How do I connect my smartphone via Bluetooth to the Auna W2-AC400 receiver?

Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone. On the receiver, press the Source button until BT is displayed. The receiver enters pairing mode. Select Auna W2-AC400 from your phone's Bluetooth device list. Confirm pairing if necessary. The Bluetooth indicator lights up solid blue.

How do I adjust treble and bass?

Use the Treble and Bass knobs on the front panel. Turn clockwise to increase, counterclockwise to decrease. The adjustment range is -10 dB to +10 dB.

What should I do if the sound is distorted or saturated?

Check that the volume is not too high (max 3/4). Ensure the speakers have a compatible impedance (4-8 ohms). Reduce the treble/bass gain. If the problem persists, check the speaker cable connections.

How do I use the FM radio?

Press Source until FM is selected. For automatic search, press and hold the Play/Pause or Scan button (depending on model). Stations are stored automatically. Use the Previous/Next buttons to browse stations.

Can I connect a subwoofer?

Yes, the receiver has a Sub Out (RCA) output. Connect your active subwoofer to this output using an RCA cable. The subwoofer level is adjusted on the subwoofer itself.

How do I play music from a USB flash drive?

Insert the USB flash drive into the USB port on the front. Press Source until USB is selected. Playback starts automatically. Use the Play/Pause, Previous/Next buttons to control.

The remote control does not work, what should I do?

Check the batteries (AAA type, two batteries). Replace them if necessary. Point the remote control at the IR sensor on the front of the receiver, within a range of 5 meters. Remove obstacles between the remote and the device.

How do I connect a DVD player or game console?

Use an AUX (RCA) input on the back. Connect the audio output of your device (DVD, console) to the AUX input of the receiver. Then select the AUX source with the Source button.

The receiver turns off automatically, is this normal?

Yes, the receiver has an energy-saving function. If no audio signal is detected for about 15 minutes, it enters standby mode. To turn it back on, press the Power button. You can disable this function in the settings (see manual).

What is the recommended maximum power for speakers?

The receiver delivers 2 x 100 W RMS. Use speakers with a nominal power between 50 W and 150 W RMS, with an impedance of 4 to 8 ohms. Lower power speakers may be damaged if the volume is too high.

CONNECTION

1. Connecting the power cable

• As this is a high-current device, the correct connection of the power cable is very important.
• Connect the red cable to the (+) terminal of your battery using the cable with the fuse holder.
• Connect the black cable firmly to a screw or another part of the bodywork of your car after you have removed the coating from this area. This is necessary for proper earthing.
  • Proper wiring results in clear sound.

2. Connection of the remote on/off cable

• Connect the orange cable to a switched power cable of the car radio. This controls the switching on and off of the amplifier.
• The cable for the automatic antenna on the radio (if present) can be used for this purpose.

3. Amplifier input connection

• This unit can be used with all car radios that have high-power outputs.
• Separate basic car radio connection: Connect the car radio speaker output cables to the high-power inputs +/- right and left.
• General car radio connection: Connect the negative car radio speaker output cable to the two remaining cables +/- right and left.

4. Connecting the AUX port

• Connect the AUX input cable to the RCA connector as described:
• "White" to the left RCA output and "Red" to the right RCA output of the car radio.
• Before connecting the RCA output of the car radio or other equipment, make sure that the impedance and sensitivity match this AUX connection.

5. Input sensitivity control

- Adjust the input sensitivity to match the output signal of the car radio.

6. Connecting the speakers (stereo & mono)

- Connect the speakers as shown in Figure 1.2 (next page).

Overview of the connections

Please note:

• The amplifier requires 7.5 A / 15 A / 20 A at maximum power. Using the amplifier while the motor is off may drain the battery. Please always switch on the motor before using the amplifier.
• Only use power cables with a suitable cross-section.
• This device is suitable for speakers with an impedance of 2-16 Ω. The speakers must have enough capacity to absorb more of the unit's power.

MOUNTING THE UNIT

Assemble the amplifier using screws as described in Figure 1.3.

Important notes on attachment

• The unit heats up strongly.
- Therefore, please leave enough space for ventilation around the amplifier when assembling it. Do not cover the amplifier during operation.
