5. FAQ
Q1: Which devices can be connected to the solar panel?
A: This solar panel is for charging power stations and other mobile devices such as tablets, smartphones, power banks and others.
Check the technical data to see if your device will be supported.
Q2: Can the solar panel be operated or left standing in the rain?
A: No. This product is IP44 certified, whereas the actual panel without the connection unit even meets IP67 requirements.
However, due to the connection unit, permanent contact with moisture and water such as rain must be avoided.
Q3: What should I do if the solar panel has been standing or lying in the rain?
A: Dry the panel with a soft cloth and let the connection unit to dry out completely. We strongly recommend that you do not continue
to use the solar panel after this, as moisture may have penetrated the connection unit. Danger of short circuit/fire!
Q4: Can I use the solar panel on a cloudy day?
A: Yes, but you will only achieve best results in direct sunlight.
Q5: What can be the reason that the solar panel does not charge the device I have connected?
A: - Please check if the technical data of the device which should be charged match those of the solar panel. Bad weather conditions such as cloud cover can affect the output power of the solar panel. Check whether the solar panel orientation can be changed to improve the situation.
- Check that all connection cables are correctly connected and undamaged. Replace them if necessary.
- Check whether the solar panel has a visible defect or has been exposed to moisture, rain, extreme cold or shocks, strong pressure or similar.
If so, please disconnect it from all connected devices and do not continue to operate it.
