FCC Compliance and Advisory Statement. This hardware device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: 1) this device may not cause harmful interference, and 2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation. This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed or used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. 1. During software installation, you are prompted to connect the camera USB cable to the USB port:

2. Wait until you receive the software prompt before inserting the cable into the computer's USB port.

3. Complete software and hardware installation.
4. Place camera on notebook screen. (See step 4 for more information.)

Launch the Software

1. To launch the software, double-click the Logitech QuickCam shortcut on the desktop. Or click Start on the Windows Taskbar, and then select Programs\Logitech\Logitech QuickCam.
2. Choose your favorite video instant messaging application, or choose one of the other available software activities.

1. Place the camera on notebook screen as shown in picture.
2. Rotate the focusing ring to get a sharp image.
3. Pivot or rotate camera head for the best picture.
4. View live video to guide your adjustments.

Tips

Lighting. Shoot videos with bright light sources behind the camera and out of the picture area.

Storing the Camera for Travel. When not in use, place the camera in the pouch provided for convenient storage and transport.
