RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK DO NOT OPEN

Caution:

To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not remove the cover or the rear part of the device. There are no user-serviceable parts inside. Maintenance and repair should be performed only by qualified service personnel.

Explanation of graphic symbols:

BLAUPUNKT LS200SUB - Explanation of graphic symbols: - 1

The lightning flash with arrowhead symbol within an equilateral triangle alerts the user to the presence of uninsulated "dangerous voltage" within the device's enclosure that may be of sufficient magnitude to constitute a risk of electric shock.

BLAUPUNKT LS200SUB - Explanation of graphic symbols: - 2

The exclamation point within an equilateral triangle alerts the user to the presence of important operating and maintenance instructions in the literature accompanying the device.

2. Wall mounting:

a. Using the soundbar as a template, mark 2 holes on the wall at the same distance as the holes in the soundbar's wall bracket. Then drill the holes for mounting. b. Insert plastic wall plugs into the wall and screw the screws into the plastic plugs, do not tighten the screws fully, leave some space. c. After the screws are properly in place, hang the soundbar by inserting the screws into the wall bracket.

Wired audio connection and settings

First turn on the device before turning on the soundbar. The soundbar has digital (optical and HDMI (ARC)) and analog (AUX IN) inputs for various sources. You can find connection instructions below, depending on the device you have.

1. Connecting the soundbar to TV outputs.

Remove the protective cap from the OPTICAL connector, then use an optical cable (not supplied) to connect the TV's OPTICAL OUT port to the OPTICAL input jack on the soundbar. The connection via HDMI (ARC) / AUX connector is the same.

  1. Connecting the soundbar to a TV receiver. Check which outputs your set-top box has, then use the appropriate cable to connect the set-top box to the soundbar. For proper operation, it is sufficient to connect with one type of connector. See the drawing below.

  1. Connect the soundbar to a DVD or Blu-ray DVD player. Check which outputs your DVD / Blu-ray DVD player has, then use the appropriate cable to connect the device to the soundbar. For proper operation, it is sufficient to connect with one type of connector. See the drawing below:

  1. Connecting the soundbar to an MP3 player. The soundbar has one MP3 Link (AUX) input to which any MP3 player can be connected. Use a suitable cable terminated with mini plugs as shown in the figure below.

3.5mm to 3.5mm audio cable (not included) Phone Media player

Note:

  1. If there is no sound from the soundbar when connected via optical or HDMI cable, check whether the digital audio output setting of the source device (e.g., DVD player, game console, TV) is set to "PCM stereo" or "stereo 2.0". Refer to the user manual of the TV or other source device for this procedure.
  2. HDMI (ARC): The soundbar supports the HDMI ARC standard. If your TV is HDMI ARC compliant (see your TV's user manual for details), you can listen to TV audio through the soundbar using a single HDMI cable (not supplied). The HDMI ARC port on your TV may be labeled differently; see your TV's user manual.
  3. Audio output in optical and HDMI modes may be louder than in AUX IN mode, which is normal because the level of the digital audio signal can differ from the level of the analog signal.
  4. After proper installation and connection of the soundbar, use it according to this user manual.

Operation

Power connection: Check that the power source matches the voltage specification on the rear panel of the soundbar and subwoofer. If it does not match, contact the dealer or service center. Plug the supplied power plug into a wall outlet for the power source.
