2. GENERAL ADVICE

Read the following instructions carefully before using the appliance for the first time.

  • After removing the packaging, check that the appliance is in perfect condition. If in doubt, do not use and contact your nearest authorised Technical Assistance Service.
  • The plastic bag in which the appliance is wrapped should be kept out of the reach of children, as it could constitute a safety hazard.
  • In the event of the socket and plug being incompatible, have an authorised Technical Assistance Service replace the plug.
  • The use of adapters, multi-sockets and/or extension leads is not advised. In the event of their use being absolutely necessary, always ensure that they conform to current safety standards, and take care not to exceed the indicated maximum voltage level.
  • In the event of technical failure or improper working, contact an authorised Technical Assistance Service.
  • The appliance is designed for use as described in this manual (for making fruit and vegetable juices). Any other use is considered unsuitable and therefore dangerous. The manufacturer accepts no responsibility for damage resulting from improper or irresponsible use, and/or from repairs carried out by unqualified personnel.

Take special care to follow the basic safety regulations outlined below:

  • Check that the mains voltage corresponds to that indicated on the appliance's characteristics plate.
  • Do not touch the appliance with wet or damp hands.
  • Do not use the appliance barefoot, or when your feet are damp or wet.
  • Do not pull on the mains cable to unplug the appliance.
  • Do not leave the appliance open to the elements (rain, sun, frost, etc.).

3. BEFORE USING

Before using your juice extractor for the first time, wash the pusher (A), lid (C), filter (F) and filter support (G) and rinse thoroughly. To do so, disassemble the juice extractor as indicated below:

  1. Make sure the appliance is unplugged and the switch is set to 0.
  2. Remove the pusher (A) from the lid.
  3. Rotate the lid clockwise and lift (fig. 1). Remove the filter (F) and the filter support (G) by pulling upwards (fig. 2).

To reassemble the blender, follow the above instructions in reverse order.

Assembling the lid:

The lid should be assembled so that when it is turned in a clockwise direction, the safety tongue (D) slots into the groove located in the safety mechanism (E) (fig. 3).

Important: The appliance has a safety mechanism that prevents the machine from working if the lid is not closed correctly. Do not use this safety mechanism as an On/Off switch.

4. HOW TO USE

  • With the juice extractor fully assembled and the switch set to 0, plug the appliance into the mains socket and set the switch to 1 or 2.
  • Select the fruit and/or vegetables you wish to process, peel (in the case of citrus fruit,

watermelons, pineapples, kiwi fruit, etc.), chop and remove any stones (in the case of cherries, apricots, peaches, plums, etc.) before tipping them into the feeder opening.

  • Use the pusher to gently push the fruit and/or vegetables down into the machine (fig. 9).

Never use your fingers to push food into the blender.

  • When you have finished working, set the switch to zero and unplug the appliance from the mains socket.

If you need to remove the lid between uses, switch the appliance off by setting the switch to 0.

Warning: check that the switch is set to 0 when the appliance is not in use.

5. CLEANING

  • Switch the appliance off by setting the switch to 0.
  • Unplug the appliance from the mains socket.
  • Disassemble the juice extractor (see section entitled "Before Using").
  • Clean the deposit immediately after use to prevent the peel/pulp from drying. Wash components with warm soapy water, using a brush to help clean the filter. Do not wash any of the components in the dishwasher.

Do not use bleach when cleaning the filter.

  • Never submerge the main body (H) in water or hold under a running tap. Clean by wiping with a damp cloth.

6. HOW TO GET THE BEST RESULTS FROM YOUR APPLIANCE

  • Switch the appliance on before inserting the fruit and/or vegetables.
  • Clean the filter regularly when blending grapes, quinces, blueberries or blackcurrants, etc.
  • The appliance is not designed to blend bananas, avocado pears, aubergines, figs, blackberries, etc.
  • Do not leave the appliance switched on for long periods without inserting food.
  • Never push food into the blender with your hands or any other object. Use the pusher provided.
  • If the filter becomes misshapen, do not use again. Replace. Always demand the use of original spare parts.
  • In any case, the filter should be replaced every two years.
  • Warning: always employ extreme caution when handling the filter. DO NOT USE THE APPLIANCE IF THE LID, OR THE SAFETY MECHANISMS OR THE FILTER ARE DAMAGED OR IN POOR CONDITION.

At the end of its working life, the product must not be disposed of as urban waste. It must be taken to a special local authority differentiated waste collection centre or to a dealer providing this

service. Disposing of a household appliance separately avoids possible negative consequences for the environment and health deriving from inappropriate disposal and enables the constituent materials to be recovered to obtain significant savings in energy and resources.

To remind you that you must collaborate with a selective collection scheme, the symbol shown appears on the product warning you not to dispose of it in traditional refuse containers.

1. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Read the user manual carefully before using the device.

Unpack the device and check it for good condition. In case of doubt, do not use it and contact the authorized service center for technical support. - The packaging material (foam, plastic) must be kept out of reach of children, as it represents a potential source of danger. In case of incompatibility between the socket and the plug of the device, contact the authorized service center for technical support to replace the plug. We do not recommend the use of adapters, extension cords, or power strips. 3. BEFORE USE

Before using the appliance for the first time, clean the pusher (A), the lid (C), the filter (F) and the base of the filter (G). For this purpose, disassemble the appliance as described below:

  1. The appliance must be disconnected from the mains and the switch must be in position 0. 2. Remove the pusher (A) from the lid.
  2. Turn the lid in the direction of the arrow on the lid and lift it (Fig. 1). Remove the filter (F) and the base of the filter (G) by holding G with the spout facing up (Fig. 2).

To reassemble the appliance, perform the above operations in reverse order. Closing the lid:

To close the lid, turn it in the direction opposite to the arrow on the lid, until the locking pin (D) fits into the opening of the locking part of the appliance (E) (Fig. 3). Important! The appliance has a locking part that blocks its operation if the lid is not properly closed. Do not use this part as a switch for turning the appliance on and off.

4. USE OF THE JUICER

After closing the appliance and with the switch in position 0, plug it into the mains. Then set the switch to position 1 or 2. Place the fruits or vegetables you want to juice into the feed tube. While pressing with the pusher, if necessary, remove the pulp (with citrus fruits, apples, etc.) or the core (with pineapples, etc.). Press the products against the inner wall of the appliance using the pusher. Never press the products with your fingers. After juicing is complete, set the switch to position 0 and unplug the appliance. Between each use, and especially when you need to open the lid, turn off the appliance by setting the switch to position 0.

Attention! When not using the appliance, the switch must be in position 0.

5. CLEANING

Turn off the appliance by setting the switch to position 0. Unplug the appliance from the mains. Disassemble the juicer (see "Before first use"). To prevent food residues from drying inside the appliance, disassemble it and clean it immediately after use. Wash the parts of the appliance with warm water and detergent. Use a brush to clean the filter.

6. TIPS FOR BETTER USE

Turn on the appliance only after placing the products. If you are juicing fruits like grapes, pears, apples, etc., clean the strainer more often. The juicer cannot extract juice from bananas, avocados, plums, figs, etc. Do not leave the juicer running for a long time without adding new products. Never push products into the feed tube with your fingers or other objects. If the filter is deformed, do not use it and replace it with a new original filter. Replace the filter regularly. Caution! When performing operations with the filter, be careful. DO NOT USE THE APPLIANCE IF THE BODY, THE POWER CORD OR THE FILTER ARE IN POOR CONDITION.
