tong midway up the hair section and spread hair evenly between spoon and barrel. Once hair is in place, carefully let go of curl release so that hair is held securely between spoon and barrel.
• Roll the hair around the tong from the tips to the point where you want the curls to begin. Don't let the tong touch your scalp. Hold the tong in place for 10 to 15 seconds.
• Trick: for tighter and bouncer curls, work with only a little hair at a time. For gentler, looser curls, work with more hair at a time.
• To avoid kinks in your hair, make sure your hair is properly rolled under the clamp in the direction you want your hair to curl. Place the clamp on top of the section to curl the hair under. To curl your hair out, place the clamp under the section.
• To remove the curling tong, press the clamp lever to open. To "set" the curl, wait until your hair has cooled before handling.
• Trick: for better hold, mist the section lightly with hairspray before curling.

2. Brush Sleeve Attachment

• For gentler curls or a gentler style, use the slip-on brush with the curling tong. Make sure the barrel is cool. Slide the brush over the barrel. Take up a section of hair and roll around the brush, hold for about 15 seconds and gently unroll. Allow your hair to cool before combing or brushing.
• Trick: for better hold, mist the section of hair lightly with hairspray before working with it.

3. Spiral Sleeve Attachment (Fig. 2)

For tight and well-shaped curls, use the slip-on spiral with the curling tong.

• Make sure the barrel is cool. Slide the slip-on spiral over the tong.
  Take up a section of hair of about 2-3cm and roll it carefully around the spiral, hold for about 15 seconds and unroll it gently.
• Allow your hair to cool before styling.
• Trick: for better hold, mist the section of hair lightly with hairspray before working with it.

4. Ceramic-coated straightening/crimping plates (Fig. 3)

Use of the crimping plates

• Work with dry hair. Take up a section of hair, place it between the plates and then close the plates. Hold the unit closed for about 15 seconds. Release, and then take up the next part of the section using the last wave as a guide. Always work from the roots to the tips.
• For a more marked effect, first mist the section with hairspray and hold the unit closed for a little longer.
• Trick: for best results, work on straight hair or hair that has first been straightened.

Use of straightening plates

• Use the straighteners on dry hair taking up small sections at a time. Holding the hair taut and beginning at the roots, slide the straighteners the length of the hair. Work smoothly so as to avoid creating a ridge in the middle of the section.
• For short, curly styles, use a spray gel.
• To soften and tame curly hair, use the straighteners on the lengths of the hair only, leaving the hair curly at the roots to keep body and volume. For this kind of hairstyle, use the straighteners following the shape of the style.

The straightening plates can also be used for accenting particular sections (fringe, outer movement, etc.).

• For styles with the ends curled under, use the unit as described above but turn the hair under (just as you would with a brush when blow drying). Hold for a few seconds then release.
• For styles with the ends curled out, use the same movement but turn the ends in the other direction.

MAINTENANCE OF THE UNIT

• Unplug the unit and allow to cool completely before cleaning or storing.
• We advise you clean the brush regularly to avoid build-up of hair, styling products, etc. Use a comb to remove hair from the brush. Use a dry or very slightly damp cloth for the plastic and ceramic surfaces.
• Store the body of the unit and the attachments in the pouch provided until the next time you use it.
