How to fold the Mountain Buggy Terrain stroller?

To fold the stroller, lower the handle, pull the folding levers on both sides, and push the frame down until it locks in the folded position. See the manual for more details.

How to clean the safety harness?

The harness can be cleaned with a damp cloth and mild soap. Do not use abrasive products. Air dry.

What is the maximum weight supported by the stroller?

The maximum recommended weight for the child is 20 kg. Do not exceed this limit to ensure safety.

How to inflate the stroller tires?

Use a pump compatible with Schrader valves (standard). The recommended pressure is indicated on the tire sidewall, typically between 2 and 3 bars.

Is the stroller compatible with car seats?

Yes, with adapters sold separately, it is compatible with certain car seats from Maxi-Cosi, Cybex, and BeSafe.

How to adjust the stroller handle?

Unlock the adjustment knob under the handle, adjust to the desired height (from 75 to 110 cm), then lock.

What to do if the front wheels lock?

Check for debris in the bearings. If necessary, clean and lubricate with silicone spray. If the problem persists, contact customer service.

Can the stroller be used from birth?

Yes, the stroller is usable from birth thanks to a reclining backrest to a flat position. Always use the 5-point harness.

How to replace worn parts?

Spare parts (wheels, tires, harness, etc.) are available on the official Mountain Buggy website or from authorized retailers.

• Always load / unload your child on level ground.
- Ensure the brake is engaged during the loading and unloading of your child.
- Care should be taken if the buggy is used on stairs or escalators.
• Always use the wrist safety strap.
- Excessive wear can reduce effectiveness and safety. Parts may need lubrication. Inspect essential components for:

• Fraying – especially webbing straps and safety harness;
• Wear – locks, snap fasteners, tyres, plastic and moving parts;
• Safety – locks must not be loose.

• Tyres and tubes are not under warranty.
  • MB mini has aerotech tyres.
  The luxury collection buggies have aeromaxx tyres.
• With use, tyres can show signs of wear. This is normal.
• urban jungle ^TM / swift ^TM / terrain ^TM use air-filled tyres.
  The valve is car-size. Manually inflate to 20 - 22psi max.
• A flat tyre can result from grit holding the valve open. To check: inflate tyre, deflate rapidly, and re-inflate. Do not over inflate

- Releasing air gives a softer ride, but lower pressure reduces tread life.

- New inner tubes and tyres are generally available from your dealer, cycle or specialist wheel shops. Standard tyre kits can repair punctures.

- Tyre pressure is affected by heat especially when inside parked cars.

• Brush dirt off frame and wheels regularly.
• Clean frame with non-abrasive household cleaner and a soft cloth and always dry frame if wet.
• Wash off sand and salt after visiting the beach.
• Fabrics can be sponge cleaned with warm water, using a mild natural soap. Do not use detergents or bleach.
• Store in a well ventilated space, away from direct sunlight (which can harm and fade fabric), and moisture.
  • Take care to avoid damage to foam rubber. Foam rubber is not under warranty.
• Improper care will void any warranties. Do not use this product if damage is suspected.

IMPORTANT: Keep these instructions for future reference.

• This buggy is intended for children from newborn to 4 years and up to a maximum weight of 20kg (MB mini / swift™) / 5 years and up to a maximum weight of 25kg (urban jungle™ / terrain™). • It is recommended that the most reclined position be used for newborn babies. • The buggy shall only be used for a maximum of 1 child. • Never leave your child unattended. • Accessories or replacement parts that are not approved by the manufacturer or distributor should not be used. • Any load attached to the handle and / or back of the backrest and/or the sides of the buggy will affect stability of the buggy. • urban jungle™ / terrain™ - do not place more than 10kg in the parcel tray. • MB mini / swift™ - do not place more than 5kg in the parcel tray. • Do not place more than 1kg in the bottle holder. • Always use the restraint system. • No additional mattress shall be added unless recommended by the manufacturer. • Check that the pram body or seat unit or car seat attachment devices are correctly engaged before use. • Ensure that all locking devices are engaged before use. • The parking device shall be engaged during the loading

and unloading of children. • To avoid injury ensure that your child is kept away when unfolding and folding this product. • Do not let your child play with this product. • This product is not suitable for running or skating. • A car seat used on a stroller does not replace a cot or a bed. Should your child need to sleep, place them in a suitable pram body, cot or bed.

WARNINGS

American safety standard states:

- Never leave your child unattended in the buggy. • Always use the safety harness to avoid serious injury from falling or sliding out. • Always secure all safety harness straps. Child may slip into leg openings and strangle. Never use in reclined carriage position unless child is securely restrained. • This buggy is intended for children from newborn to 4 years and up to a maximum weight of 44lbs (MB mini / swift™) / 5 years and up to a maximum weight of 55lbs (urban jungle™ / terrain™). • To prevent the the from becoming unstable, do not place parcels or accessory items anywhere except in the

storage basket and pockets provided. • urban jungle™ / terrain™ - do not place more than 22lbs in the parcel tray. • swift™/ MB mini - do not place more than 11lbs in the parcel tray. • Do not place more than 2.2lbs in the bottle holder. • Excessive weight may cause a hazardous unstable condition to exist. In the reclined position, the mesh wall (stored under the front seat) must be used. The user must attach the wall to the stroller frame using the cord and toggle attachment device.

Australia / New Zealand safety standard states: To avoid injury or death:

• Always apply the brakes whenever the buggy is stationary. • Do not leave children unattended. • Secure the child in the harness at all times. • Do not carry extra children or bags on this buggy. • Make sure children are clear of any moving parts if you adjust the buggy. • Use the harness at all times. • When not in use, never leave the harness buckled, as harness can form loops

which may pose a strangulation hazard. • It is unsafe to use accessories other than those approved by the manufacturer. • Do not use this seat with any other models of buggy. • Care should be taken if the buggy is used on stairs or escalators. • The buggy should not be used near an open fire or exposed flame. • This buggy is intended for children up to a maximum weight of MB mini / swift™ - 20kg / urban jungle™ / terrain™ - 25kg. • urban jungle™ / terrain™ - do not place more than 10kg in the parcel tray. • MB mini / swift™ - do not place more than 5kg in the parcel tray. • Do not place more than 1kg in the bottle holder. • Use the tether strap to stop the buggy rolling away. • The buggy is designed for use on flat or gently sloping surfaces and may be unstable on higher sloping and uneven surfaces, resulting in the possibility of the buggy tipping over. • Due care should be exercised when folding or unfolding the buggy, as there is potential for fingers or body parts to be injured. • When folding the buggy, please check visually that the automatic frame lock is engaged. • The buggy should only be carried or lifted when it is properly folded. Do not carry or lift the buggy by the wheels, the grab bar or the harness - position your hands at the centre of the side frame.
