Clock radio with Bluetooth
Important Notes
- Safety and operating instructions should be retained for future reference.
- The apparatus should not be exposed to dripping or splashing or placed in a humid atmosphere such as a bathroom.
- Do not install the product in the following areas:
- Places exposed to direct sunlight or close to radiators.
- On top of other stereo equipment that radiate too much heat.
- Blocking ventilation or in a dusty area.
- Areas where there is constant vibration. • Humid or moist places.
- Do not place near candles or other naked flames.
- Operate the product only as instructed in this manual.
- Before turning on the power for the first time, make sure the power adaptor is properly connected.
For safety reasons, do not remove any covers or attempt to gain access to the inside of the product. Refer any servicing to qualified personnel.
Do not attempt to remove any screws, or open the casing of the unit; there are no user serviceable parts inside. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel.

- Battery

Install all batteries correctly, + and - as marked on the apparatus.
Do not mix batteries (old and new or carbon and alkaline, etc.)

Power on clock radio
Insert the AC/DC adaptor into any 230V AC household outlet. Then insert the DC jack into the back of the unit. The display will light up and the unit will be ready to work. Long press (2 seconds) the power button to power off (display off) or on the radio. Short press it to switch play mode between FM, Bluetooth, and clock.
Backup battery installation
The radio requires 1 x CR2025 type battery (not included) to provide backup power for setting memory in the event of a temporary power interruption.
Place the unit face down on a flat and soft surface. Use a coin to turn the battery cover anticlockwise at the back of the unit. Insert one new CR2025 battery into the battery compartment, observing the “+” polarity facing upward. Replace the battery cover and turn it clockwise to lock it. The time and all settings will be kept in case of AC power interruption, as long as the backup battery is available.
Please dispose of the power-exhausted battery in an environmentally friendly way according to your local government requirements. Make sure a fresh CR2025 battery is used. A fresh battery can back up the clock continuously for around 3 weeks.
Display brightness adjustment/Dimmer: short press the dimmer button repeatedly to switch and select the display brightness between high, low, and off levels.
Clock time setting: short press the power button repeatedly to enter the clock time interface. Short press the set button to select 12/24 hour format. Long press (2 seconds) the set button to start the time setting procedure, and the hour digits will flash on the display. Press the previous/next button to adjust the desired hour, and press and hold it to accelerate the adjustment at high speed. Short press the play/pause button to confirm and skip to minute setting. Press the previous/next button to adjust it, then press the play/pause button to finish.
Alarm setting: short press the power button repeatedly to enter the clock time interface. Long press (2 seconds) the alarm1 button to start the alarm setting procedure, and the hour digits will flash on the display. Press the previous/next button to adjust the desired hour, and press and hold it to accelerate the adjustment at high speed. Short press the play/pause button to confirm and skip to minute setting. Use the same method to finish the rest of the settings for alarm1's minute, alarm source, and alarm volume (between 15~30 level) selection, and press the play/pause button to finish. Then the unit skips to alarm2 setting directly, which is the same operation as alarm1. Short press the alarm button repeatedly to turn on alarm1, alarm2, or both on the display. A relevant alarm icon will show on the right top corner of the display, which means the alarm is working now.
Alarm on/off: you need to turn on the alarm after finishing the alarm setting. Press the alarm button repeatedly to turn on or off alarm1 and alarm2. Please make sure the relevant alarm icon LED lights up on the display after your selection.
Alarm and snooze: When the unit is sounding due to the alarm time being reached, press the power button to cancel the voice, and it will wake up again at the same time the next day. If you short press the snooze button, the snooze function will activate. The alarm will silence temporarily and wake up again after 9 minutes. Long press (2 seconds) the snooze button to check the remaining snooze time on the display. Short press the power button to cancel the snooze function.
Note:
- The unit will exit the clock or alarm setting mode if no key is pressed for approximately 5 seconds.
- If your second alarm activates while the first alarm is sounding or is in snooze mode, the second alarm overrides the first alarm (the first alarm will reset to come on the next day).
- The alarm only works when the DC/AC power adapter is connected. Please double-check the alarm setting in case of power interruption.
- The alarm voice duration time is 1 hour. FM radio and buzzer are available to select as alarm source.
Radio operation
Before listening to the radio, please fully extend the antenna and move the unit next to the window in order to get better FM reception. Short press the power button repeatedly to enter radio mode; press and hold volume +/- to adjust the output volume level.
All-in-one scan (auto scan and save as preset stations): Long press (2 seconds) the play/pause button to scan and save the available stations automatically, max supported up to 60 preset stations. Short press the previous/next button to select and switch the preset station. Short press the play/pause button to mute the sound, press it again to resume the output.
Manual memory station: Short press the set button first, then press the previous or next button repeatedly and immediately to tune the available station step by step under 0.1MHz. When you tune to a favorite station, short press the set button immediately again, and the current station will be saved automatically. The preset station number will be sequenced automatically from low to high radio frequency.
Repeat the above operation to manually save other stations.
Remove noise or weak preset station: Long press the set button (2 seconds) to remove the current playing preset station, and the next preset will move forward and replace it.
Bluetooth operation
This product includes Bluetooth function which can wirelessly play music from other Bluetooth devices (like smart phones, tablets, etc.).
- Short press the power button repeatedly to enter Bluetooth mode. The Bluetooth symbol will flash on the display, which means the unit is ready to pair.
- Enable the Bluetooth function on your device, and search for available devices (please reference your device manual for operation). Then check the available Bluetooth devices on the
list. Select "BP CR65" for pairing. The Bluetooth symbol will become stable on the display after successful pairing.
- Select and play music from your Bluetooth device. Press and hold the volume +/- button to adjust the volume level on the radio side, and adjust the volume level on your Bluetooth device. The sound will then play wirelessly from the speaker.
- Press the previous/next button to select the last or next track. Press the play/pause button to play or pause playback. Long press (2 seconds) the play/pause button to disconnect the current Bluetooth device, but remain ready to pair with another device.
Notices:
- Due to different designs and brands, not all Bluetooth devices are guaranteed to pair successfully.
- The best working distance for Bluetooth is within 10 meters without any obstacles in between.
- The unit can only pair and work with one Bluetooth device at a time.
- In case of an incoming phone call during Bluetooth playback, the music will stop temporarily and resume after the call ends.
Sleep: In audio mode (FM radio or Bluetooth), long press (2 seconds) the sleep button repeatedly to switch the sleep time between 5/10/15/30/60/off. Select your desired sleep time and keep it for a while to activate the sleep function. The unit will turn off and switch to standby mode automatically when the sleep time elapses. Press and hold the sleep button to check the remaining sleep time on the display.
Troubleshooting
1. The speaker cannot turn on.
a. Please check if the power connection is correct.
2. No sound output.
a. Please try to adjust the volume knob and check the play source. b. Please contact the service center for support if the issue remains.
3. Background noise on FM station.
a. Try to move the unit to another place for better reception. b. Scan and switch to another station for listening.
4. Intermittent sound output in Bluetooth mode
a. Please try to move your Bluetooth device closer to the radio. b. Please refer to the manual for re-pairing.
5. The sound output is too small in Bluetooth mode.
a. Please check the volume level on both your Bluetooth device and the radio.
