What accessories are included with the Imetec Amasadora Dolcevita ST3?

The mixer includes stainless steel wire whisks and dough hooks, a plastic bowl (where present), a spatula, and a hand blender.

How do I attach the hand blender?

Open the safety hatch on the motor unit, then screw the hand blender shaft to the inside of the hatch. Set the speed button to the hand blender position and press the turbo button to start.

What is the maximum continuous operating time?

Do not run the appliance for more than 5 minutes continuously. After 5 minutes, let it rest for 5 minutes before using again.

Can I use my own bowl instead of the provided one?

Yes, you can use your own bowl. In that case, insert and fasten the beaters into the motor unit, then operate the mixer directly in your bowl.

How do I clean the mixer?

Unplug the appliance. Wipe the motor unit and cord with a damp, well-wrung sponge. Wash removable parts in warm water immediately after use, or in the dishwasher at a maximum temperature of 55°C. Never immerse the motor unit in water.

What does the turbo function do?

The turbo function provides a pulse action for the final working stage, incorporating more air into the mixture to give it more volume.

What should I do if the appliance malfunctions?

Turn it off immediately and do not tamper with it. Contact an authorised IMETEC Service Centre for repairs. Do not attempt to replace the power cord yourself.

Is the hand blender safe to use with the beaters?

No, the hand blender has a safety system that prevents it from being used at the same time as the beaters. It also cannot be used at speeds 1-4.

How do I release the beaters?

Press the beater release button on the motor unit. Do not press this button while the appliance is running.

What types of mixtures are recommended for wire whisks vs. dough hooks?

Wire whisks are best for soft mixtures like cake bases, cream, egg whites, and whipped cream. Dough hooks are recommended for thicker mixtures such as bread dough, pizza dough, and short-crust pastry.

CAREFULLY READ THE INSTRUCTIONS AND WARNINGS IN THIS MANUAL AND KEEP THEM FOR FUTURE REFERENCE FOR ENTIRE PRODUCT LIFE. THEY SUPPLY IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS REGARDING OPERATIONS AND SAFETY FOR PRODUCT INSTALLATION, USE AND MAINTENANCE.

GENERAL WARNINGS

1. After unpacking, make sure that the appliance is intact with no visible signs of damage caused by transport. Should you have any doubts, do not use the appliance and take it to an authorised IMETEC Service Centre.
2. Before connecting the appliance, check that the rating plate specifications correspond to the electrical mains supply. The plate is on the bottom of the appliance.
3. Do not use adapters, multiple sockets and/or extension cords. If the appliance's plug and the socket are incompatible, have the socket replaced with a suitable type by qualified staff.
4. This appliance must only be used for the purpose for which it has been designed, that is, as a beater for home use. Any other use is to be considered improper and therefore dangerous. The manufacturer cannot be held responsible for any damage due to improper or incorrect use.

5. The use of any electric appliance implies the observance of some fundamental rules. Specifically:

6. never touch the appliance with hands or feet that are wet or damp

7. do not tug the power cord or the appliance to pull the plug out of the socket
8. do not expose the appliance to the elements (rain, sun, etc.)

18. Should you decide not to use the appliance any more, we suggest making it inoperative by cutting the power cord after removing the plug from the socket. We also recommend making all potentially dangerous parts of the appliance harmless, particularly for children who might be tempted to play with it.
19. Always disconnect the power mixer from the mains when left unattended and before you assemble, disassemble or clean it.
20. Never allow unsupervised children to use the power mixer.
21. This appliance should not be used by children or persons with partially reduced physical, sensorial or mental faculties, and in any case without specific knowledge and experience, or without the supervision or instructions for use provided by a responsible person.
22. Children must not be allowed to play with the appliance.

ON AND OFF CONTROL

The on and off control has the following settings:

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Suggestions for use

We recommend using the wire whisks for soft mixtures (cake bases, cream, mounted egg whites, whipped cream) and the dough hooks are recommended for thicker mixtures (bread dough, pizzas, short-crust pastry for savoury pies).

Use the hand blender accessory for preparing sauces, veloutes, and milk shakes.

For better results, pour part of the flour into the mixing bowl with the rest of the liquid ingredients. Run the appliance at increasing speed until the dough has reached the consistency of a ball. Then add the remaining flour.

When working, to improve the mixing of the ingredients, stop the appliance and mix the ingredients with spatula ^⑮ provided.

Warning:

• Never press beater release button ⑦ when the appliance is working.
• Do not leave the appliance running continuously for more than 5 minutes.
• After 5 minutes of continuous use it is recommended to let the appliance rest for 5 minutes.

WORKING WITH THE CONTAINER PROVIDED (WHERE PRESENT)

• Put container ⑭ into its housing ⑪ [Fig. A]. Press opening button ⑬ and lower mixer support base ⑨ until there is a click [Fig. B].
• Insert and fasten either the wire whisks or dough hooks ③, chosen according to the type of mixing to be carried out, into the mixer motor unit ① [Fig. C]. The geared beater should be placed in the coupling hole marked 🔒.
• Place the mixer on its support base ⑨, ensuring that the beaters are properly inserted into their housings ⑫ [Fig. D].
• Press gently to connect the rear hook to the motor unit [Fig. E].
• Put the ingredients into bowl ⑭.
• Insert the plug in the socket.
• Use the appropriate speed adjustment button ⑥ to select the working speed, the beaters and the bowl will start rotating at the set speed.
• Perform the operation in reverse, pressing button⑩ to release the motor unit [Fig. F].

WORKING WITH OTHER BOWLS

The mixer can be used in a bowl supplied by you

In this case:

• Insert and fasten either the wire whisks or dough hooks ②, chosen according to the type of mixing to be carried out, into the mixer motor unit ① [Fig. C].
• Put the ingredients into bowl.
• Insert the plug in the socket.
• Use the appropriate speed adjustment button ⑥ to select the working speed.

WORKING WITH THE HAND BLENDER

• Release the beaters from the motor unit by pressing button ⑦.
• Open hand blender insertion safety hatch ⑰ [Fig. G].
• Screw the shaft of hand blender ⑱ to the inside of safety hatch ⑰ [Fig. H].
• Set speed adjustment button ⑥ to the hand blender position [Fig. I].
• Press turbo button TURBO to start the hand blender [Fig. L].

Warning:

- The hand blender is fitted with a safety system that prevents it being used at the same time as the beaters.

- This appliance is fitted with a safety system that prevents the hand blender from being used at speeds 1-2-3-4.

CLEANING

• Disconnect the appliance's plug from the power socket.

• Never immerse the motor unit in water.
• Never open the rear hatch when being used with the beaters.

• Never obstruct the air inlets during the working stages since the motor could overheat.
