GENERAL USAGE INFORMATION
The Petit Gourmet is made up of 2 steamers and 1 mixer. The 2 steamers work independently of one another. They can both steam or heat food as well as warm bottles or small jars.
-
The heating/cooking time is determined automatically by the quantity of water poured into the steamer base (K).
-
The appliance switches off automatically once all the water has evaporated. - Use the recommended quantities of water:
- To heat up a bottle or small jar: use the measuring cup (H).
- To steam or warm food: use the blender bowl and refer to the table below (page 15).

Filling the steamer base
-
Never use the appliance when empty. - Never put anything else than water in the water tank. - If there is water left in the steam bases, empty this out after each use. - Certain items may still be hot after use. - To avoid any risk of burns when handling your baby's food, leave it to cool for about 2 minutes before removing it from the bowl. - To avoid any risk of burns, keep well clear of the steam outlet while the appliance is in operation. - Always make sure that the lid has cooled down after steaming before you open it. - Wait at least 10 minutes before turning the appliance back on between each use.
-
Before using the mixer, ensure that the mixer bowl has been correctly locked onto its base, and that the lid is in the secure position (turned anti-clockwise) If the bowl or lid are not fully in place, the safety lock on the bowl and lid will prevent the appliance from operating.

HEATING BOTTLES AND SMALL JARS FUNCTION
1 - Take the steaming bowl of your choice (G) out of the steamer, along with the juice container (I) using the spatula (P).
2 - Fill up the measuring cup (H) to the line giving the volume of water/milk to heat and pour the water into the steamer base (K). To reheat small jars of 130g, fill the measuring cup up to the small jar line.
3 - Place the juice container and the steaming bowl back on their base.
4 - Place the bottle/small jar dish (F) containing the bottle or small jar to heat in the corresponding steaming bowl (G) and place the lid back on the bowl. If the bottle is higher up than the bowl, remove the bottle switching lid (C) and put the lid back on the steamer bowl. In this way, the lid bypasses the bottle. Plug into the mains.
5 - Press the On/Off button on the corresponding steamer base (L). Wait for the operation to end.
6 - To avoid burning yourself, take out the bottle dish containing the bottle or small jar using the spatula. Unplug the appliance from the mains. To avoid any risk of burning, test the temperature of the bottle milk on the inside of your wrist or the small jar before giving it to your baby. Clean the appliance once it has cooled down.
Note: the indications on the measuring cup apply to bottles at room temperature.
