Frequently Asked Questions - AD 6316 ADLER

How much oil should I put in the AD 6316 deep fryer?
Fill the tank up to the MAX mark (about 2.5 liters). Never exceed this level to avoid overflow.
Can I use olive oil in the deep fryer?
Yes, but prefer an oil that withstands heat like sunflower or peanut oil. Extra virgin olive oil has a lower smoke point.
How to clean the tank and basket?
Let it cool completely, then remove the tank and basket. They are dishwasher safe or can be cleaned with soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge.
What should I do if the deep fryer stops heating?
Check that the thermostat is set to a sufficient temperature and that the appliance is properly plugged in. If the problem persists, contact Adler after-sales service.
Can I fry frozen foods?
Yes, but dry them well with a towel to avoid oil splatters. Lower the temperature by 10°C to compensate for cooling.
How to change the oil?
Wait for the oil to cool, then filter it with a coffee filter and funnel to remove residues. You can reuse it 8 to 10 times if it stays clear.
The deep fryer turns off by itself, is this normal?
Yes, it is equipped with a safety shut-off in case of overheating. If this happens frequently, reduce the amount of oil or food.
What is the best temperature for fries?
For homemade fries, preheat to 180°C. Fry for 4-5 minutes, then increase to 190°C to brown. Use a thermometer if necessary.
Is the anti-odor filter washable?
Yes, remove the filter and wash it with soapy water. Dry it completely before putting it back. Replace it every 6 months for optimal efficiency.
Can I use the deep fryer without the lid?
It is not recommended because the lid protects against splatters and maintains the temperature. However, you can remove the lid to monitor cooking if necessary.
