This Handmixer set is suitable for kneading dough, mixing liquids (e.g. fruit juice), whipping cream and for blending fruits. All other uses or modification of the set are not intended by the manufacturer and could entail risk of damage or injury.

operation. Make sure that long hair, scarves, etc. never hang over the attachments. Carelessness can lead to serious injury!

  • Never fix attachments with different functions to the appliance at the same time.
    Caution!

The knife on the blending rod is sharp. Care must therefore be exercised at all times when handling the rod.
The power cable must never come close to or in contact with hot parts of the appliance or other sources of heat. Never leave the mains lying on edges or corners.

Use of the appliance

Use of beater blades ④ and kneading hooks ⑤

Preparation

  1. Clean the attachments (⑬, ⑭, ⑮) and the mixing bowl ⑨ before the first use.
  2. Slide the beater blades ④ or kneading hooks ⑤ into the appliance until they are secure and you hear a distinct locking sound.

Always insert the kneading hook with the cogwheel into the intended opening in the Handmixer (indicated with a cogwheel).

  1. Unlock the mixer support ⑤ by pressing the support release button ⑩ and fold the support upward (Fig. 2).
  2. Remove the mixing bowl ⑨ and fill with ingredients according to the quantities required (Fig. ②).
  3. Replace the mixing bowl ⑨ onto the appliance stand ⑧ .
  4. Press the support release button ⑩ and fold the support ⑤ down.
  5. Place the Handmixer onto the support ⑤.
  6. Connect the plug ② to the mains.

Kneading/beater blades

  1. To start the mixer, turn the speed control ① to the right. You can choose from between 5 speed settings or the turbo button ⑩ (see Chapter "Speed settings").
  2. During the mixing operation, flour sometimes gets stuck to the mixing bowl. If this happens, always turn off the appliance immediately. Use the enclosed scraper ⑥ to

remove any remaining dough or flour from the side and edge of the bowl.

  1. When you wish to remove the contents of the bowl, first switch off the Handmixer. Then press the support release button ⑩ , fold the support ⑤ upwards and take the mixing bowl ⑨ from the stand ⑧ .
  2. Press the unlocking button ④ to remove the Handmixer and then press ejection button ② in order to release the beater blades ⑤ or kneading rods.

Use of the blending rod

Preparation

  1. You will find the insert position for the blending rod at the back of the Handmixer ③ . This is covered for safety reasons. Before attaching the blending rod you must first open the safety device ③ .
  2. Press the rod in until this locks into position and then twist until secure.

Blending

  1. The blending rod ⑧ is operated exclusively with the turbo button ① (see Chapter "Speed settings"). Hold the turbo button ① down during use. As soon as you release this button the motor will stop.
  2. In order to prevent overflowing, ensure that the blending vessel is never more than 23 full. We recommend a vessel of approx. 18 cm in height and with a diameter of approx. 11 cm.

  3. To ensure that ingredients get ideally mixed, the material to be blended must cover at least the bottom section of the blending rod.

  4. Do not switch on the mixer until you have lowered the rod into the material to be blended.
  5. Never use the blending rod for hard materials, such as coffee beans, ice cubes, sugar, cereals, chocolate, raw potatoes, etc.
  6. When you are finished using the Handmixer, return the speed control ① to the "0" position and disconnect the plug.
  7. To clean the blending rod screw out of the inset position ②.
  8. The enclosed fixing clip can be used for holding the power cable.

Caution!

  1. Always allow the Handmixer to rest for a few minutes after every 5 minutes of constant use – in particular after using the blending rod ⑧ .
  2. Never keep the appliance in constant operation for more than 10 minutes!
  3. Never dip the blending rod ⑧ into water. Clean only the bottom part with knife under flowing water.

Cleaning

  1. Make sure the plug is disconnected before cleaning the appliance.
  2. Clean the housing ⑥ only with a damp cloth and if necessary with a mild cleaning agent.
  3. Beater blades ④ or kneading hook ⑤ can be cleaned under running water or in the dishwasher.
  4. We recommend that all attachments be cleaned directly after use. This will prevent food residues accumulating and remove the risk of germs.

Disposal

The packing consists of 100% environment-friendly materials, which you can dispose of at your local recycling points.
